I'M DYING OF THIRST!!!

For the Browns' part, they just released a statement on the matter ... saying, "We are aware of the incident, gathering more information and have no further comment at this time."

Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Lonnie Phelps was arrested Wednesday night ... after cops say he drunkenly crashed an SUV into a restaurant -- and then refused to cooperate with a police investigation afterward.

According to the Key West Police Department incident report, obtained by TMZ Sports, it all happened at around 8:47 PM outside of the Red Shoe Island Bistro in Key West.

Cops say they were dispatched to the scene in reference to a traffic crash ... and when they arrived, they saw a black Hyundai wedged into the side of the eatery. When officers asked bystanders who was inside the vehicle at the time of the wreck, Phelps and his girlfriend were ID'ed, police said.

Justin Timberlake DWI Arrest Body Cam Vid ... Won't Be Released Anytime Soon

Justin Timberlake's DWI arrest was caught on body cam video -- but cops aren't planning to release it to the public anytime soon ... at least not until their investigation is wrapped.

TMZ officially submitted a request for a copy of the video -- which we know was taken during the time of the arrest early Tuesday -- and Sag Harbor PD just got back to us with their response ... saying they're denying the request for the footage, and citing a statute that's interesting.

According to SHPD ... the reason they won't drop the body cam video (for now) is because of a specific New York law that deals with the release of public records.

Justin Timberlake No Plans for Rehab ... Focusing on World Tour

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Justin has no plans to check into a rehab facility following Tuesday morning's arrest in Sag Harbor, NY. It's not uncommon for Hollywood types to take proactive steps after a drug or alcohol-related arrest to look good before a judge.

Voluntarily seeking treatment in rehab or alcohol education classes can put them in a position for a better plea deal, but Justin has a different plan, and, perhaps ... for good reason.

Justin Timberlake Lawyer Speaks On Arrest ... Ready to Fight the Allegations

Justin Timberlake has remained tight-lipped in the aftermath of his DWI arrest ... but his lawyer says he's ready to fight tooth and nail for his client, which is interesting.

JT's defense attorney, Edward Burke Jr., tells TMZ ... "[We] look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time."

Ed adds ... "He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA's office." It almost seems like Justin and co. think the arrest and subsequent charges are BS -- that's the vibe here anyway.

Justin Timberlake Arrest Pre-DWI Hotel Won't Ban Him ... Welcome With Open Arms

Justin Timberlake isn't losing any luster in the Hamptons with his DWI arrest -- the posh hotel where he drank before getting busted says the singer's legal issues won't prevent him from getting a table or a room.

As we've reported ... JT was dining with friends at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor, NY Monday night before getting arrested for allegedly driving drunk. He told cops he'd only had one martini before getting behind the wheel.

Ted Conklin, owner of The American Hotel, tells TMZ ... the property will welcome Justin back with open arms and they have no plans to ban him -- mainly because he was a model customer while there.

Justin Timberlake Still Planning to Perform in Chicago ... Despite DWI Arrest

Justin Timberlake isn't shying away from the spotlight following his DWI arrest -- in fact, he's stepping right into it later this week ... 'cause he's all set to perform in the Windy City.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... JT will, in fact, perform in Chicago starting Friday -- which kicks off two tour dates there in town that were previously scheduled. We're told Justin has every intention to hit the stage in Chi-Town for both Friday and Saturday's shows.

Jessica's set was not too far from where Justin's arrest occurred ... and this seems to explain what JT was even doing in town. As it turns out, his wife was working nearby.
