Amanda Bynes Parents Knew Nothing of Arrest No Idea Where She Is Now
The parents of Amanda Bynes are in the dark about their daughter's arrest and have no idea where she is or what she's been doing since her conservatorship ended.
Bynes' father Rick said he and his wife learned about Amanda's arrest from the media ... they weren't the ones who bailed her out. Rick repeatedly said, "We don't know," when asked about Amanda.
It's interesting … Rick said he thought his daughter might be in New York, but TMZ has learned she's staying in the Hollywood area right now.
As TMZ first reported, Amanda moved out of her parents' house once the conservatorship ended earlier this month … but many people close to Amanda feel it was a terrible mistake not to extend it.
We're told Amanda is smoking a lot of weed and is off her anti-psychotic meds for Schizophrenia and bipolarity.
We're also told she was busted for DUI because she was under the influence of Adderall.

Amanda Bynes Driving Under the Influence of ADDERALL Desperate Situation
Amanda Bynes was under the influence of Adderall when she was arrested for DUI ... sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... but her problems go much deeper than a criminal case.
We've learned the Adderall was prescribed by a doctor and she had taken the drug before getting stopped in Van Nuys Sunday and failing multiple field sobriety tests. She was arrested for DUI.
Adderall is a stimulant and we're told Amanda was "out of it" when she was stopped.
Fact is ... it's no defense to DUI that the drug in question was prescribed -- it's still operating a vehicle while impaired. But Amanda now faces a probation violation -- she's on probation for reckless driving -- and the fact that the drug was prescribed may help her there.
The deeper problem is this ... As TMZ first reported, Amanda has moved out of her parents house and is now living in Orange County. We're told she's smoking a lot of weed and is off her anti-psychotic meds for Schizophrenia and bipolarity.
Amanda's conservatorship ended earlier this month and we're told her parents saw no need to extend it because they believe she's better now, but everyone else in her life feels it was a horrible mistake to let the conservatorship lapse and they fear for Amanda.

Steelers Running Back: I Didn't Know You Could Get a DUI For Being High
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell told police he had no idea he could get a DUI for driving while high -- after admitting that he smoked weed before getting behind the wheel ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.
As we previously reported, Bell and teammate LeGarrette Blount were arrested on August 20th in Pennsylvania -- after a cop said he could smell weed coming from their Camaro.
According to the report, the cop initially asked Bell (the driver) if he had any weed in the car -- and he initially said NO.
But when the cop asked if he was high, Bell reportedly replied, "It was about a minute ago. We smoked within the last two hours."
The cop said he called for backup -- including a K9 unit to search the car -- and that's when Bell told the officer he had weed in the glove box.
Bell, Blount and a woman in the car told the cop they had all chipped in to buy the weed.
The cop says he told Bell he could be in trouble for driving under the influence -- to which Bell replied, "I didn't know that you could get a DUI for being high. I smoked two hours ago. I am not high anymore. I am perfectly fine."
"Why would I be getting high if I had to get on a plane to make it to my game?"
He added, "I have to be on my plane at 3 to be in Philadelphia, I play for the Steelers."
The cop ran some field sobriety tests -- Bell bombed -- and he was arrested. Blount and the female passenger were each cited for weed possession.

Justin Bieber Friend Gets Lighter Sentence Because He Kept Mouth Shut
Justin Bieber did NOT get celebrity justice when he copped a plea in his Miami Beach DUI case ... because we've learned his lesser known friend who was also busted for DUI just copped a plea that is a slap on the wrist by comparison.
You may recall ... both Bieber and Khalil were busted for DUI after cops claimed they were drag racing back in January.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Khalil will pled guilty to careless driving and his punishment will be a $500 fine and enrollment in a drug and alcohol program.
Justin, on the other hand, pled guilty to careless driving and resisting an officer without violence. He now has to fork over $50,000 and attend 12 anger management classes ... something Khalil does have to do.
The only real difference between the 2 -- Bieber mouthed off to the cops.
Khalil's lawyer Bradford Cohen tells us, "Khalil got the benefit of being polite and courteous and not acting obnoxious and privileged, and that's why the pleas were not identical."
A $50,000 lesson learned.
