Brandon Davis Cops DUI Plea ... Avoids Jail Time Again
Hollywood heir Brandon Davis is mastering the art of the plea deal -- we've learned he just dodged jail in his DUI arrest.
We're told Davis, aka Greasy Bear, pled no contest to a DUI charge for his single car wreck last October. As we reported, his blood alcohol level that night was almost twice the legal limit.
The heir to the Marvin Davis fortune was facing up to 6 months in jail, but got off with 36 months probation, 10 days community labor and 6 months in an alcohol treatment program.
He's previously pled guilty to felony coke possession and no contest to a battery charge in 2011. He skated with a drug diversion program.
Of course, he'll have to keep his nose clean during his 3 years probation, which ain't always easy ... as his nemesis Lindsay Lohan knows.
Fun Fact: We're coming up on the 10th anniversary of "firecrotch."

NBA's Ty Lawson Punished In Denver Drunk Driving Case ... Miraculously Avoids Jail
Indiana Pacers star Ty Lawson pulled off a miracle ... somehow avoiding jail in his Denver drunk driving case even though prosecutors desperately wanted him to serve time.
Lawson had pled guilty to driving while ability impaired back in November ... after failing field sobriety tests during his arrest on Jan. 23rd 2015. During the incident, cops say Lawson reeked of booze and couldn't stand up straight.
Prosecutors raised the issue that Lawson had 2 drunk driving incidents before the Denver arrest -- and was busted for DUI in L.A. in July -- saying he needed jail to learn his lesson.
But the judge said Lawson's 2 previous cases didn't count as "offenses" -- unclear why ... we're looking into it.
Regardless, Lawson was ultimately sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to complete 48 hours of community service, 52 hours of therapy and NO MARIJUANA USE!
He also has to undergo monitored sobriety checks -- which means no alcohol either.

Dak Prescott THE MUG SHOT ... After DUI Arrest
-
EXCLUSIVE
TMZ Sports has obtained Dak Prescott's mug shot ... taken the same day the Mississippi State QB was arrested for DUI early Saturday morning.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, Prescott was pulled over at 12:31 AM in his 2016 Cadillac Escalade SUV -- and later charged with speeding and DUI.
Interesting note in the police report ... cops say Prescott took 2 breath tests -- but one was an "insufficient sample" and the other one was an "invalid sample."
This could be a very good thing for Prescott -- because the absence of a blood alcohol sample makes it harder for prosecutors to get a DUI conviction.
Prescott was one of the top QBs in the upcoming draft and before the arrest had been projected to go in the 3rd or 4th round.
He's due back in court in April.

'SpongeBob SquarePants' DUI Bust Won't Cost Squidward His Job
Rodger Bumpass -- aka Squidward Tentacles on "SpongeBob SquarePants" -- can rest easy ... he won't get sacked from the show for his DUI arrest.
Sources close to production tell us, execs don't view a DUI bust as a deal breaker, and good thing, because half of Hollywood would lose their jobs.
We're told the only basis for firing him would be the "morals clause," and the show takes the position getting a DUI is not an immoral act. Legally speaking, that's exactly right.
Bumpass told us he was worried sick he'd be fired.
TMZ broke the story ... Bumpass was busted January 15 after cops noticed his blue PT Cruiser in the middle of the road. They say he was propped on the hood, admitted drinking and driving and flunked a field sobriety test. Cops say his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

'Spongebob Squarepants' Squidward Tentacles Claims Cops Lied in DUI Bust
Rodger Bumpass -- aka Squidward Tentacles on "SpongeBob SquarePants" -- says cops lied about his DUI arrest ... but Bumpass' accusation could actually hurt him legally.
TMZ broke the story ... cops claimed they saw him leaning against his PT Cruiser on a Burbank street when they approached him. Police say he tried to walk away and stumbled as if he were impaired. He then flunked a field sobriety test and blew more than twice the legal limit.
Bumpass tells us he was NOT leaning against his car. Here's the way he says it went down. Bumpass admits he had been drinking at a Burbank bar, got in his car and began driving home. At some point he says cops began tailing him, pulled him over and asked if he had been drinking. He confessed he had, and then failed the field sobriety test.
Here's the problem ... cops say they never saw him behind the wheel, and even if he confessed he was so out of it the confession could be challenged. By claiming cops first spotted him while he was driving blows that defense out of the water.
Bumpass says he's spoken with several people over at Nickelodeon and his fate there is uncertain.

Stephanie Seymour DUI Mug Shot More Like Supermodel Candid
Stephanie Seymour escaped her DUI without one of those embarrassing celebrity mug shots, but it's not what you're thinking -- cops say she just got lucky due to a glitch.
TMZ broke the story ... the supermodel got arrested last Friday in Greenwich, CT. The State Police just released her booking photo, and quite frankly ... it looks like a happy candid shot taken while she's sitting and chatting with friends.
Cops tell us the photo was snapped as an officer was booking her and it's NOT a mistake. This is how CT State Police take mug shots now -- with a camera on an officer's desktop computer -- however cops say she should have been looking into the lens.
We're told it's unclear if human error or a computer glitch is behind the pic being taken at the wrong moment -- they've had "issues" with the new computerized system.
Either way, it worked out for Seymour.
Tip for DMX -- get arrested in Connecticut more often.
