BREAKING THE FAMILY UP
TMZSports.com

DeAndre Jordan didn't just sit at home and sulk after his Clippers teammate (and good friend), Blake Griffin, was traded to Detroit ... he hit the town -- but wasn't his usual happy self.

DJ rolled into Nice Guy in West Hollywood -- one of the hottest nightspots in town -- but didn't want to talk about the blockbuster deal that went down just hours before.

He was equally quiet on the way out ... as he got in to a waiting, decked-out sprinter van and drove off into the night. Though he did stop to dap up some waiting fans.

There are strong rumors DeAndre's the next Clippers star to go ... so, guess it makes sense to enjoy the town while he's still here.

FOR THE KIDS

Kid Rock had a group of youth basketball players yellin' "bawitdaba" after a recent Pistons game ... and all he had to do was hook 'em up with some free hot cocoa!!

Here's what happened ... a Canadian youth hoops team was leaving the Pistons vs. Rockets game this past weekend when they spotted the rocker inside his Made in Detroit restaurant.

The American Bad Ass noticed the team gawking through the window, so he invited the whole group in and ordered 15 hot cocoas on the house!!

The team's coach thanked the Detroit native for the gesture ... who then told him to pay it forward.

BONUS -- Kid Rock showed the coach his jumper ... and hopefully he doesn't hit the court anytime soon.

Hall of Fame voters, listen up -- Chauncey Billups says 3/5 of his '04 Pistons starting lineup should be enshrined, telling TMZ Sports that he, Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace all belong in Springfield.

Billups is a 1st-time nominee to the Hall this year ... and when we talked with him the 5-time All-Star and former Finals MVP, he told us he thinks he did enough to get in.

"I think that I am, obviously ... there's so many other worthy guys, but I do. I think my story is really unique, my fight is really unique."

Chauncey isn't the only guy from his NBA championship team up for the honor ... Rip is also a 1st-time nominee, and Ben missed out on his 1st shot last year.

Billups thinks they should ALL get in ... and he's 100% serious.

"I think there's a case to be made for Rip ... I think Ben is the easiest case out of all 3 of us, to be honest with you."

With Hamilton, CB says his college days put him in (Rip won a national championship with UConn) ... and with Wallace, he says if Rodman and Mutombo are in, he should be too.

If you're wondering, we didn't ask about Rasheed Wallace ... but we're guessing Billups votes yes.

NBA's Avery Bradley Paid Big Money to Silence Sexual Assault Accuser ... Denies Allegation

Detroit Pistons player Avery Bradley entered into a confidentiality agreement with a reality star who accused him of sexual assault earlier this year -- and at one point, negotiations got as high as $400k, TMZ Sports has learned.

But Bradley's attorney tells TMZ Sports he adamantly denies all wrongdoing -- and only entered into the agreement to prevent false information from being made public.

Here's what we know ... the allegation stems from an incident on May 23 in Cleveland, Ohio. The woman involved claimed Bradley sexually assaulted her while she was passed out drunk.

Bradley was a member of the Boston Celtics at the time of the incident. The Celtics were in Cleveland to play the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals.

After the incident, the woman contacted Bradley and accused him of assaulting her. The two sides came together to work out a deal to keep her quiet and prevent her from releasing any video, photos or audio.

At one point in the negotiations, the parties considered resolving the matter for $400,000 ... but it's unclear what number Bradley ultimately agreed to pay. We're told the final figure was high.

We spoke with Bradley's attorney Brian Wolf of Lavely & Singer who tells us, "Mr. Bradley absolutely denies having engaged in wrongdoing whatsoever. The confidentiality agreement specifically refutes and denies the validity of all allegations of any wrongful conduct by Mr. Bradley. The sole purpose of the agreement was to protect the reputation and privacy of Mr. Bradley and his family."

Wolf adds, "My office will take all appropriate action against all persons involved in the wrongful disclosure of this agreement. We will conduct a thorough investigation into who is responsible for this wrongful disclosure."

THE EPIC REVEAL

Pay attention, NBA dads -- Pistons guard Langston Galloway just set the big baller standard for gender reveals ... and teammate Andre Drummond's got the hilarious play-by-play.

It all went down at Little Caesar's Arena Tuesday night after the Pistons smashed the Pacers ... when Langston rocked the rim to figure out if he and his wife, Sabrina, are having a boy or girl.

Galloway killed it. The ball exploded, confetti went everywhere, and he and Sabrina hugged it out while his teammates cheered him on.

But the real MVP might have been Andre ... the unofficial emcee for Lang's ceremony.

Congrats!!

TMZSports.com

Andre Drummond is keeping it pretty real when it comes to his future -- telling TMZ Sports when it comes to blockbuster trade rumors, "Anything is possible in this league."

The rumors are heating up that the Detroit Pistons star could be shipped out before the season starts -- and even engaged with a Twitter fan this week who suggested Drummond could be part of a mega trade to Cleveland for Kyrie Irving.

But when we asked about it, he didn't exactly rule it out -- "I play for Detroit now, so we'll keep it at that."

That said, Drummond still has big hopes for the Motor City -- telling us the Pistons picked up a lot of great talents in the off-season including Avery Bradley.

"We got a lot of great pieces to be a great team."

Detroit Pistons star Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was surprisingly calm for a guy suspected of DUI ... at least, it seemed that way in the video of his arrest, obtained by TMZ Sports.

Kentavious was arrested in the early hours of March 29 -- after the Pistons had lost to the Miami Heat.

KCP was initially pulled over for speeding -- but during the stop, the officer explains to the NBA star that he smelled booze and his eyes were glossy.

Caldwell-Pope explained that he only had 2 drinks that night -- two glasses of Hennessy -- but says he specifically kept his drinking in check because he knew he had to drive.

At one point, it sounds like Kentavious calls himself a "lightweight."

Eventually, the officer administered a breathalyzer (he allegedly blew a .08) and arrested Kentavious for DUI. The officer described him as "very cooperative" in the police report and you can see why in the video.

Detroit Pistons Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Arrested for DUI

Detroit Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was arrested early Wednesday morning for DUI ... hours after the Pistons lost ANOTHER game.

24-year-old Caldwell-Pope was initially pulled over in Auburn Hills, Michigan at 2:50 AM for going 45 in a 25 -- but during the stop, cops say they could smell the alcohol on Kentavious.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports, KCP admitted to having 2 drinks of Hennessey at a bar earlier in the evening.

The officer administered field sobriety tests -- KCP didn't do great -- and he was arrested for DUI. After he was taken to a nearby station, Kentavious took a breathalyzer test -- and blew a .08.

Cops say the NBA player was "very cooperative."

Kentavious had played against the Miami Heat earlier in the evening -- dropping 25 points in the 97-96 loss to the Heat.

Tom Gores Pistons Owner Buys $100 Million Mansion!!!

One of the best properties in all of Los Angeles just sold ... for a cool $100 mil, TMZ has learned.

Detroit Pistons' owner Tom Gores snagged the Holmby Hills estate Thursday. The place is spectacular ... 30,000 square feet, 10 bedrooms, 20 bathrooms, a 10 car garage, ridiculous pools, including an indoor waterfall that drops into a lap pool, beauty salon, wine room, massage room, movie theater ... and on and on.

The master suite alone is 5,300 square feet!

It's the second $100 million sale in L.A. ... back in August the Playboy Mansion, also located in Holmby Hills, sold for the same amount.

Gores kept it all in the family. He was repped by real estate agents Tiffany and Christy Martin, his nieces, and sister Samira. All 3 agents are with The Agency, which by the way also sold the Playboy Mansion.

The property used to be owned by Barbara Streisand back in the day, but years later it was razed and the new house was built.

The Detroit Pistons star was at LAX -- proudly displaying his VIP backstage pass to Bieber on his backpack from his concert in Michigan on Monday night ... one day after the Pistons were eliminated.

"He's a cool dude," Drummond told us.

AD also says Bieber put on one helluva show -- but it wasn't perfect ... he's still got some room to grow.

As for the rest of Andre's off-season plans -- don't worry Detroit, Drummond says he'll come back even STRONGER next season.

Brandon Jennings is throwing the last shovel of dirt on Meek Mill's rap grave, and insists Meek's got no one to blame but himself.

The Pistons star was leaving 1 OAK on the Sunset Strip and didn't hesitate when we brought up the Drake-Meek mess, saying ... "His career just got started, now it's done."

Of course, Brandon -- who just came back from OVO Fest -- got in the middle of the feud last week when he posted a pic of himself writing Meek a check for $150 to stop rapping.

GOTTA HAVE FAITH
TMZSports.com

Sorry atheists ... NBA players who have a good relationship with God are more successful than NBA players who don't ... so says Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings.

Jennings was at LAX today when he told us religion plays a huge role in the NBA ... "Before every game we always have a little bible study ceremony ... any city you go to, so it's pretty cool."

That's not the case with every team -- Doc Rivers, in an effort to respect different beliefs, reportedly does not allow team prayer in the Clippers locker room ... though he does lead a moment of silence before games.

Thoughts?

TMZSports.com

He's 52-years-old ... but Michael Jordan still strikes fear into the hearts of the NBA's young guns -- including Andre Drummond who says he thinks MJ could still ball him up in 1-on-1.

The Detroit Pistons star was at Gold's Gym in L.A. when we asked about a recent interview in which MJ said he could still beat any of the players on the Charlotte Hornets roster ... but doesn't want to "demolish their confidence."

So, we asked Andre -- who's 21-years-old and one of the best young stars in the league -- if HE thinks he could take the old man ... and he didn't exactly sound like the most confident guy.

Jennings says he's SOLID when it comes to parenting -- he changes diapers, he warms the milk, everything -- which is why he doesn't need another crash course in being a dad.

But when it comes to predicting the sex, Jennings says he's 100% certain this one's a boy -- since he's already got 2.

So, will he ever have a girl? "I don't know. We'll see. If my next baby mama's with it."
