Eric Decker says playing for the sucky NY Jets made him long for the days when he was a Denver Bronco.

Cameras were rolling on the WR the day after he was cut by the NY Jets back in June -- and now his reaction is a part of his E! reality show, 'Eric & Jessie' (airs Wed. at 10 PM).

"It's weird, I was fired," Decker says ... while discussing how it sucked not making the playoffs during his 3-year run in NY.

Jessie asks where he wants to play next -- and Eric replies, "I do wanna go somewhere where I have a good chance to get back to the playoffs because I think I took for granted how (great it was)."

"We did it almost every year in Denver and ... I thought it was the norm."

Sergio Dipp -- who became famous Monday night for his epically terrible 'MNF' sideline report -- says he wants another shot to cover the NFL ... assuring the viewers he'll do better next time!

Dipp rose to social media superstardom during the 1st half of the Chargers, Broncos game -- ESPN cameras cut to the sideline reporter who bumbled his way through an incredibly awkward story about Broncos head coach Vance Joseph.

ESPN never brought Dipp back on the air -- despite demands from everyone on Twitter. There was just something endearing about him.

After the game, Dipp -- who was born in Mexico -- posted a video statement ... saying he was just very excited to make his debut on American TV, "The biggest stage possible."

"All I wanted to do was to show some love to these two historical head coaches," Dipp said.

"Hopefully, I'll have another chance and be sure I'll make the most out of it."

WHO'S THE ROOKIE NOW?!

Von Miller got smashed on by rookie lineman Garett Bolles in a competitive game of mini-basketball in the Broncos locker room ... with Bolles tearing the rim down in the process!

FYI, Bolles was the guy who wussed out during the rookie hot dog eating contest and got the "Game of Thrones" shame treatment from his teammates when he spit out his wieners.

Despite dominating the 1-on-1 ... Bolles ended up getting shamed -- AGAIN -- and it's hilarious.

This is the BEST.

The Denver Broncos broke out the shears and went to town on the rookies -- shaving their heads into the best terrible haircuts ever ... and it's fantastic!!

It's a years-old tradition in Denver dating back to when Tim Tebow was drafted back in 2010 (remember, he got the "Friar Tuck" hairdo).

This time, it was Von Miller and Brandon Marshall as head stylists -- busting out everything from a checkerboard look to a MarioKart racetrack cut ... they even shaved a dude's eyebrow off!

Some of the victims ... Garett Bolles, De'Angelo Henderson and Brendan Langley.

It's all in good fun -- and it'll all grow back. But funny as hell.

10:11 AM PT -- He did it again -- cop say Bowlen tried to use the "Do you know who my father is?" tactic with police.

Officials say John was driving over 100 mph on the 101 Freeway -- driving like a maniac and scaring other drivers. Multiple people called 911 for more than a hour trying to get cops involved. Ultimately, 5 troopers joined the search and helped apprehend him.

Once the car was stopped, officers found a puppy in the vehicle -- and animal control was called to get the animal.

Officials say Bowlen was "not cooperative."

More trouble for "the blood of the city" ... the son of Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen was arrested for DUI in California on Sunday, TMZ Sports has learned.

31-year-old John Bowlen was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol in the Paso Robles area around 2 PM -- and during the stop, officers determined he was under the influence of alcohol.

He was hauled to a nearby station where he was booked on 2 counts of misdemeanor DUI. He's set to be released later Monday morning.

This isn't John's first brush with the law -- the former Broncos marketing employee was arrested for domestic violence in 2015 in an incident in which he was also accused of hijacking the phone of his GF when she called 911.

During the call with the 911 operator, John claimed to be the "blood of the city" and friends with the mayor, and assured officials nothing was wrong.

He was ultimately found guilty of harassment and sentenced to 2 years probation.

Broncos receiver Cody Latimer was pepper sprayed by a bouncer during a fight outside an Ohio strip club ... and TMZ Sports has the insane footage.

We're told 24-year-old Latimer was trying to get into Diamonds Cabaret strip club near Dayton at the end of February with his uncle and a friend ... but got into a disagreement with the bouncer about the dress code.

We're told the group asked to speak to the manager and then moved outside. That's where the video starts.

In the footage, you see Latimer with his arms out between his group and the bouncer. Things escalate when Latimer slaps the bouncer, who then sprays C.L. with pepper spray. Latimer's uncle then lunges at the bouncer and is knocked out.

We're told Latimer's group left immediately after the fight and cops were never called to the scene. Law enforcement sources tell us there's no pending criminal investigation.

Peyton Manning turned a grown ass woman into a full Mary Katherine Gallagher.

It all went down outside "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in L.A. -- when Peyton and his brother, Cooper Manning, were leaving the studio after the show and stopped to sign an autograph for a fan who was wearing Peyton's jersey.

The woman absolutely LOST HER MIND -- pumping her fists in sheer excitement after getting #18's signature.

Can't blame her ... signed Manning jerseys can sometimes sell for $1,000 a pop!

Denver Broncos legend John Elway was back in L.A. Wednesday night -- and kinda sorta pledged to donate his brain to science ... if he was actually being serious.

Elway was leaving Craig's in West Hollywood when we told him about fellow NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp, who announced Tuesday he'll be donating his brain for concussion research.

Elway's reaction: "Okay, I'll donate mine too."

It would be huge for a high profile NFL star like Elway -- who also runs the Broncos -- to actually pledge his brain to a CTE study ... but when you watch the clip, it doesn't seem like he's too serious about it.

Then again, maybe he is.

Manchester born and raised Denver Broncos tackle Menelik Watson says the scumbag terrorists who attacked his home city are only gonna make Manchester stronger.

Watson -- who was drafted in the 2nd round of the '13 draft, and plays tackle for the Broncos -- was visibly shaken when we spoke to him ... saying "this one hurts a lot."

Despite the pain Watson and others from the city are feeling, he says Manchester is a tough place that won't be broken ... and will instead "band together."

"Scumbags want to impose their will on people through terror, and it doesn't work. It never works. The city of Manchester will only get stronger from this."

Garett Bolles is taking a page out of Kendrick Lamar's book and keepin' humble despite a huge NFL contract waiting for him ... saying he still plans to keep driving a Honda minivan to work every day.

TMZ Sports spoke with Bolles before the Denver Broncos took him with the 20th pick in the draft Thursday ... and he made it clear that he's not fazed by the extra 0s in his bank account.

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall almost got TRUCKED by an elephant in Mozambique ... and the whole thing was caught on video.

The NFL star is on safari in Africa with fellow football players William Gay, Duke Ihenacho, Omar Bolden, Mike Adams and more.

During a day out in the bush, the gang came across a large African elephant -- which was beautiful and majestic -- until it started to charge!!!

Don't worry, it chilled out ... but Marshall was shook.

The gang soldiered on and encountered a LION later in the safari.

John Elway says he does NOT believe Colin Kaepernick is being blackballed by the NFL over his national anthem protests ... but says he's not really sure if the QB can still compete in the league.

Elway is the GM and executive vice president of football operations for the Denver Broncos -- a team that could use a QB right now -- but when it comes to Kaep, Elway says he hasn't been studying up.

When we asked if Kaep could still play, John replied -- "I don't know. I haven't been close enough to him to be able to tell."

Denver Broncos Pro Bowler C.J. Anderson -- who signed a 4-year, $18 million contract last year -- is finally spending some of that dough by taking his family to Hawaii ... on a private jet!!!

The running back tells TMZ Sports he's always dreamed about sharing his good fortune with the ones he loves ... and now that he's got the time and money, he made it happen!

The Super Bowl 50 champ brought 12 people to Honolulu -- all expenses paid -- for some sun, fun and helicopter rides!

C.J. says he was inspired by LeBron James ... who's always treating his family to the finer things.

“My mom and grandmother deserve it. All the things they have done for me, this trip was for them. I’m excited I can use my money in a positive way.”

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders turned 30 with a bang ... turning all the way up with Rick Ross and boxing superstar Danny Garcia at one of the hottest nightclubs in Miami.

Both guys were up in VIP (Garcia was celebrating his 29th bday) at LIV nightclub ... while Ross, Wale and Meek Mill performed for Rick's album release party.

9:02 AM PT -- Sources connected to the investigation tell us 2 Patriots jerseys and 1 Broncos helmet were recovered in Mexico.

The Broncos helmet is likely that of Von Miller, as Jay Glazer reported.

We're told no cleats have been recovered ... at least not yet.

Glazer said Miller's cleats also went M.I.A. after Super Bowl 50. Unclear if it's connected to this investigation.

The man who jacked Tom Brady's Super Bowl jerseys may have ALSO stolen Von Miller's helmet and cleats from Super Bowl 50 ... so says Jay Glazer.

Glazer appeared on "Undisputed" on FS1 and said investigators used video footage to identify the suspect in the Super Bowl 51 caper.

Glazer says investigators saw the suspect enter the locker room behind Bill Belichick and leave a short time later with something tucked under his arm.

Glazer says the suspect had a legitimate media credential -- but may not be a real journalist. He may have been running a scam.

And get this ... Glazer says the Denver Broncos believe the suspect hit Von Miller in the previous Super Bowl.
