Charlie Sheen's New TV Show 'Anger Management'
Charlie Sheen's new TV show will be based on the movie "Anger Management"and Charlie will be playing the Jack Nicholson character ... TMZ has learned.
Sources directly involved in the project say the man who is making it all happen is uber-producer Joe Roth, who produced and owns the screenplay to the 2003 movie, "Anger Management."
We're told Charlie's character will stray a bit from the movie role. The plan as of now -- Charlie's character will be an ex-jock who got his master's degree in social work during the offseason. He becomes a counselor to defendants in the criminal justice system with anger management problems. But, of course, Charlie's character will have anger issues of his own.
We're told the deal with Lionsgate is not done, but is in the final stages of negotiations. And we're told, there is no deal with a network to air the show -- at least not yet.
Roth has worked with Charlie on 5 projects, including "Major League," "Young Guns" and "Three Musketeers."

Charlie Sheen MAJOR Clue About New Sitcom
Charlie Sheen just shed some serious light on his new mystery TV project ... saying the premise of the show will be based on a BIGTIME movie produced by a BIGTIME movie producer.
Sheen was in Beverly Hills yesterday when a photog asked for clues about the new show -- and Charlie responded, "I don't want to piss Joe Roth off ... it's a movie he produced a few years ago. I don't know if i was supposed to say anything."
Roth has produced a TON of HUGE flicks ... including, "Major League" ... "Alice In Wonderland" ... and "Young Guns."
Sheen added, "Look through his films and you'll see which one makes the most sense ... and it's not "Coup de Ville."
The photog asked for another clue -- the initials of the movie -- and Charlie responded "A.M."
We couldn't find a flick Roth produced with those initials ... but he did produce the "Jerky Boys" movie from back in the day. Prank call show anyone?

Maria Shriver: Thanks For The Offers, but No Thanks
Sources connected with various broadcast and cable networks tell TMZ ... Maria Shriver has been deluged with offers to go back on the air, but she's turning them all down flat ... at least for now.
Maria has been getting offers to host talk shows, anchor news magazine shows and join news organizations, but she made it clear she does not want a time-consuming job that will take her away from her responsibilities as a mom.
We're told all of the usual suspects on broadcast and cable are trying to snag an interview with Maria, but she has no interest. We're told Maria has "a special place in her heart for Oprah" and if she ends up doing anything it will probably be with her.
Bottom line ... Maria doesn't want a full-time job now -- and with a settlement that could approach $200 million, she doesn't need it.

Soap Star's Charities -- Where's the Money???
"All My Children" star Jack Scalia raised more than $100,000 for victims of 9/11 and military vets -- but now Scalia reportedly doesn't know where the money went ... and the IRS is hot on his tail.
Scalia promoted two charities, says the NY Post -- one called 9-11-01 Lest We Forget, the other, Operation American Spirit. According to the paper, the 9/11 charity had its tax-exempt status yanked by the IRS because it didn't file a single tax return.
California authorities have issues with the other charity and its operation has been suspended because of "lapses" in paying taxes and fees.
Scalia -- who participated in a bike ride for one of the charities -- filed for bankruptcy in 2004. He told the Post, "I was riding my bike and being the spokesperson. I don't know that end of it."
