Gary Busey Drama on Horror Movie Set
Gary Busey is at the center of a new controversy after a woman allegedly complained about the actor's behavior on the set of his new horror movie.
Sources connected with the upcoming movie "Mansion of Blood" tell us, Gary had simply become too difficult to work with -- and was booted from the production after a woman on set complained about inappropriate comments Gary made.
According to sources, Gary had already finished shooting about half of his scenes -- so the script was rewritten ... and another actor filled in to shoot the rest.
Gary's rep tells us, "The situation was plagued by contractual issues and misunderstandings from the outset. Gary considers this episode concluded and has no further comment on the matter."
We contacted producers ... who DENY Gary was fired ... telling us, "Mr. Busey remains in the cast of the movie" ... and insist Gary has "committed no improper acts in connection with his role in the movie."

Mystery Settlement in 'Hangover 2' Tattoo Lawsuit
Ed Helms' face tattoo will remain permanent after all ... now that the studio behind "Hangover 2" has struck a settlement with the artist who claims he owns the copyright to the famous design.
Warner Bros. just announced it has "amicably resolved" its dispute with tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill -- the guy who put the original face tat on Mike Tyson.
Whitmill sued the studio back in April -- claiming WB never asked for permission before they slapped his work on Ed's face ... a gag that proved to be a HUGE plot point in the movie.
The terms of the deal are confidential -- but due to the fact that WB was going to have to digitally alter the tat on Ed's face for the DVD version of the flick if the two sides couldn't reach an agreement, we're guessing Mr. Whitmill's design didn't come cheap.

'Jersey Shore' Cast Squeezing MTV For More $$$
The "Jersey Shore" cast has put the screws to MTV for a FIFTH TIME -- negotiating new contracts for an upcoming season back in New Jersey ... and we're told, they locked down their biggest salaries yet.
Plans are already in motion for a fifth season back in Seaside Heights -- but sources connected with the "Jersey" cast tell TMZ ... Pauly D, Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the gang refused to take part without signing new contracts first.
We're told MTV originally planned to shoot the new season under the terms of the Season 4 contracts -- but lawyers for the cast refused ... so MTV drew up new papers.
We're told the majority of the cast has already re-signed for a bump in salary -- not a HUGE raise, but still significant -- and the rest will sign this week.
The cast is scheduled to fly back from Italy on the 23rd -- and start shooting the new season in Jersey on the 26th. 495 Productions has not returned calls, and MTV had no comment.

HBO 'Spector' Director Warned -- Don't Glorify a Killer!
David Mamet -- the guy directing the upcoming HBO flick about Phil Spector -- ignited a firestorm after publicly claiming Spector is innocent of murder ... and now the victim's friends are horrified that Phil "will be portrayed with some kind of sympathy."
Friends of late actress Lana Clarkson were FURIOUS this week when Mamet told the Financial Times, "I don't think [Spector] is guilty. I definitely think there is reasonable doubt ... they should never have sent him away ... If he'd just been a regular citizen, they never would have indicted him."
Now, Clarkson's friends have banded together -- and have fired off a letter to the director, claiming his comments were "mind-boggling and wrong in so many ways."
According to the letter, obtained by TMZ, the group's main concern is that "the loathsome, lying, gun-abusing convicted murderer of our friend Lana Clarkson will be portrayed with some kind of sympathy."
Lana's friends want to remind Mamet -- whose upcoming film stars Al Pacino and Bette Midler -- that Spector was CONVICTED by a jury of his peers ... and plead, "Please refrain from rewriting history for 'creative license.'"
Spector is currently serving 19 years to life in prison for murdering Lana in 2003.

Mel Gibson Sued In Recycled Rubber Dispute
Mel Gibson is being sued by a man who claims Mel cajoled him to put his life savings in a newfangled technology to recycle tires ... the guy lost it all and now claims Mel is swindling him.
Nader Sherif met Mel at a dinner party in 2007. According to the lawsuit, Nader claims Mel started jawboning him about a Malaysian company called Green Rubber, which developed a technology to devulcanize rubber so old tires could be recycled.
Sherif claims Mel tried convincing him to invest $200,000 in the company -- his entire life savings. Sherif says he was resistant, but someone from the company who was present at the dinner assured him the company would re-purchase Sherif's stock for the full face value whenever Sherif wanted.
But Sherif was still uneasy, telling Mel he had just had a child and could not afford to lose money. Sherif alleges Mel -- who is a "significant investor" in the company -- then told him if the company wouldn't make good, Mel would buy the shares from Sherif for the full $200,000.
Short story -- Sherif was going through hard financial times and wanted Green Rubber to buy his stock back. Sherif claims the company repeatedly refused to do so, and he then went to Mel, who allegedly ignored his demand.
Sherif is suing for $200,000 plus interest. We could not reach Mel's rep for comment.
Here's a video of Mel back in 2008 -- presenting an award to the CEO of Green Rubber at the Global Green Sustainable Design Awards.

Round 1 In 'Men' Lawsuit Goes to Warner Bros.
Charlie Sheen didnt' get what he wanted from the judge in his "Two and a Half Men" lawsuit against Warner Bros., because a judge would not rule that he's entitled to a public court trial. But Charlie may get a second bite of the apple.
Charlie is suing Warner Bros. for $100,000,000 claiming the studio had no right to 86 him from the show.
Charlie wanted the judge to rule the arbitration clause in his contract -- which says the dispute would be handled privately, behind closed doors -- is invalid. But the judge said the arbitration agreement is indeed valid, but left it to the arbitrator to decide if the matter would be resolved in private or in a public courtroom. So Charlie can press his request for a public trial to the arbitrator.
A Warner Bros. rep tells TMZ, "We're very gratified by the court's ruling enforcing the parties' arbitration agreement."
