Katie Holmes shared a touching tribute to her late, "Dawson's Creek" costar Obi Ndefo.
The "Dawson's Creek" actress took to Instagram to share some kind words about her time acting alongside Obi, writing ... "He was wonderful to work with and such a kind man. I send prayers and grace to his family. Rest in Peace."
As we previously reported ... Obi died at the age of 51, his sister Nkem Ndefo announced on Facebook Saturday.
Obi Ndefo, an actor best known for playing Bodie Wells on "Dawson's Creek" has died ... according to a Facebook post from his sister.
Nkem Ndefo shared the tragic news Saturday ... saying she was heartbroken at the death of her younger brother -- and hoped he'd finally found peace. She did not share a cause of death.
Obi got his start in Hollywood back in the mid-'90s appearing in bit roles on shows like "Star Trek: Voyager," "3rd Rock From the Sun" and "Angel" ... before getting his big break on "Dawson's Creek."

Notice both sported a beanie and comfy-wear as they chatted, smiled and seemingly enjoyed each other's company.
Of course, the new photos are a far cry from the couple's grocery run back in Los Angeles earlier in the week.
The duo drove up to an Erewhon grocery store in Josh's car while Lupita tried her best to hide in the passenger's seat. From there, each entered and exited the store separately before getting back in Josh's car and taking off.
It was back in October when Josh and Lupita were spotted together at a concert in Los Angeles. At the time, Lupita was still publicly with her boyfriend, Sal Masekela -- she quickly deleted pics with Sal from her Instagram after the concert photos surfaced -- before eventually announcing they had split.

While the pair have yet to confirm their relationship, their shenanigans suggest their relationship is beyond friendship.

The British actress/model cites the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce. According to the docs, filed by disso queen Laura Wasser, Jodie is asking for joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Juno.
Jodie wants to take spousal support off the table for both her and Joshua.
There's no prenup in place.
The date of separation is September 13.
Jodie and Joshua met during his 2018 birthday bash and their relationship was immediately fast-tracked ... they got engaged just months later.

The Wright Bros. National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, NC will be shut down to the public this week as Florence -- currently a category 4 storm -- barrels toward the Carolinas and Virginia. The memorial sits on the Outer Banks, and is directly in the hurricane's path ... so on Monday they shut down all operations to, as they say, batten down the hatches.
Florence's timing really sucks -- the memorial was supposed to get a replica Monday of the 1st plane Orville and Wilbur flew. That delivery was postponed for fear it would be damaged when the storm hits.
Nicholas Sparks fans will recognize the Outer Banks Inn from 2008's "Nights in Rodanthe." Yes, the place where Gere and Diane Lane banged a lot. The owners, Ben and Debbie Huss, are boarding up and getting outta Dodge -- but tell us they expect their famous house to mostly hold up to Florence.
That's a tall order with winds expected to reach up to 156 mph.
