Nikki Bella admitted she and Artem Chigvintsev struggled with communicating ... saying back in 2021 she and her husband went to couples therapy because of how he spoke to her.

The former WWE star opened up about jumping on the therapist's couch with the pro dancer during an episode of Kaitlyn Bristowe's podcast "Off the Vine" back in 2021 ... after Bristowe revealed she didn't know if Artem liked her on "Dancing with the Stars."

Kaitlyn won 'DWTS' alongside Artem in 2020 -- but she says she didn't know how Artem felt about her because of the way he spoke to her ... and Nikki details a similar experience, saying she nearly quit because of his demeanor.

8:25 AM PT -- Nikki Bella's rep tells TMZ, "This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time."

Artem Chigvintsev -- now accused of felony domestic violence -- himself called 911 after he allegedly battered someone in his home ... and minutes later he called back and told 911 never mind ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ reported, Artem was arrested Thursday morning in Napa, California, where he lives with his wife, Nikki Garcia (aka Nikki Bella).

3:01 PM PT -- According to county records, Artem Chigvintsev was released at 2:18 PM PT.

We now know how the alarm was sounded when someone at Artem Chigvintsev's home called 911.

Sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ ... a call came in around 8:30 AM, reporting a "medical emergency" at the home. It's unclear who made the call.

Stephen Nedoroscik is trading in the pommel horse for the dance floor ... the bronze medalist was just announced as one of the contestants on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars!

Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert will share the spotlight soon enough ... 'cause she's medically cleared to start touring once again.

The nimble couple revealed the good news on Hayley's Instagram story Friday ... telling their army of fans she's ready to pirouette once more -- hopping back onstage officially April 14 in Florida.

And, she looks completely back to her old self if another video she posted is any indication ... 'cause it seems she's already back to rehearsals with the tour company.

Derek Hough's wife, Hayley Erbert, appears to be feeling a whole lot better after her terrifying health scare ... because she's back on the dance floor!

The couple each posted a tender photo on their Instagram accounts Wednesday, showing Derek standing alongside Hayley in a dance studio with his arm around her. Hayley's head is resting on the shoulder of the popular "Dancing With The Stars" judge.

Their captions read, "Stepping onto this blank canvas together. Beginning to paint again."

The sweet image marked three months since Derek publicly announced that Hayley was recovering from brain surgery after she became disorientated following a dance performance and was rushed to a Washington D.C. hospital.

In his IG statement back then ... Derek said Hayley had a "long road of recovery" after she suffered a cranial hematoma, requiring and an emergency craniectomy.

What that means is blood forms within brain tissue or below the skull, putting pressure on the cranium. This is usually caused by a blood vessel that bursts in the brain due to head trauma, possibly leading to death.

All that sounds pretty bad ... but it seems as if Hayley – a pro dancer -- has bounced back and might be ready to boogie down again.

"Dancing With the Stars" pro Gleb Savchenko is trading his ballroom shoes for a bowtie and cuffs ... because he's joining Chippendales as the latest guest host with the male revue.

Our sources tell us Gleb is gearing up for a limited engagement with the legendary Chippendales hunks ... joining the guys onstage for 3 weeks of performances at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

We're told Gleb will be doing the Chippendales thing in Sin City from April 25 to May 12 ... and once he gets his feet wet, he's going to hit the road and join the world tour cast for 6 Atlantic City shows in July at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Gleb -- who partnered with Chrishell Stause on 'DWTS' -- says he's thrilled and honored by the opportunity, and it's going to be the first time he's performed in Las Vegas.

Be on the lookout ... our sources say Gleb's a big Patrick Swayze fan, and he's going to bust out some of Patrick's iconic dance moves during his Chippendales run.

Frankly, Gleb checks all the Chippendales boxes here ... he's a tall, dark and handsome dancer with a pretty solid stage presence to boot, so this move makes a lot of sense.

Gleb's joining Chippendales as the show celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, and he's got some big ... shoes to fill as far as celeb guest hosts go.

Derek Hough says his wife, Hayley, is recovering after having brain surgery, but it's gonna take quite a while for her to feel 100 percent again.

In a message posted on Instagram Friday, the "Dancing with the Stars" judge gave an update to his fans on Hayley's situation, pointing out that she has a "long road of recovery" after she suffered a "cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy."

The Mayo Clinic defines an intracranial hematoma as blood that forms within brain tissue or below the skull, putting pressure on the cranium. The condition is usually caused by a blood vessel that bursts in the brain as a result of head trauma.

In his IG post, Derek also talked about how Hayley inspires him with her will and strength and "no more so than in the last 48 hrs,” when she suffered her medical emergency.

On Thursday morning, Hayley became disoriented and was rushed to a D.C. hospital after their "Symphony of Dance" performance the night before.

Derek also gave thanks to his fans for their love and support, explaining, "The offers of assistance that have poured in have been so humbling and appreciated."
