Maksim DROPS Kirstie Alley on 'Dancing'
Yep ... it happened.
Kirstie Alley had to pick herself up off the ground last night after Maksim Chmerkovskiy suffered a "charlie horse" type pain that made his leg give out.
Kirstie eventually forgave Maksim -- tweeting after the show, "I salute u... U r a gladiator .... A champion... I'm honored to be your partner."

Everything went according to plan for Maksim Chmerkovskiy Monday -- because the special plans he organized for a fan dealing with cancer treatments went off without a hitch ... and TMZ has all the details.
TMZ has learned ... Maksim's special guest -- a woman named Lisa -- had a VIP parking spot waiting for her when she arrived to the studio ... and was greeted by the "Dancing" star himself.
Sources connected to Lisa tell us ... she was then treated to a full tour of the backstage area where she met Kendra Wilkinson and Tony Dovolani. In fact, Tony even took Lisa to his trailer to hang out and take pictures!!!
The best part -- Maksim is currently getting every single cast member of the show to sign an official "Dancing with the Stars" t-shirt for Lisa which will be sent to her within the next couple of days.

'Dancing' Star Pulls MAJOR Strings for VIP Guest
Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn't just "making time" for a "Dancing with the Stars" fan who's going through cancer treatment -- he's hooking her up with the experience of a lifetime ... TMZ has learned.
Sources connected to the production tell us Maksim had been furiously trying to set up the perfect evening for a special VIP guest ... asking for front row seats for tonight's show along with special backstage passes ... and now we've learned there's a reason he's so motivated.
We're told a friend of Maksim's informed the dancer about a woman who was having a really tough time with recent cancer treatments -- and she happened to be a fan of the show. So Maksim sprung into action, instantly trying to do everything he could to help get her mind off the pain.
Of course, Maksim came through -- and the woman is all set for a night she'll never forget.
Amazing how some people find time for the things that matter.

'Dancing' Fans: CANCEL Chris Brown's Performance!
Chris Brown's "GMA" meltdown this morning pissed off a HORDE of "Dancing with the Stars" fans -- and now they're demanding that ABC cancel the singer's performance on the show next week.
Chris was scheduled to perform on "Dancing" TWICE during the elimination episode next Tuesday -- but fans of the show are rallying online to make sure that doesn't happen ... overtaking the official "DWTS" message board on ABC.com.
Several users plead openly for ABC to cancel Chris' performance after the singer's outburst this morning -- writing messages like, "Please do not allow him to perform on Dancing with the Stars! I will NOT be watching going forward if you do this."
But it doesn't stop there ... some fans are even contacting ABC directly via email to thwart Chris' performance -- in fact, another person writes, "I just sent an e-mail to ABC about him performing. I truly hope they cancel his appearance."
So we gotta ask ...

State Senator's GF Arrested After "DWTS" Charity Event
Arizona state senator Scott Bundgaard claims he got into a fight with his girlfriend after she became jealous of his dance routine at a "Dancing With the Stars" charity event.
Sen. Bundgaard claims his girlfriend, Aubry Ballard, punched him and tried throwing his things out of his car during the drive home after the event. According to Bungaard, she accused him of "inappropriately touching" his partner during the event, which benefited the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona.
Police arrived on scene to find Bundgaard trying to remove Ballard from the car, which was pulled over on the side of the road.
According to police, both had marks on them -- but only Ballard was arrested because of an Arizona state law that gives him immunity from arrest while the legislature is in session.
According to a police spokesman, Bundgaard could eventually face charges from the city attorney.
Al Sharpton Rejects 'Dancing w/ the Stars' -- Again!!
Rev. Al Sharpton just turned down ANOTHER offer to join "Dancing with the Stars" ... but not because he's scared of the competition -- in fact, Al insists, "I've got moves ... I'D BLOW 'EM OUT!!"
The Rev claims he just doesn't have the time due to his commitments with the National Action Network -- but wants to make one thing clear ... "There would be no chance for anybody to touch me!"

Lorenzo and Donna D -- Campaigning for 'DWTS'
Some celebrities might try and play hard to get when it comes to trying to get a spot on the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars" -- Lorenzo Lamas and Donna D'Errico are not those celebs.
As TMZ first reported, Lamas and D'Errico are both "in talks" to do "DWTS," but so far nothing is locked down. The "DWTS" website is taking viewer suggestions for who should make the cast ... and when he caught with them outside the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills yesterday, they each took turns lobbying to get on the show.
A little subtlety might work.

"Dancing with the Stars" execs are currently locked in negotiations to bring a "Renegade" and a "Baywatch" babe to the ballroom next season ... TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the show tell us Lorenzo Lamas and Donna D'Errico have been contacted by the DWTS people ... and are "in talks" about a possible deal.
We're told nothing is in stone yet -- but we're hearing both Lorenzo and Donna have "serious interest" in doing the show.
Meanwhile, ABC is already soliciting casting ideas on their website -- and we're told DWTS staff is actually paying attention to the answers.

Bristol to Margaret Cho: Here's a Gay Joke ...
Someone needs to keep the Palin girls off Facebook -- this time it's Bristol posting an open letter to her "Dancing With the Stars" co-star Margaret Cho ... and making a gay "joke" at Margaret's expense.
Bristol responded to a blog Cho wrote this week that suggested Sarah Palin made Bristol do "DWTS" -- and that Sarah "harshly and openly" blames Bristol for costing her the election.
In Bristol's new post, which she wrote last night, she made her point in a few decently-worded paragraphs, but then decided to end things by saying that if Margaret understood conservative politics better, she "would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert."
But Bristol did say she's willing to let Cho babysit Tripp, so there's that.
