Kim Kardashian is thrilled the Menendez bros have a shot at freedom, and she's singling out Ryan Murphy as a judicial influencer who got the D.A. to act.

Fact is ... there was a hearing set for Erik and Lyle Menendez to make their case long before Murphy's 'Monsters' dropped on Netflix. But L.A. County D.A. George Gascón did make a point that he accelerated the process because of public interest in the wake of the documentary -- presumably he's referring to the Paramount doc.

As for Kim, she was effusive ... "Thank you, George Gascon, for revisiting the Menendez brothers' case and righting a significant wrong."

Federal agents swooped in and arrested 5 men in connection to the August 2022 shooting in Los Angeles that killed Quando Rondo's cousin ... and now they're being charged with conspiracy to commit murder for hire in retaliation for King Von's death!!!

Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was wounded during a shooting last week in Denver, the team announced on Thursday.

Kamala Harris' motorcade played a pivotal role in a suspected drunk driver getting taken into custody in Wisconsin this week.

U.S. Secret Service spokesperson Joe Biesk confirmed the Vice President's motorcade was involved in an incident Monday night in Milwaukee, where a motorist was "traveling in the opposite direction on the highway" ... driving toward the Presidential hopeful.

The incident was caught on video. Check it out ... you can see the driver getting much too close for comfort to Harris' motorcade while driving on the wrong side of the road.

Former Super Bowl champion Derrick Ward will not spend time in prison over allegations he robbed L.A.-area businesses ... TMZ Sports has learned he's been placed on mental health diversion instead.

Court records show a judge ordered Ward to enroll in the program at a hearing back on Oct. 10.

Ward, according to court documents, will now have to comply with any mental health treatment recommendations from "Find Your Balance Center" and "Brain Health USA Center" for a period of two years.
