Busta Rhymes is urging people to take a chill pill reacting to the ongoing Diddy legal saga ... they're affecting the court of public opinion in the worst way possible!!!

The veteran rapper was at the premiere for "Venom: The Last Dance" and defended Diddy to Extra, within reason ... Busta's not feeling the snap judgment and jokes regarding Diddy's sex trafficking charges -- but is all for prosecution if there's any truth to the allegations!!!

Busta says the truth needs time to surface, and everyone should fall back until then ... because he's seeing a lot of thirst on his timeline with everyone interjecting their 2 cents!!!

Diddy's reputation is so toxic nowadays, no one in Hollywood wants to be associated with him -- and any celebs linked to his parties or allegations will likely pay up to avoid being named in a lawsuit ... so says an expert in crisis public relations.

Evan Nierman, CEO of crisis PR firm Red Banyan, joined us Monday on "TMZ Live," and we asked what his advice would be to the celebs in danger of being named as defendants alongside Diddy in civil lawsuits.

One of the latest lawsuits against Diddy references two unnamed celebrities, and Evan says those famous people, whoever they are, would be wise to cut a check to the plaintiffs and their attorney Tony Buzbee ... to avoid having their names linked to Diddy.

The Ravens fan who was caught on video brutally attacking two Washington Commanders supporters has turned himself in to Baltimore cops ... after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

24-year-old John Callis, wearing a button-up shirt, turned himself in to police Monday morning ... where he was seen being led away in handcuffs.

FYI, last week cops told us Callis was wanted for first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault.

Donald Trump is getting called out in court for allegedly lying in the middle of the last presidential debate -- not about politics or Kamala Harris, but about the "Central Park Five."

The 5 men who were wrongly accused of a violent series of attacks in Central Park back in 1989 are taking issue with something Trump said on Sept. 10 in Philadelphia, during the debate with Harris.

Diddy says federal prosecutors are making it impossible for him to mount a defense, because they refuse to give up the names of his accusers in the criminal case against him.

Diddy's legal team filed new docs Tuesday asking a federal judge to direct the U.S. Attorney's Office to identify the anonymous alleged victims referred to in the indictment ... so, he can specifically address the allegation he "abused, threatened and coerced" women, and others, to satisfy his sexual desires.

In the docs, Diddy says once the names are revealed, he believes there will be "voluminous evidence" the interactions with the alleged victims were consensual. He wants the feds to be more specific about who exactly is claiming non-consensual acts.

Georgetown University's women's basketball team is catching flak for honoring a former player who was fatally shot by a police officer who she slashed with a knife.

The Hoyas' official X account posted a tribute to ex-player Sydney Wilson, mourning her "tragic loss" last month ... but now the post is drawing criticism because newly released police body cam footage shows her attacking the cop -- cutting his face -- before he shoots and kills her.

The tribute post has been on the Georgetown women's basketball team's X page since September 20. Sydney, who played for GU from 2009 to 2013, died Sept. 16 in the police shooting -- and the video of the fatal altercation was just released Monday.

Paula Abdul is fabricating new details of an alleged sexual assault she claims her former "American Idol" boss Nigel Lythgoe committed ... according to new docs he's filed in their ongoing battle.

The former 'Idol' and "So You Think You Can Dance" EP filed docs Tuesday, calling out Paula's memory of an alleged 2015 incident in Las Vegas. As we first reported, Paula initially claimed she witnessed Nigel groping her assistant during a 'SYTYCD' shoot ... which Nigel denied when Paula first filed her lawsuit last December.

But Nigel's raising an eyebrow at the fact Paula's story changed 9 months later when she filed an amended lawsuit ... accusing him of also sexually assaulting Paula in Vegas. She claims after the assistant rejected him, Nigel touched Paula's "buttocks, hips, waist and her breasts" and also tried to kiss her on the neck.
