Scary moment for Sarah Hyland -- cops say her home recently got hit by intruders after she says she saw a couple men in masks leaving on her security cameras.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the "Modern Family" star's Los Angeles area home was burglarized last Saturday night -- right around sunset, mind you, while it was still daylight out -- and the suspects ended up smashing a glass window to gain entry into her crib.

Luckily, our sources tell us Sarah was out of town at the time of the incident -- but she was still involved. We're told she actually ended up seeing the dudes who broke in with her own eyes.

Americans who lost family members in the 9/11 attacks are feeling betrayed by their own government because of a plea deal for the accused terrorists ... a total slap in the face, so says a prominent victim organization.

Brett Eagleson -- the president of 9/11 Justice, an organization representing 9/11 survivors and relatives of victims -- tells TMZ ... the feds did not loop them in or consult them before the shocking pre-trial agreement, and he says it's upsetting for a number of reasons.

For Brett, who lost his father in the terrorist attack 23 years ago, the deal is absolutely awful for these 9/11 families ... whom he says wanted to see the accused face the music in court.

A fundraiser for the families of the 3 young girls who died at the Taylor Swift-themed dance party in Southport, England is picking up some major steam -- hitting almost half a million bucks.

Cristina Jones and Holly Goldring from the Taylor Swift UK & EU Facebook Group started a Just Giving fundraiser that’s blown their OG goal of £13,000 ($16,555) out of the water, with £342,867 ($436,623) raised so far at the time of writing.

The proceeds are going to Alder Hey Children’s Charity to help pay for the girls’ funerals -- and in an IG statement shared by Holly, the charity brought Taylor into the mix ... thanking fans for channeling the spirit of her music and turning their empathy into action.

Three accused terrorists -- including the alleged mastermind behind 9/11 -- just cut a deal with federal prosecutors to avoid a potential death penalty ... tying up a years-long saga.

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed as well as two of his alleged accomplices -- Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak bin Attash and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al-Hawsawi -- have agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy charges as it pertains to the 2001 attacks ... and instead of a lengthy death penalty trial ... they'll just serve life sentences.

These guys have been held at Guantanamo Bay since 2006 -- first being held at secret CIA prisons -- and there's been years of proceedings to have them face the many charges over the deaths of thousands of Americans.

Tampa police feel like they're on the right track to solving rapper Julio Foolio's murder ... 3 people were arrested in connection with the deadly shooting and cops say they're closing in on 2 more!!!

On Monday, Tampa PD held a press conference announcing the arrests of and first-degree murder charges for Isaiah Chance, Alicia Andrews and Sean Gathright. The suspects were all nabbed in Jacksonville.

Cops also released new footage of the June 23 deadly shooting ... and it shows multiple masked gunmen zipping around the Tampa Holiday Inn parking lot, taking position in bushes and firing dozens of rounds into the vehicle carrying Julio.

Tupac's family is clearly disturbed over an allegation that Diddy may have played a role in the late rapper's murder -- something they're now digging into with a new legal team, who plan to get to the bottom of it, and force action if they find any there-there ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us members of Tupac's still-living relatives have retained attorneys Alex Spiro and Christopher Clore -- as well as a team of investigators -- to look into Keefe D's resurfaced allegation that Diddy offered to pay him and his crew money to take Pac out in the '90s.

Harvey Weinstein is battling a slew of health issues from a prison hospital ... including the coronavirus and pneumonia.

Weinstein has been transferred to Bellevue Hospital Prison Ward in Manhattan, where he's being treated for diabetes, high blood pressure, spinal stenosis and other conditions ... his rep, Juda Engelmayer, confirmed to TMZ.

Weinstein's camp says he's also tested positive for COVID-19 and double pneumonia. The health update was first reported Thursday by NBC News.

The fatal police shooting of Sonya Massey has saddened Solange Knowles like many Americans -- and she's making a nuanced point about this being a regular thing in the U.S.

After taking in the brutal body cam footage that was released this week -- Solange called out America for its historic treatment of Black women ... scoffing at the responding officer's disbelief Sonya had asked not to be hurt right from the get-go when they arrived.

JW said he learned about the facts of the case from his brother ... and felt they had been misled as part of what he characterized as an alleged "cover-up."
