TIFFANY HADDISH VOWS TO GET HELP AFTER BH ARREST ... No More DUIs For Me

Tiffany Haddish is getting serious about her early morning DUI arrest on Friday -- a major shift in tone after briefly responding comically during a stand-up set less than a day later.

In a new interview, the actress admits she needs to "get help" to "learn balance and boundaries" in the aftermath of her second DUI -- the first coming in January 2022 -- vowing "this will never happen again."

The "Girls Trip" star told ET's Kevin Frazier about the events leading up to her arrest ... saying she dozed off in her Tesla after a long Thanksgiving day of feeding underprivileged people and performing at L.A.'s Laugh Factory -- not realizing her vehicle had blocked off a portion of the street after parking itself.

TMZ broke the story as part of Tiffany's arrest unfolded on camera ... with cops throwing her in handcuffs and escorting her to the back of a police car in Beverly Hills ... booking her on suspicion of DUI.

But, less than 24 hours after her stint in a jail cell, the star honored a scheduled gig in Long Beach ... freshening up her set by weaving in a joke inspired by her arrest.

But, despite leaning into comedy to address the bust, afterward, Tiffany steered clear of any more dramas ... opting for the passenger seat instead of driving home after the set.

SYTCH SENTENCED

WWE legend Tammy Sytch has been ordered to spend roughly the next decade and a half in prison for her role in a 2022 car crash that killed a 75-year-old man.

Sytch learned her fate inside of a Volusia County courtroom on Monday morning ... three months after she pled no contest to, among other charges, one felony count of DUI causing death.

Sytch -- wearing an orange jumpsuit and shackles on her wrists -- addressed the courtroom for a few minutes during the hearing, which lasted several hours and featured testimonies from people affiliated with the case, including a medical expert who evaluated the former wrestling personality in the spring.

ADDRESSING THE JUDGE

Sytch broke down in tears during her speech and apologized for her actions. At one point, the 50-year-old also turned to the victim's family and said, "I know my words are not enough but please know that I think about you every day."

When the judge ultimately sentenced her to 17 years in prison, Sytch appeared stoic -- before she was taken out of the courtroom by officials.

Sytch -- also known as "Sunny" in the ring -- has been locked behind bars since May 2022 ... after prosecutors claimed she drunkenly slammed her car into Julian Lasseter's, killing him during a horrific March 2022 crash in Florida.

According to authorities, Sytch barreled into Lasseter while he was stopped at a traffic light. They alleged that at the time of the wreck, she had a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher.

Sytch was hit with eight total charges over the incident ... and, at first, she pled not guilty to all of the charges, though she changed her pleas in August after reaching an agreement with prosecutors.

Following the plea deal, she had been facing a prison sentence of up to 25 years.

The judge also said during Tuesday's proceedings that Sytch will be required to serve 8 years of probation following her prison sentence ... and her driver's license has been permanently revoked.

The case was not the first time Sytch -- who was elected into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 -- had been accused of drinking and driving ... she had previously been arrested at least six times prior for impaired driving.

SYTCH SENTENCIADA

UFC's Sean Strickland Holds Man At Gunpoint ... After Alleged Domestic Violence Incident

LAYIN' DOWN THE LAW
Sean Strickland

Put this guy in the Hall of Fame for (alleged) stupid criminals! First ballot.

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland captured a man fleeing authorities after he was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident ... and it was all captured on surveillance video!

32-year-old Strickland, who became UFC champ after defeating Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 in September, posted video of the incident, along with an explanation of the WILD story.

"The guy was drunk stomping out a girl, a security guard seen it, he jumped in his car and drove off. Security followed him, hit a curb, completely shredded his tire, drove on the rim for awhile then jumped out and tried to hide at my house. I initially thought he was stealing my car," Sean described.

The video shows a man, clearly in a hurry, walking onto Strickland's driveway, before attempting to hide between two parked vehicles.

Another angle then shows Sean walking out of his house and toward the driveway while carrying a handgun. The video then cuts back to the first angle, where Strickland has the man at gunpoint.

The suspect seemingly tries to walk away, while Sean and another man follow closely behind him. Strickland gives the feeling man a shove, sending him to the ground, still at gunpoint.

The UFC champ says the alleged criminal was arrested ... though the charges are unclear.

BURLINGTON, VT Sospechoso arrestado…

Burlington, VT Suspected Arrested ... In Possible Hate Crime Shooting of 3 Palestinians

update

9:45 AM PT -- The suspect accused of shooting three Palestinian men has pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempted murder in the second degree.

Police released a booking photo of Jason Eaton. He's being held without bail.

A Vermont man is now in custody after cops claim he shot 3 Palestinian college students in what might be a possible hate crime ... this as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.

48-year-old Jason Eaton was arrested Sunday near Burlington ... the site of the Saturday night shooting when 3 young men of Palestinian descent were fired upon on the street as they were walking and speaking Arabic and heading to a family dinner.

They've since been identified as Hisham Awartani, Tahseen Ahmad and Kinnan Abdalhamid ... all of whom attend different universities in New England, including Brown.

At least 2 of them were also wearing traditional Keffiyeh scarves ... a garment often worn in Muslim countries. Because of this and the fact they were seemingly attacked without provocation, U.S. officials are saying this might be a hate crime, and the feds are investigating whether that's the case or not.

As for Eaton ... it's unclear what charges, exactly, he's facing at this point -- but he's due to be arraigned Monday. When announcing his arrest, law enforcement cited "three incidents of aggravated assault."

He's said to be a local resident of the area, and reportedly doesn't live far from the shooting.

Derek Chauvin Family Slams Prison Officials ... Why'd We Have to Learn About Stabbing From Media?

Derek Chauvin's family is angry they learned from the media their imprisoned son was stabbed and not from prison officials.

Carolyn Pawlenty, the mother of the cop who murdered George Floyd, told Alpha News, "How the hell do these news agencies know and his own mother doesn't even know?" She adds the prison had an emergency contact number -- her number -- but no one called.

She went on ... “I can’t even think what to say. I haven’t been to bed and made a path in my kitchen and living room floor by pacing."

Chauvin’s attorney, Bill Mohrman, says he got involved and tried calling the prison for information but hasn't heard back.

And another Chauvin lawyer, Gregory M. Erickson, slammed prison officials for its radio silence ... “It appears to be indicative of a poorly run facility and indicates how Derek’s assault was allowed to happen.”

Erickson added, “How the family members who are in charge of Derek’s decisions regarding his personal medical care and his emergency contact were not informed after his stabbing further indicates the institution’s poor procedures and lack of institutional control.”

As we reported ... Chauvin was stabbed in the federal prison in Arizona where he is currently serving a nearly 21-year sentence after pleading guilty to a federal charge of violating Floyd's civil rights.

Chauvin is in stable condition after he was assaulted Friday at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson. The stabbing was reportedly carried out by another inmate.

Prison doctors performed "life-saving" measures on Chauvin. There have been no updates on his condition.

CHUCK LORRE 'TWO AND A HALF MEN' CREATOR Blew a Fuse ... L.A. Home Hit By Would-Be Burglars

Chuck Lorre -- the iconic television producer behind "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory," & more -- had some unscripted drama go down at his Los Angeles-area crib earlier this month ... according to law enforcement.

They tell TMZ that cops responded to Chuck's home after his security alarm went off -- and upon arrival, found broken glass, signaling the would-be burglar's attempts to enter the abode through a window or glass door.

Police scoped out the home and surrounding area ... and while they found no suspects, they found plenty of evidence of an attempted burglary, including a tampered fuse box. Luckily, there wasn't a big bang.

We're also told that Chuck wasn't home at the time .... and it's believed the sound of the alarm scared off the thieves.

In a major plot twist ... we're also told that a week and a half later there was another alarm call to the same home ... as well as one in September.

It's unknown whether they were scoping out Chuck's home or trying to come back to finish the job.

We're told LAPD took an attempted burglary report and is investigating ... and so far, no arrests have been made.

Tiffany Haddish Hits Laugh Factory Again After DUI ... Gets Ride Home This Time!!!

Tiffany Haddish had a busy Friday -- she was in a jail cell in the AM, and was back to joking in front of a crowd about 12 hours later ... but there was a big difference for night #2.

Check out these pics of TH leaving the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, CA late Friday night ... where she was scheduled to perform just a day after hitting the Los Angeles location and getting busted for DUI the following morning.

Doesn't look like she let a little thing like an arrest deter her from hitting the stage ... 'cause this is her leaving the venue after her set, and she was riding in the backseat with a pal.

We have no idea who this fella is ... but he and Tiff seemed to having a ball back there.

In any case, it's good to see she learned her lesson from earlier in the day -- when cops threw her in handcuffs and into the back of a police cruiser in Beverly Hills ... booking her on suspicion of DUI, this after they apparently found her asleep at the wheel while parked.

It marks Tiffany's second DUI in about a year -- remember, she'd been arrested for another DUI out in Georgia back in 2022 and is supposed to be going to trial soon to fight it.

Now, as for how this 2nd night at the Laugh Factory went in terms of laughs/crowd reception ... no word on that yet. We haven't been able to find any reviews of how good her set was, but considering LB is L.A.-adjacent -- ya gotta imagine she touched on the new DUI.

Like we said, the fact she was brave enough to get back up there after a legal setback like that is telling -- Tiff seems to see her gigs through and through, regardless of circumstance.

TH hasn't addressed the arrest publicly, but she might've vented to the audience last night. Time will tell if this latest DUI bust sticks or not ... CA's pretty strict on that kind of stuff.

We covered it all on the latest episode of The TMZ Podcast, available on all podcast platforms.

Derek Chauvin George Floyd Cop Stabbed In Prison ... Hospitalized In Stable Condition

Infamous ex-cop Derek Chauvin -- who was convicted of murdering George Floyd in Minneapolis -- was stabbed in federal prison and rushed to a hospital, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, TMZ has confirmed.

A rep for Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison tells TMZ ... Chauvin was listed in stable condition after he was assaulted Friday at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson, Arizona.

In a statement, Ellison said, "I am sad to hear that Derek Chauvin was the target of violence. He was duly convicted of his crimes and, like any incarcerated individual, he should be able to serve his sentence without fear of retaliation or violence."

Ellison prosecuted Chauvin in the state murder case after Floyd's 2020 death.

The Bureau of Prisons also issued a statement without naming Chauvin, saying an "incarcerated person" was attacked at the prison around 12:30 PM yesterday. It was unclear who the suspect was, but the Associated Press reported it was another inmate.

Prison staff responded and brought the situation under control while performing "life-saving measures" on the victim, the BOP said, adding that no employees were injured.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where doctors were treating and evaluating him.

As we previously reported, Chauvin was convicted of Floyd's slaying in a Minnesota state court and sentenced to more than 22 years in prison. He also pleaded guilty to a separate federal charge of violating Floyd's civil rights and was given a 20-year term, which he's currently serving at the Arizona prison.

The murder of Floyd was recorded on cell phone video, which was circulated around the world, shocking the public consciousness.

The disturbing nine-and-a-half-minute clip showed Chauvin pressing his knee against the neck of Floyd as he lay helpless on the ground in Minneapolis. Floyd repeatedly cried out that he couldn't breathe, but Chauvin refused to take away his knee until it was too late.

Chauvin was originally called to the scene after Floyd was suspected of passing phony bills at a nearby convenience store. A 19-year veteran officer, Chauvin was fired from the Minneapolis PD following the Floyd murder.
