NFL's Marquise Brown Pleads Guilty In Speeding Case ... After Cops Say He Did 126 MPH In A 65
Marquise Brown pleaded guilty to an excessive speeding charge on Wednesday ... six months after cops accused the NFL star of going 126 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
The Cardinals receiver showed up to an Arizona courtroom to enter the plea ... and you can see in video of the hearing, obtained by TMZ Sports, he was wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants for the proceedings.
He didn't speak much while in court, though he and his attorney did tell the judge he was changing his initial plea of not guilty and pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of excessive speed.
Brown is now facing a fine of up to $500, 30 days in jail, and/or 1 year probation as punishment. He'll learn his fate at a sentencing hearing next month.
The 25-year-old was initially pulled over on Aug. 3, 2022 ... after cops say they caught him going 61 MPH over the speed limit in a 2020 Mercedes on a highway in Maricopa County.
Brown was arrested and booked into jail.
At practice in the days after the incident, Brown apologized for his actions ... calling them "disappointing."
Brown went on to have an up-and-down year for the Cards ... logging 709 receiving yards and 3 TDs in 10 games while battling through a foot injury.

Kelly Clarkson ALLEGED STALKER Hit with 6 Charges ... Serious Jail Time Possible

Kelly Clarkson's alleged stalker is now facing a slew of criminal charges after the singer claimed the woman keeps showing up at her home ... even with a restraining order against her.
The L.A. City Attorney's Office tells TMZ ... Huguette Nicole Young was charged last month with one count of stalking, four counts of violating a protective order, and one count of trespassing.
We're told Young pled not guilty and bail was set at $26,000 ... with the court ordering Young to stay the hell away from Kelly, which, frankly, hasn't seemed to work very well in the past.
TMZ broke the story ... Kelly previously got a restraining order against Young, but the woman has since been accused of violating the terms of the restraining order a bunch of times.
As we first told you, Young was busted outside Kelly's San Fernando Valley mansion Jan. 25 after Clarkson's security called 911 after cameras appeared to show the woman meandering around the singer's property. Police raced to the scene and arrested her.
It's super strange ... Clarkson claimed Young was repeatedly showing up to her property at exactly 8:59 PM, and there's still no explanation for the time or significance.
Kelly is concerned, though, because sources connected to her told us she won't allow her kids outside the gate at night.
Young's history with Kelly apparently dates back over a decade. She allegedly first tracked Kelly down at her Nashville estate before the incidents in California. Clarkson says Young sometimes even leaves unwanted gifts outside her home.
The good news for Kelly is ... Young hasn't bailed out yet. If convicted, she's looking at more than a year in jail. Her preliminary hearing is set for February 26.

Chloe Cherry 'Euphoria' Star Charged with Retail Theft ... Allegedly Stole $28 Blouse

"Euphoria" star Chloe Cherry is in some hot water back in her hometown after allegedly stealing a blouse from a local store and getting caught.
Cherry was charged with misdemeanor retail theft in January for an incident that reportedly happened back in December in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
According to sources with direct knowledge of the case, Chloe entered the Building Character shopping complex on December 27 and took a $28 blouse into a dressing room ... she then held onto the blouse and left without paying.
We're told Chloe paid for other items using a credit card, but is accused of not paying for the blouse. At some point, the police got involved, and cops say Chloe admitted to taking the blouse -- giving it back to an officer.
Chloe's rep, however, has a different take on what happened ... telling us, "In December, there was confusion over a blouse that wasn’t properly charged to my client’s credit card. In no way did she 'admit' to taking the blouse, since that was not the case. This story seems to be more about a local store trading on a celebrity’s name more than anything else.”
Lancaster Online was first to report the story.
Chloe is most famous for her role as Faye on "Euphoria" but has modeled and worked in adult films as well.
Of course, she's not the first celeb to become entangled in alleged shoplifting shenanigans. It was back in 2001 when Winona Ryder was accused of stealing more than $5,000 in designer items from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
Ryder was charged with four felonies and was sentenced to three years of probation, 480 hours of community service, $3,700 in fines, and $6,355 in restitution ... after completing the community service, her charges were reduced to misdemeanors.

19-Year-Old TikToker Arrested for Running GoFundMe Scam ... Over Fake Cancer Diagnosis
A 19-year-old has been arrested and booked in Iowa for what cops say was a phony charity scam that raked in tens of thousands ... all from people who believed she had cancer.
The Eldridge Police Department rang up Madison Russo on a first-degree theft charge this week, which carries a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison if convicted. She was arrested on Jan. 23, but has since bonded out ... and is due back in court on March 2.
Cops allege Russo lied about 3 different diagnoses that she'd publicly been touting for at least a year ... including leukemia, pancreatic cancer and a tumor "the size of a football."
Throughout much of 2022, Russo went viral on TikTok while documenting her health journey -- which the authorities are now saying was completely made-up ... and which entered criminal territory after she raised upwards of $37k on GoFundMe from 439 donors.
On social media, she was often seen adorned in hospital-like paraphernalia ... IV bags, tubes that ran through her nose and medical tape/gauze -- suggesting she was undergoing treatment. All of that, however, was phony and just an act -- so alleges Eldridge PD.
Court docs reportedly lay out what police say they found at Russo's apartment ... in addition to some of the medical supplies listed above, they allege they discovered a wig, pills for nausea in a relative's name and more. In other words, they're claiming these were all props.
In addition, Eldridge PD says they subpoenaed Russo's medical records ... and allege she'd never been diagnosed with cancer at any nearby hospitals. The cops say she got on their radar after people wrote in saying some of what they saw on social media seemed fishy.
Organizations that Russo had allegedly affiliated with during this time -- when she was presenting herself as poster child for cancer awareness -- are now distancing themselves. She hasn't addressed the matter publicly. A TikTok account attributed to her has been scrubbed.

10:28 AM PT -- The Eagles just released a statement on the charges ... saying, "The organization is aware of the legal matter involving Josh Sills. We have been in communication with the league office and are in the process of gathering more information. We have no further comment at this time."
Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills has been indicted on rape and kidnapping charges ... just 11 days before Philadelphia is slated to play the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.
According to prosecutors in Ohio, the charges stem from an incident that happened in Guernsey County back on Dec. 5, 2019.
Officials allege that Sills -- a rookie reserve lineman for the Eagles who made the team this year as an undrafted free agent -- "engaged in sexual activity that was not consensual and held a victim against her will."
Prosecutors say the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation into the case -- and a grand jury eventually indicted Sills on one felony count of rape and one felony count of kidnapping this week.
The 25-year-old is slated to appear in court on the matter on Feb. 16 -- just four days after the Super Bowl.
Sills -- who played high school football in Ohio -- attended both West Virginia and Oklahoma State during his college career. He played just a handful of snaps for the Eagles this season, appearing in just one game against the Cardinals on Oct. 9.
The Eagles have yet to publicly comment on the charges. They're scheduled to play against Kansas City on Feb. 12 in Arizona.

Infamous con artist Anna Delvey -- whose story became a big Netflix hit -- is planning to drop some knowledge on Harvard students ... adding to her list of post-prison gigs.
Delvey, AKA Anna Sorkin, is gearing up to speak to an MBA class at the prestigious university ... according to Page Six. Cambridge has some time to brace itself as it's reportedly just in the planning stages at this point.
Anna was convicted on multiple fraud charges in 2019 ... including 4 counts of theft services and 3 counts of grand larceny while pretending to be a German heiress named Anna Delvey.

Of course, the Harvard gig might come as a shock to some ... given the fact Anna, who is currently under house arrest, has an impressive criminal resume. But, she's been doing quite a bit despite it.
You'll recall, she put on a high-end art exhibit while locked up in ICE Detention ... and even recently hosted a party downtown.

1:12 PM PT -- Civil rights attorney, Ben Crump confirmed that Kamala Harris will also be in attendance at Tyre's funeral.
Tyre Nichols' family is getting support from the one family that probably best understands their pain ... TMZ has learned George Floyd's loved ones will be at Tyre's funeral for a face-to-face meeting.
Famed civil rights attorney, Ben Crump is representing the Nichols family -- just as he did for George's -- and he tells us, several members of the Floyd family will be at the ceremony Wednesday in Memphis.
We're told the Floyds sent their condolences to Tyre's family after he was so badly beaten by Memphis police, he ended up in a hospital and died -- but the families have yet to meet in person.
That will change when they meet up at the Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis for the funeral.
Meanwhile, Crump tells us Tyre's family has been invited to join ongoing efforts to get the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act passed by Congress ... and they're all on board.
We're told President Biden -- who spoke to Tyre's mom, RowVaughn Wells, and stepfather, Rodney Wells, Friday -- is trying to get Congress to turn its focus back on federal police reform legislation. He's invited Tyre's folks to be part of the push to get it signed into law.
A White House official tells TMZ ... the administration is sending 4 dignitaries to the funeral, including senior advisor, and former Atlanta mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms.
Earlier today in the Oval Office, I met with George Floyd’s family. They’ve shown extraordinary courage over the last year, especially his young daughter Gianna, who I met again today. The day before her father’s funeral, she told me, “Daddy changed the world.”

The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act passed the House in 2021, but stalled in the Senate. Biden renewed his call to pass the act Friday -- after the Tyre arrest body cam was released -- and is urging Republicans in Congress to help Democrats pass police reform.

R. Kelly is no longer facing sex-abuse charges in Chicago, where a prosecutor's decided to drop several pending charges, but that news isn't swinging his mood ... the singer still has plenty of other troubles.
Kelly's attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, tells us she spoke with Kelly after Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx announced she no longer would pursue the case because the disgraced R&B star has already been convicted in 2 federal courts of similar crimes and "is looking at the possibility of never walking out of prison again."
Bonjean tells TMZ, “There is no real sense of relief. He is still fighting for his life. He is facing decades in prison." But, she added that Foxx made "the right move" with her decision.
Foxx held a presser Monday to make the announcement, acknowledging that some of the accusers may be disappointed, but "we believe justice has been served."
As we reported ... Kelly was accused of sexually abusing 4 people, 3 of whom were minors, in the Chicago case. Foxx says she will ask the judge Tuesday to dismiss the charges against Kelly.
Kelly has already been convicted by federal courts in New York and Illinois with a smorgasbord of federal crimes, including child pornography, enticement, racketeering and sex trafficking. He was sentenced to 30 years in the NY case and could get anywhere between 10 to 90 years in the Illinois case when he's sentenced in February.

Sen. Ted Cruz is standing his ground, refusing to apologize to Paul Pelosi for sharing conspiracy theories about the hammer attack ... even after seeing the shocking police video of what went down.
The Senator was at Reagan National Airport when we got his reaction to the body cam showing David DePape smash Pelosi in the head with a hammer -- he called it the "utterly unacceptable" actions of a "deranged lunatic."
Although he was quick to condemn DePape ... Cruz got much quieter when we asked if he'd apologized to Pelosi for supporting, or at the very least, promoting theories suggesting there was something shady about the details of the attack.
truth https://t.co/zCUHB1X6tI
— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) October 31, 2022 @tedcruz
In one instance, he reshared a tweet that shot holes in the idea DePape was "some kind of militant right winger" ... despite reports he actually had been posting on far-right political blogs.
As we reported, DePape attacked Pelosi with a hammer inside his and then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's SF home.
DePape -- who's since been charged with attempted murder -- told the FBI he was planning on shattering the Congresswoman's kneecaps, because he thought she was a liar.
Despite all that information, the body cam and surveillance videos showing DePape smash a back door to enter the Pelosi home ... Sen. Cruz is refusing to even acknowledge an apology might be appropriate.
He told us the "thoughts and prayers" he sent to his fellow lawmaker the day it happened still stand ... and that's all he's got for the Pelosis.

TYRE NICHOLS FIRE LIEUTENANT, 2 EMTs Fired ... For Protocol Violations At Arrest Scene
More first responders have now been fired in the wake of Tyre Nichols' death ... and this time it's a fire lieutenant and two EMTs who responded to the scene.
The Memphis Fire Department announced Monday it fired three members of Engine 55 ... Lieutenant Michelle Whitaker and EMTs Robert Long and JaMicheal Sandridge for violating numerous policies and protocols during Tyre's arrest.
The department says Engine 55 was dispatched to the scene, and when they got there Tyre was on the ground in handcuffs leaning against a police car.
MFD says their investigation concluded the EMTs, who were called for a person being pepper sprayed, failed to conduct an adequate patient assessment on Tyre ... and after their initial interaction with him, they requested an ambulance, which got there about 15 minutes after EMTs arrived.
All the while, the Fire Department says Lt. Whitaker remained in the fire engine with the driver.
MFD says both EMTs and Lt. Whitaker "violated numerous MFD policies and protocols" and they've all been fired.
As you know, Memphis police brutally beat Tyre and he complained of shortness of breath while being arrested ... he was taken to a hospital where 3 days later, he died. The 5 cops involved in the arrest have been fired and charged with murder.
MFD says the actions and inactions of the EMTs and the fire lieutenant "on the scene that night do not meet the expectations of the Memphis Fire Department."
