BernNadette Stanis is weighing in on the controversy surrounding the new "Good Times" cartoon ... and yeah, she isn't real happy with this one.

We got the original 'Good Times' star -- who played Thelma Evans on the OG show -- and she came on 'TMZ Live' Tuesday to tell us how she felt about Netflix's rebooted animated series ... which many have called somewhat backwards in its portrayal of a new generation.

Check it out ... BernNadette says she was actually approached about being involved in the show when she first told about it -- but in the end, it doesn't sound like it came to fruition.

A woman who appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" once upon a time got into an ugly tussle with her boyfriend while driving ... something she live streamed and got arrested for.

Elisa Jordana -- a singer/model/writer who appeared with Howard Stern and co. back in the early 2010s -- had a live video of herself up and running Monday ... which showed her in the car with a guy who went on to tell police he was her boyfriend.

In the video, which was live-streamed for several minutes, Elisa and this dude in the passenger seat could be seen bickering back and forth ... and eventually, things turned violent.

Aoki Lee Simmons has already called it quits with her much older boyfriend ... TMZ has confirmed.

The exact reason for their split remains unclear -- but we're told Aoki isn't planning on dating restaurateur Vittorio Assaf beyond the time they've already spent together in St. Barts ... where they've been canoodling for the past several days.

While we know Russell was supportive of the relationship -- People Mag reports that Aoki's mom was not approving at all ... in fact, they say KLS was "concerned" about the age gap.

Don Toliver was arrested on suspicion of DUI this week -- but it sounds like he was an easy customer for cops ... 'cause they didn't even take him to jail.

According to a report from California Highway Patrol -- obtained by TMZ -- the rapper was pulled over for speeding early Tuesday morning near the San Fernando Valley here in SoCal -- and cops say they had reason to believe he might've been impaired behind the wheel.

The report says that officers observed signs of impairment but instead of throwing him in handcuffs ... Toliver was simply cited and released in the field.

Devin Booker's trying to set the record straight about his hair ... after a viral video caused fans to question whether the NBA star was rockin' a wig!

But, Book seems to be saying he's au natural.

The video in question shows a person, purported to be an NBA player, with advanced male pattern baldness, sitting in a barber chair with his face obscured ... as a stylist applies glue, and ultimately a toupee.

Social media detectives began theorizing who the unnamed NBA player could be ... with the top guess being 27-year-old Booker.

The jokes went so far, the Suns star actually took to X to deny it was him.

“Yall got me messed up lol,” DB wrote ... seemingly indicating he is NOT the dude in the vid.

Of course, Booker, who dated Kendall Jenner, is widely regarded as one of the best-looking players in the NBA … so it’s no surprise fans felt betrayed by the prospect of the Suns star deceiving the public with his lack of locks.

It's not the first time an athlete has been trolled for his hairdo ... which LeBron James can testify to. Bron isn't alone ... Carlos Boozer was clowned back in the day for rocking spray-on hair in 2012. There are others ... Jimmy Butler and so on.

Steve Burns says he had no clue anything was amiss at Nickelodeon while he was at the network -- of course, this amid all the allegations made in 'Quiet on Set.'

The "Blue's Clues" star spoke with 'Today' about the whole saga ... and he says while he sympathizes with those who might've had bad experiences at Nick -- he personally didn't have knowledge of what was allegedly going on from his end of things.

He notes his show was filmed in NY, while the other shows these child actors were a part of had been shot in L.A. ... so he says there wasn't really any overlap between the productions.

The vast majority of FCC complaints made during and after Super Bowl LVIII had to do with a pro-Israel ad that ran ... and it appears to have been planned that way.

TMZ has obtained FCC filings -- including all of the complaints made pertaining to the Super Bowl in February -- and there's a recurring theme in just about all of them ... namely, people pissed the State of Israel was allowed to air a commercial in the broadcast.

Per the docs, hundreds complaints were filed ... and a handful of them were about the usual -- indecent exposure, risqué outfits, language, etc. And a fair amount even complained about showing celebs ... including Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, Usher and others who were in the house.

Billy Dee Williams made his stance on actors in blackface clear ... saying he's all good with it, 'cause acting is acting -- and an actor should be able to do what they want in their craft.

The 'Star Wars' alum dished his thoughts on this during Sunday's episode of "Club Random" with Bill Maher -- this as he praised Laurence Olivier's performance in 1965's "Othello" ... in which the late star, who was white, wore blackface to play the titular lead.

Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons' 21-year-old daughter is dating a 65-year-old guy -- with whom she's on vacation right now -- but Papa Bear isn't trippin', or so it seems.

Comedian Jerrod Carmichael's joke about race-based role-playing with his white boyfriend isn't getting as many laughs as it is raised eyebrows and anger.

The controversial quip came on HBO's "Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show" ... where JC says, "I sometimes joke to him that our relationship is like that of a slave and a master's son ... who, like, teaches me how to read by candlelight."

Just that opening line drew some jeers, but Jerrod pressed on, "Yeah, he groans too 'cause he's a good person. He doesn't like that f***ing joke. I like that joke. That's my burden, I think that s***'s hilarious!!'

A United Airlines passenger was rattled after she watched a window get replaced on her flight moments before taking off ... by none other than what appears to be one of the pilots.

The passenger -- a self-described toddler expert named Kristin -- documented the experience on her IG Story Sunday ... filming what appeared to be the flight's pilot fixing the interior side of one window, this before her plane from Denver to Dallas was due to hit the sky.

She wrote ... "They are literally replacing a window with all of us just chilling and sitting here waiting to take off?!?!?!"

Diddy might be in the crosshairs of the feds right now -- and he may even be getting wrecked on social media -- but in real life ... it would appear the people still love him.

The hip-hop mogul has been laying low at his Star Island home in Miami ever since his two properties got raided -- stepping out here and there in public -- but on Sunday, there was yet another sign that folks still hold him in high regard ... at least in the Miami area anyway.

The actor apparently nearly dropped out of "The Place Beyond the Pines" after director Derek Cianfrance says he and screenwriter Darius Marder rewrote every word weeks before starting principal photography.

Cianfrance told IndieWire he gave the new script to Cooper ... who called him up and said he wasn't interested in the new direction they took the film.
