Dr. Murray Wants Michael Jackson Fluid Samples
Sources tell TMZ ... Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers will ask the trial judge today for an order allowing them to get fluid samples from Michael Jackson -- to help with their defense in the involuntary manslaughter case.
We're told Dr. Murray's lawyers want to re-test some of the fluids to determine the accuracy level of the Propofol found in Michael Jackson's body.
According to the L.A. County Coroner's report Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication.
We've learned the Coroner has fluid samples and we're told they've been preserved.
Also today in court ... Judge Michael Pastor is expected to set a preliminary hearing date. The spokesperson for Dr. Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, has said whatever date the judge wants is fine with them ... "If he wants it next week, we'll be there next week."

Michael Jackson Fans To Protest Dr. Murray Hearing
Dr. Conrad Murray won't just face the judge in his manslaughter case on Monday -- we're told an army of MJ fans are planning a little surprise of their own ... in the protest department.
A rep for Justice4MJ -- the fan group planning the demonstration -- tells TMZ that scores of Jackson fans plan to attend ... and it's all going down on the freeway overpass near the L.A. courthouse.
We're told when the hearing ends ... the protesters plan to march from the courthouse -- then quickly split for the overpasses as Murray makes his exit. They will bid Dr. Murray adieu as he drives off -- probably not in the friendliest of ways.
But we're guessing the protest is the least of Dr. Murray's worries.

Seven Docs Cleared in MJ Probe ... Not Dr. Murray
Dr. Conrad Murray is still the lone suspect in the death of Michael Jackson after state investigators announced today that seven other physicians will not be charged.
Attorney General Jerry Brown had launched a probe of seven other doctors who treated Jackson -- mainly looking at the prescribing practices of the physicians.
One of the doctors on the list has been reported to the California Medical Board for prescribing drugs to an alias for Michael. That doctor was not named.

Stripper Claims She was at MJ's House with Murray
TMZ has learned ... Joe Jackson's lawyer will interview a stripper who not only claims Dr. Conrad Murray was at a strip club hours before Michael Jackson died, but that she was at Michael Jackson's house after being invited by the doctor.
The stripper -- who claims she was working at Sam's Hof Brau on June 24, 2009 -- claims Dr. Murray was at the club drinking just before midnight.
Now we've learned Brian Oxman, who is repping Joe in his wrongful death lawsuit, has spoken with the stripper's "rep" who has scheduled a meeting. Among the topics -- the stripper claims weeks before Jackson died, Dr. Murray invited her to Jackson's home in Holmby Hills. She claims she went late one night -- after the club closed -- and Jackson was there, however he was in a deep sleep.
In Oxman's letter of intent to sue Dr. Murray, he accused the doc of drinking at Sam's Hof Brau before treating MJ.
Dr. Murray's reps have strongly denied he was at the club on June 24. And, they say, Murray doesn't drink.

Joe Jackson Lawyer: Conrad Was At Strip Club
Joe Jackson's lawyer, Brian Oxman, just went on TV and said he has spoken to the owner of a strip club in Los Angeles who told him Dr. Conrad Murray was in the club the night before Michael Jackson died.
Oxman, who filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Conrad Murray on behalf of Joe Jackson earlier today, was a guest on "Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell." Oxman said the owner of the strip club, Sam's Hof Brau, told him the girls said Conrad Murray was indeed at the club.
As we first reported, one of the girls says Murray was indeed there ... but Murray's camp says the strip club tale is BS.
Jane's show airs tonight at 7:00 PM ET on HLN.

Dr. Conrad Murray Saves A Life on MJ Anniversary
How's this for irony? TMZ has learned Dr. Conrad Murray may have saved another life ... almost one year to the day after Michael Jackson died.
Sources tell us, yesterday Dr. Murray received a call from a Las Vegas patient who was complaining of chest pains. Dr. Murray told the man it sounded like he was having a heart attack and he needed to call 911. The patient resisted, but Dr. Murray persisted and the man eventually made the call.
The patient was taken to the emergency room at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, where doctors confirmed it was indeed a heart attack. The docs placed a stent in the man's heart.
Today, Dr. Murray visited his patient at the hospital. He reviewed the angiogram film. The patient is doing well.
Before going there the doc had a private moment at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church in Vegas. Murray also went to Barnes and Noble bookstore this AM. And he got a frappuccino at Starbucks.
Remember, a few months back it was Dr. Murray to the rescue on an airplane after a passenger fell ill.

Katherine Jackson to Joe: Don't Drag Me Into This!
Joe Jackson has no business dragging his wife into the wrongful death lawsuit he's filing against Dr. Conrad Murray ... this according to her lawyer.
TMZ broke the story ... Brian Oxman is filing the wrongful death suit in federal court today. Oxman has named Katherine and Michael Jackson's three kids as "nominal plaintiff."
It's bizarre to name anyone as a "nominal plaintiff" in such a case. As far as we can tell -- plaintiffs in wrongful death cases never bring in others as "nominal plaintiffs."
That said, Katherine's lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, "Mrs. Jackson has no interest in Conrad Murray other than seeing that justice is done in the criminal courts."
Streisand adds, "She certainly would never tap Brian Oxman for the job of filing any kind of lawsuit for her or the kids."

Joe Jackson Attacks Murray, Promotes Rapper
On the one-year anniversary of his son's death, Joe Jackson commemorated the day by going after Dr. Conrad Murray and the MJ estate on national TV ... right before he promoted his brand new rap protege.
Joe went on WJW in Cleveland this morning and explained that he's not mad at being cut out of MJ's will -- because, "that will's a fraud."
He also tears into Dr. Conrad Murray saying, "He shouldn't have done what he did."
At the end of the interview, Joe decides the timing is right to promote his newest rapper -- who launches into a rap song that uses a sample from the Michael Jackson hit, "Smooth Criminal."
FYI -- the MJ estate owns all of the rights to MJ's music ... so even though Joe is trying to use his late son's music to make a buck, he's running afoul of the law.

Joe Jackson Sues Murray's Clinics, Claims Cover-Up
Joe Jackson is not only going after Dr. Conrad Murray in the wrongful death lawsuit, he's suing the two clinics where Murray worked, claiming they are also responsible for Michael Jackson's death.
The lawsuit names Acres Home Heart & Vascular Associates -- Murray's Houston clinic, and GCA Holdings (aka Global), Murray's Las Vegas clinic.
According to the suit obtained by TMZ, "Defendants conduct of attempting to conceal the multi-state supply of drugs and the use of their facilities in Texas and Nevada to obtain medications was an extreme departure from the standard of care."
TMZ broke the story ... two women from Dr. Murray's Houston clinic went to Murray's storage facility the morning Jackson died and retrieved various boxes, this according to the manager of the storage facility.
One of the women, LaQuanda Price, told TMZ she went to retrieve a bio-hazardous box, filled with needles. She did not explain why she would take such a box back to her office, but claims Dr. Conrad Murray did not direct her to go to the storage facility.
LaQuanda's sister, LaQuisha Middleton, told us a different story. That she went to the storage facility with her sister to retrieve a chair.
The suit also alleges the clinics negligently trained Dr. Murray, specifically in the administration of Propofol.

Stripper: I Saw Murray Drinking the Night MJ Died
A stripper claims she was working at Sam's Hof Brau in downtown L.A. hours before Michael Jackson died and saw Dr. Conrad Murray in the strip club, drinking ... something Dr. Murray has flatly denied.
The stripper, who is shopping her story, claims Dr. Murray was at the club before midnight on June 24, 2009. She says after Jackson died ... management told employees not to speak to anyone about it because "they didn't want to be involved."
The stripper says Dr. Murray was at the club several times in May and June. Sam's Hof Brau is a couple of miles from Staples Center, where Michael Jackson had been rehearsing for his London concert that same evening.
Dr. Murray's rep has previously said the doc was not at the club the night before Jackson died, adding that Dr. Murray does not drink. Another stripper at the club told TMZ Murray was not there on June 24, 2009.
Joe Jackson's lawyer, Brian Oxman, has sent Dr. Murray a notice of intent to sue for wrongful death. In those docs, obtained by TMZ, Oxman claims Dr. Murray was at the club, drinking, just hours before MJ's death.
Dr. Conrad Murray -- Saved by Secret Benefactors
Dr. Conrad Murray won't lose his Nevada medical license ... because some fat-pocketed friends lent Murray a big chunk of the money he owed in back child support
As we previously reported, Murray was behind on child support and under Nevada law the Medical Board can yank the license of a deadbeat dad.
We're told friends of Dr. Murray's -- fearful he would lose his medical license -- anted up the cash ... we do not know their identity.
Under the terms of the settlement, Murray will have to pay an extra hundred dollars a month to clear up the arrearage, in addition to what he is currently paying -- $1,003.

Dr. Conrad Murray: The Strip Club Story is BS
A rep for Dr. Conrad Murray's defense team tells TMZ Joe Jackson's lawyer is flat-out wrong when he claims Dr. Murray was drinking at a strip club hours before Michael Jackson died.
TMZ broke the story ... Joe Jackson's lawyer, Brian Oxman, has served Murray
as a prelude to a wrongful death lawsuit. In those papers, Oxman claims Dr. Murray was at Sam's Hofbrau -- a strip club -- on June 25, 2009, prior to treating Jackson.
The rep for the defense team tells TMZ Dr. Murray was not at a strip club when Oxman claims, nor was he there the night before. As the rep put it, "In the weeks before Michael died, Murray barely had time to take a shower."
The rep also says Oxman got it wrong when he claimed Dr. Murray was drinking, because "He does not drink."
As for whether Murray has ever frequented the club, the rep did not know one way or the other. But one of the waitresses at the club tells TMZ Dr. Murray was at the club sometime in June of last year. A stripper who works at the club tells TMZ she vividly remembers the night before Michael died because she's a big MJ fan, and says, "It was dead that night. Dr. Murray definitely was not there."
The club's owner tells TMZ ... at least twice in the last 6 months, a private investigator came to the club and asked various employees a bunch of questions about Murray and if they remembered seeing him at the club.
Interesting note -- we're told Quentin Tarantino liked Sam's Hofbrau so much, he used it in the movie, "Jackie Brown."

Joe Jackson to Sue Dr. Murray for Wrongful Death
TMZ has obtained a copy of a legal document that Joe Jackson has sent to Dr. Conrad Murray -- a prerequisite to filing a wrongful death lawsuit ... in which Joe claims Dr. Murray had been drinking at a strip club hours before he allegedly administered a fatal dose of Propofol to Michael Jackson.
According to
, "On June 25, 2009, prior to treating Michael Jackson, defendant was at a 'strip club' called 'Sam's Hofbrau' in Los Angeles where he had been 'drinking.'" The doc goes on: "It was reckless for him to 'drink' prior to administering anesthesia to Michael Jackson. He concealed his conduct from Michael Jackson."
The doc, written by attorney Brian Oxman, outlines Murray's treatment and the medical emergency that ended in Michael Jackson's death.
According to the document, Michael had "neurological, pulmonary, and anemia signs over several weeks prior to his death. In May and June, 2009, Michael Jackson was confused, easily frightened, unable to remember, obsessive, and disoriented." Oxman goes on: "He had impaired memory, loss of appetite, and absence of energy. He was cold and shivering during
for his show ..."
Oxman claims these problems were caused by Dr. Murray administering a "polypharmacy" of drugs (multiple meds) to Michael. And Oxman claims, Dr. Murray "ignored the signs of Michael Jackson's pulmonary inflammation, brain swelling, and anemia."
Oxman alleges Murray repeatedly lied about the drugs he administered to Jackson and withheld vital information from EMTs and doctors who were trying to save Jackson's life. He repeated all of the alleged inconsistencies that have been previously reported.
Oxman says of Dr. Murray, "His conduct was inhuman. It was an extreme violation of the standard of care."
We're told Dr. Murray received a copy of the document in March. Dr. Murray's legal team tells TMZ, "The allegations are absolute, utter nonsense."
And people close to Dr. Murray insist he does not drink ... ever.
We're told the document was served on Dr. Murray on March 27, 2010. According to California law, Joe Jackson must wait 90 days from the date the document is delivered before filing an actual wrongful death lawsuit. The 90-day period is up Friday, the anniversary of Michael's death.

Conrad Murray -- Friday Will Be An Ordinary Day
TMZ has learned Dr. Conrad Murray will go about his normal business -- seeing patients -- on the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death.
We're told Murray will not visit MJ's mausoleum Friday, because it will cause a scene. He will, we're told, pay his respects around that time, when no one is there.
Miranda Sevcik, the PR rep for Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, tells TMZ, "Dr. Murray will be mourning privately. He doesn't want to distract people by reminding them of Michael's death. He'd rather people remember his friend, Michael Jackson, as he was in life."
