Beyonce pulled a fast one at Coachella, fooling even us ... 'cause she reunited with her old Destiny's Child crew for one HELLUVA performance this weekend.

Bey took the stage late Saturday night as the Day 2 headliner, and after an already kick-ass performance ... she eventually brought out Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a long overdue Destiny's Child reunion, contrary to what we'd been told in December.

Bey and co. started out with a few DC classics ... going from "Lose My Breath" to "Say My Name" and even belting out "Soldier" too. That wasn't the end of the cameos, though. Beyonce also brought out her hubby, Jay-Z, to cover their hit 2012 song "Deja Vu."

Her sister, Solange, also joined her on stage at one point to dance. Speaking of dancers, Beyonce's stage was flooded with them ... as we first told you, upwards of 100 or so. As if that wasn't historic enough, she also touched a milestone as the first black woman to headline the festival.

Needless to say, Beyonce certainly made up for lost time after missing Coachella last year. She even addressed her absence, saying ... "I had time to dream with two beautiful souls in my belly and this is everything and more I had in my dream, so thank you for sharing this with me."

Eminem's got some big shoes to fill tonight.

The Walmart yodeling kid ain't done yodeling yet -- he went straight from Coachella this weekend to play another, and seemingly much more important, gig in Nashville.

Mason Ramsey performed Saturday night at the famous Grand Ole Opry, which has hosted the likes of country legends like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Little Jimmy Dickens, and many, many more. The kid did his thing -- Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues."

Apparently, this was one of Mason's dreams -- as it would be for any aspiring country artist. The Grand Ole Opry is known as "the show that made country music famous," with weekly performances dating back to the 1920s. And if you're wondering ... Mason killed.

Can't say we're surprised by the outpouring of love he's getting right now. He's become a national sensation ever since his OG Walmart yodeling clip went viral ... which ended up getting him a slot at Day 1 of Coachella, and appeared to win over Justin Bieber.

When Cardi B performs the biggest show of her life at Coachella, her pregnancy won't make the scene backstage any less of a rager ... at least for her entourage.

We got a hold of Cardi's rider and it's stocked, at first glance, with several things a pregnant woman shouldn't be consuming ... but also several preggo-friendly options. Here are some highlights:

The roses are 100 percent for the boss lady, though. Let's face it, Cardi's getting used to that sweet smell of success.

Nicki Minaj and Quavo know how to smooth over a hip-hop beef the right way -- make it quick ... and hit up a VIP party right after.

Nicki and the Migos rapper hit up a Coachella after-party on the first night with a crew of A-list celebs -- including Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Scott and Chance the Rapper ... and they all seemed to be feelin' good.

Minaj and Quavo had a mini falling out earlier this week over the song "MotorSport" ... but it appears to be water under the bridge already. Nicki revealed late Friday night Quavo apologized and she forgave him ... so perhaps SZA was right.

Brooke Burke's leathering the storm of her pending divorce from David Charvet ... by arriving at Coachella in an outfit that's fit to make him eat his heart out.

Brooke entered the festival grounds Friday afternoon in a sexy all-black and leather getup and a smile on her face. She made the trip to the desert with her daughter.

We broke the story ... the model and TV personality filed for divorce from her husband last week after nearly 7 years of marriage.

Coachella Day 1 did not disappoint in the celeb dept. ... scores showed up to take in a little pop, a little rap and a little yodeling.

12:00 PM PT -- Sources close to Cardi B tell us ... she ultimately decided not to hire any additional dancers and is going with her original crew to back her up.

Cardi B went on a hiring spree just days before her Coachella performance, and made a primo score -- a bunch of Beyonce's fired backup dancers.

Our Coachella sources tell us Beyonce fired about 20 of her backup dancers earlier this week. It's unclear why Bey axed the dancers -- as we told you, she's got plenty to spare -- but we're told about a dozen or so hit up Cardi's team to get into her highly-anticipated Sunday show.

Our Cardi sources tell us she already had about 16 backup dancers when the new crew came calling. We're told Cardi mulled it over, and liked the idea of making her act even more grandiose. The plan is now to hire 4 to 5 of Bey's ex-dancers, and confidence is high they'll be able to nail the choreography in time.

The set should be a huge spectacle. Cardi recently said she plunked down about $300k of her own money to cover production costs, but we're told costs swelled to as much as $450k.

Justin Bieber got yodeling fever at Coachella Friday ... proving that Walmart kid has truly taken the country by storm.

Justin hit up Mason Ramsey's performance at the music festival ... where he serenaded the crowd after being invited up on stage by Whethan.

The crowd went crazy for Mason as he yodeled "Lovesick Blues" and Justin was impressed enough to carry the tune as he walked from the concert.

We're told Manson and his people -- yes, he has people -- are in touch with Post Malone and his peeps, for a triumphant return to Coachella weekend 2.

Everyone at Coachella this weekend better make sure their credentials are on point, because there's a serious crackdown this year, more than ever ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the music fest tell us all staffers have been instructed to meticulously check everyone's wristbands and passes -- especially for VIP areas -- because they've had issues in the past and don't want anyone where they don't belong.

We're told security's also keeping a watchful eye out for phone thieves -- a big problem last year -- and a zero-tolerance policy's in place for anyone caught jacking personal property. All perps will be arrested on the spot.

We broke the story ... there will also be intensive surveillance at Coachella, including drones that will blanket the festival grounds, scanning for ominous looking packages and people.

Yodeling kid Mason Ramsey just did the unimaginable ... he went from playing the Walmart aisle to performing for thousands -- including Justin Bieber -- at Coachella in less than a month.

Mason crushed his first Coachella as a spectator and a performer Friday afternoon, taking the Sahara stage right before up-and-coming DJ Whethan's set. It was only about 2:45 PM, and that's pretty early for the huge turn-out Mason got since most people don't file into the fest until the desert heat starts dying down.

One person who made it in time ... the Biebs, who, judging by the smile on his face, is clearly a fan.

Mason, who's only 11, didn't skip a note of Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues," and at the end took what could be the cutest bow ever.

One word for you Mason: ENCORE! You got the Biebs fired up!

It looks like Kylie Jenner found a babysitter for the weekend, because she arrived with sis Kourtney Kardashian for the kickoff of Coachella ... and Travis Scott's there, too.

Kylie and Kourtney were spotted entering the festival grounds Friday with Kylie's friend, Jordyn Woods, and Kourtney's bf, Younes Bendjima, in tow. We're told they were headed to pick up their VIP passes.

Travis was also seen with Kylie at the group's van with a team of bodyguards as they showed up at Coachella. As we reported ... he and Kylie had a baby girl named Stormi in February.

The 3 ladies shared a shot of themselves hopping on a private jet earlier Friday to head to the festival.

Drake's dad is getting a sick new OVO pendant, just in time for Coachella, but it could've been swiped at LAX.

We got celeb jeweler Boodaddy Diamonds after he landed at the airport, and he immediately gave Migos serious props for their jewelry game ... which they'll definitely be rocking this weekend at the music fest.

Boo told us he'll be backstage with several artists, and revealed the special piece he was delivering to Dennis Graham. The pendant is blanketed in diamonds, and pretty stunning. Even more stunning? BD stepped away from it in the middle of the airport!!

Someone had his back, though and in the end, Dennis got his jewelry ... which he bragged on last night.

SZA's stoked to take the stage with Cardi B at Coachella ... IF that's the plan, but she's not even trying to hide her excitement over the possibility.

The red-hot singer was leaving Nas' restaurant, Sweet Chick, Thursday in L.A. when she told us it would be an honor to perform with Cardi at the festival, but she can't give away secrets.

It would totally make sense ... SZA's featured on Cardi's new album, "Invasion of Privacy," on the track "I Do" -- and they're both already on the Coachella lineup. Somebody's gotta make it happen!

If ya missed it ... Cardi insinuated Nicki tried to one-up her, and Nicki claims Cardi and Migos bullied her into making changes to her verses.

The kid who went viral for yodeling at a Walmart is about to take his act to the desert and, if the stars align, he'll be performing at Coachella with Post Malone ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to 11-year-old Mason Ramsey from Golconda, Illinois tell us ... he's set to share the stage with some of music's hottest acts, starting at 2:45 PM Friday with Whethan, an up-and-coming DJ. Funny story -- Whethan actually tweeted about Mason after he went viral.

We're told several other artists have reached out -- including Posty -- wanting to feature Mason's yodeling magic during their Coachella set, but thanks to Ellen DeGeneres ... he's already booked at the Grand Ole Opry for Saturday ... which is when the rapper's scheduled.

Our sources say his team is still trying to make it happen with Post Malone, though ... it will just have to wait until weekend #2 of the festival.

Mason's popularity has soared since a vid of him yodeling Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues" at a Harrisburg, IL Walmart blew up. It's led to an appearance on 'Ellen', a follow-up concert at the Walmart and a 69-year-old song being back at the top of the charts.

And it looks like Yodeling Kid's just getting started. Mason posted Friday, "Can't wait to see California again! Hope y'all are ready cause we're bringing the country to @coachella."

Coachella is a death trap for people trying to go to and from their campsites, and a woman was killed because of the festival's negligence ... according to a new suit.

The parents of Micha'la Josephine Freeland are suing Coachella for her wrongful death, claiming their daughter was struck by a Jeep Cherokee while she was crossing Avenue 52 -- an unpaved, dirt road -- on her way back to her camp because the festival failed to provide temporary pedestrian barricades, fences, lighting, warning signs and other safety provisions.

According to the docs ... Freeland was a Coachella security employee, but was not assigned to work on April 15, 2016, so she planned to hang with her family at the Ave 52 campsite. That night around 8:15 PM, she was hit by the vehicle while crossing Avenue 52 and later died at the hospital from her injuries.

Freeland's parents claim Coachella knew security personnel and their families would be traveling from the festival to the campsite on that road ... but failed to properly protect them.
