Chris Brown Secret Service Could Save Him From Prison
The Secret Service -- charged with protecting the President of the United States -- could end up protecting Chris Brown from being sent to prison ... TMZ has learned.
Here's what we know. According to official D.C. documents -- obtained by TMZ -- a witness to the fight early Sunday morning told cops he heard the alleged victim tell a D.C. cop Brown NEVER HIT HIM.
The cop later DENIED ever even speaking with the witness in question. But get this. A Secret Service agent -- who was on duty and in uniform patrolling the streets near the White House -- made contact with D.C. police and told them he happened to be around when the victim told the cop Chris never struck him. The agent says he absolutely heard the victim's admission to the cop that Chris never struck him.
This is doubly helpful for Chris. The Secret Service agent's testimony could destroy the credibility of the alleged victim and cause prosecutors to drop the misdemeanor assault case.
It could also save Chris from the more serious probation revocation in the Rihanna case -- and remember, if the judge revokes Brown's probation, he could go to prison for 4 years.
Your tax dollars at work.

Chris Brown Enters Rehab for Anger Management
Chris Brown has just entered a rehab facility for anger management issues ... presumably to deal with his temper problems and to blunt a possible prison sentence.
Sources tell TMZ ... Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, just dropped him off at a facility in Malibu. The move doesn't come a day too soon.
We've learned the L.A. County probation department is going full bore in its investigation to determine if Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna case by getting arrested in D.C. over the weekend ... after allegedly punching a guy in the nose.
Sources tell TMZ, Brown flew to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail and met with L.A. County Probation Department officials today.
We're told it's likely the Probation Department will determine that Brown violated his probation, and a judge could sentence him to as much as 4 years in prison.
Along with Geragos, we're told his mom and GF Karrueche accompanied Chris to the facility. Geragos and the others went to dinner after dropping Chris off. We asked him about Chris, but he wanted to talk about his meal (see video below).
The rehab move could show a measure of good faith and contrition.

Mike Tyson to Chris Brown: STOP PUNCHING PEOPLE ... Or Else
Mike Tyson is worried about Chris Brown ... he thinks the pop star is too violent ... and if he doesn't cut the crap, CB is going to pay a very serious price.
Tyson was a guest on the 95.5 PLJ Morning Show this morning ... when the gang asked if Mike, who's battled anger issues in the past, had any advice for Chris -- and Tyson delivered.
"I like and admire that little guy," Tyson said ... adding, "I'm just worried about him."
Tyson says he knows from experience that if Chris doesn't learn to control his rage issues, people will turn on him -- and "they're gonna put him somewhere where that's all they do is assault people."
We're guessing he means prison.
You gotta listen to the interview, it's incredible -- and Tyson ends with this gem: "Chris should know this ... if you're not humble in this world, this world will thrust humbleness upon you."
Chris Brown The Real Problem Is Still Rihanna
Chris Brown got a hot meal after getting sprung from jail, and TMZ has learned ... his people aren't that worried about the misdemeanor assault charge -- they're WAY more concerned about the impact it will have on his probation status in the Rihanna case.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... the charge against Chris was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor because the victim's injuries weren't that severe and witness statements conflicted. The reality is -- worst case scenario ... Chris won't do any time for the assault.
The Rihanna case is much more problematic. As we first reported, the L.A. County Probation Dept. is already conducting an investigation to determine if Chris violated his probation. As one source familiar with the investigation tells us, "It's pretty clear he didn't keep his nose clean. It sure seems like a violation."
The Probation Dept. will submit a report to the judge in the Rihanna case, and the D.A. will then weigh in -- based on what we know, they will almost certainly ask the judge to REVOKE Chris' probation.
Worst case scenario for Chris ... if probation is revoked, 4 years in State prison.

Chris Brown Charge REDUCED To Misdemeanor Assault
Chris Brown just got cut a big break ... the assault charge has just been reduced from a FELONY to a MISDEMEANOR ... and Chris pled not guilty. Chris has just been released without bail. He's also required to stay 100 yards away from the victim.
Chris had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge just vacated that order. It's standard in such cases to order a drug test, but that has been cancelled.
The bodyguard's charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.
TMZ broke the story ... Brown was arrested for felony assault early Sunday morning in Washington D.C. after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel and breaking his nose.
Brown allegedly got into an argument with a man, said "I'm not down with that gay s**t, I'm into boxing," and then punched him in the nose.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the fight started when the man and his friend photobombed Chris, who was posing for a picture with two girls.
Sources close to Chris insist the fight wasn't over a photo -- they say the alleged victim tried to force his way onto Chris' tour bus, and Chris was merely trying to stop a trespass.
Brown has been in custody since the incident.
3:45 PM PDT: TMZ has just obtained witness statements, some of which conflict. Chris DENIES punching the victim. According to Chris' statement, he claims he was on his tour bus when the victim tried getting on and his bodyguard "handled it."
The victim says he was trying to get a pic with Chris and Brown allegedly said, "I ain't down wit that gay s**t." The victim told cops he responded by saying, "Why you hoing?" Chris then said, "I feel like boxing." The victim says Chris then threw the punch and the victim says he then squared off with Chris and then the bodyguard also hit the victim in the face.
According to the victim, after the bodyguard punched him, Chris got BEHIND the bodyguard and screamed, "Yeah, walk away."
The police say the victim was treated for a fractured nasal bone.

Chris Brown L.A. County Probation Dept. Launches Investigation
The wheels of justice are turning quickly for Chris Brown ... we've learned the L.A. County Probation Dept. has launched an investigation into Chris Brown's D.C. arrest to determine if it constitutes a violation of his probation in the Rihanna beating case.
We've learned -- and this is pretty ironic -- the Probation Dept. found out about the arrest from Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos. We're told Geragos called Probation Sunday morning -- hours after the arrest -- to inform them of what went down.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Probation officials have been in contact with D.C. authorities. Probation investigators will conduct their own investigation, and determine if there's good reason to believe Brown committed a crime when he allegedly punched a man in the nose Sunday morning.
The Probation Dept. will submit its report to the judge in the Rihanna case, who will decide if Brown's probation should be revoked. Worst case scenario for Brown -- 4 years in prison for a probation violation.

Chris Brown ARRESTED FOR FELONY ASSAULT Gay Slur Allegedly Hurled
Chris Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. this morning for FELONY assault after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... at around 4:30 AM Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel on K Street and allegedly punched him once in the face. We're told the alleged victim never threw a punch.
The alleged victim tells TMZ ... he and a friend were hanging out at the W when they saw 2 women about to take a picture with Brown. The victim -- who says he's not a Chris Brown fan -- says he and his buddy photo bombed the 2 women and Chris went nuts, punching him in the face and BREAKING HIS NOSE. He went to the hospital and says he may need surgery as early as tomorrow.
Law enforcement sources and the alleged victim tell TMZ ... before striking the man, Chris said, "I'm not down with that gay s**t, I feel like boxing." After Chris punched the man, the fight was taken to the ground.
Sources connected with Chris tell TMZ ... the alleged victim is full of BS. He was NOT trying to take a pic with Chris ... he was trying to get on Chris' tour bus, and Brown was simply trying to stop a trespass. The sources say before the incident the 2 girls tried to get on the bus but they were stopped, and that's when the victim and his friend made their move.
Law enforcement sources say Chris did not appear to be under the influence of anything.
Chris and his bodyguard -- who was also arrested -- will stay in jail today. Under DC law Brown can't get bail so he'll appear before a magistrate Monday, and until then he'll stay behind bars.
The alleged victim tells TMZ he doesn't understand why Brown was "so homophobic" to hurl such a slur. And get this ... the victim says he would have accepted an apology at the scene, but now he will absolutely press charges -- and he's already hired a lawyer.
Brown is still on probation in the Rihanna beating case and this could be grounds for violating his probation -- which means he could be sentenced to prison for nearly 4 years ... worst case scenario for him.
Before the incident, Chris had been hosting a party (pic below) at the nearby Park and 14th nightclub.
Karrueche just trashed Chris on Twitter ...

Chris Brown The Racist Ass D.A. Is Out To Get Me!
Chris Brown is the victim of a racist ass District Attorney -- so claims Chris Brown.
The ever-deflecting singer went on a twitter rant last night, ragging on authorities for calling him out for submitting bogus community service reports in the Rihanna beating case. The judge ordered Brown last week to do 1,000 hours of additional, legitimate community service.
Apparently Brown has been steaming over the ruling, and exploded last night, saying, "Nigga done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist ass crying to the judge that I didn't do it. F**k the SYSTEM!"
Fun Fact -- the actual L.A. County D.A. is an African-American woman.
Brown thinks punishing men for beating women at a point is ridiculous, saying, "How about y'all take care of all the homeless kids and families on skid row." And then there's this defiance: "Family first! The LAW ... last."
And for final bad measure, Brown referred to his last mobile edition to his art collection -- "I paint pics of monsters because its a reflection of u bitchass niggas and this bitchass system!"
Beating women can be such a bitch.

Chris Brown Sentenced to 1,000 MORE HOURS Of Community Service
Chris Brown just got his ass handed to him in court -- the judge sentenced him to 1,000 more hours of community labor after the L.A. County D.A. accused him of fudging his records.
As we reported, the D.A. believes the singer violated his probation in the Rihanna beating case by submitting bogus community service reports -- in one case even swearing he was picking up trash in Virginia when he was actually on a private jet to Cancun.
The judge revoked Chris' probation last month in the wake of hit-and-run allegations, but reinstated it today on the condition Chris completes an additional 1,000 hours of community service.
Think of it like a do-over -- because of the discrepancy in Chris' original labor hours, the singer won't get ANY credit for service he may or may not have completed since his conviction. Chris was originally sentenced to 180 days of community labor (1,440 hours).
Unlike last time -- when the judge said Chris could complete his labor in his home state of Virginia -- the judge today ordered that Chris' service must be supervised by L.A. County officials.
Chris can choose between Caltrans (aka highway cleanup), beach cleanup, probation alternative work services (PAWS), or our personal favorite ... graffiti removal.
Chris must also report to a probation officer within the next 48 hours. He did not look happy in court.
The good news ... Chris' probation will finally end in August 2014. One more year to go.

Chris Brown I Had a Seizure Because Everyone's Mean to Me
Chris Brown's seizure Friday was triggered by a giant pain in his ass -- aka the media and lawyers.
TMZ broke the story ... the L.A. City Fire Dept. rushed to a recording studio just after 1 AM after someone called 911 and said CB suffered a seizure. When EMT's arrived CB refused treatment.
Chris' rep says the seizure was triggered by "intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."
The good news ... the rep says the seizure was nonepileptic -- it's called a NES.
TMZ -- sometimes we trigger seizures.

Chris Brown Clubbing After Jail Orange is the New Black
Monday was theme day for Chris Brown, first showing up at an L.A. jail -- where orange is standard issue -- to turn himself in for his hit-and-run case, and later that day partying at AV nightclub sporting an orange hoodie and zooming off in an orange Lambo.
Chris apparently had a long night, because at 6:34 AM Tuesday, the ghost of Rihanna surfaced as he tweeted: "Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool & over it."
Here's the thing ... he's still on probation and has a criminal charge pending -- so he's not over it at all.

Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty to Hit-and-Run
Chris Brown just pled not guilty to the charge of hit-and-run, stemming from that minor car accident -- which led to his probation getting revoked -- TMZ has learned.
Since he wasn't arrested on the day of the accident, Chris now has to go to a police station to get booked for the crime ... which means he'll have to take another mug shot. He has until August 6th to take care of that.
Chris' next court date in the hit-and-run case is August 15.
As for his possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case -- the singer has to appear in court for a separate probation violation hearing in August.
As we reported, the judge revoked Chris' probation in the wake of the hit-and-run charge ... but he's currently free on his own recognizance.
The remaining charges from the car accident -- driving without a valid license and proof of insurance -- were dismissed.

Chris Brown Probation Revoked
That was quick -- the judge just REVOKED Chris Brown's probation in the Rihanna beating case, but the singer will remain a free man ... for now.
Brown showed up at court today to fight the L.A. County D.A.'s motion to revoke his probation in the wake of hit-and-run charges stemming from a car accident in May ... but the judge granted the motion anyway, paving the way for a probation violation hearing in August.
If the judge determines Chris violated his probation, the singer could be sentenced to 4 years in prison.
In the meantime, Brown has been released on his own recognizance.

Chris Brown D.A. Moves to REVOKE PROBATION In Rihanna Beating Case [UPDATED]
1:26 PM PT -- How's this for crazy ... sources tell TMZ, the lawyer for the victim in Chris Brown's hit-and-run case will be in court this afternoon to SUPPORT Brown against the D.A.'s allegations the singer violated his probation.
As we reported, the victim does NOT want Chris to go to prison over the car accident -- and her lawyer is prepared to say that in court today.
12:08 PM PT -- Chris Brown isn't happy ... he just tweeted, "I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!!"
Chris Brown is in HOT WATER -- because we've learned the L.A. County District Attorney has just filed legal docs asking the judge in the Rihanna beating case to REVOKE HIS PROBATION.
According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, the D.A. is asking for the revocation based on charges being filed against Brown in connection with a hit-and-run last May. Brown left the scene without forking over a California driver's license and proper insurance info.
The D.A.'s legal docs claim Brown "willfully and unlawfully" broke the law in the hit-and-run case. And, law enforcement sources tell us, even if the L.A. City Attorney ultimately agrees to drop the hit-and-run case because the victim doesn't want Brown prosecuted, the D.A. will press on because Brown has a duty to obey all laws as a condition to his probation.
The D.A.'s documents asks the judge to revoke his probation and immediately remand him into custody. But we've learned that's a standard request and when the D.A. goes to court today at 1:30 PM PT, they will not ask the judge to haul Chris to the pokey.
If the judge finds that Chris violated his probation, he faces 4 YEARS IN PRISON.

Rihanna Twerkin' Off To Drake Song
The following video of a twerkin' Rihanna will probably upset Chris Brown for two reasons:
1) It's sexy ... and she's reportedly cut him off from tappin' that ass.
2) She's twerkin to a Drake song ... Chris Brown's mortal enemy.
The footage was posted by one of Ri's friends -- showing the pop star gettin' down to A$AP Rocky's song "F**kin' Problems" -- which features Drake.
It seems to be a thinly veiled dig at Chris -- considering he and Drake hate each other so much, they brawled at W.i.P. nightclub in NYC last year.

Chris Brown Charged with Hit-and-Run
11:09 AM PT -- Chris just tweeted in response to the charges, writing, "It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous." He also just changed his profile picture to the girl's car he allegedly hit.
Chris Brown has been charged with criminal hit-and-run ... TMZ has learned.
We've learned the L.A. City Attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against Brown, in connection with a minor accident last month where Chris rear-ended a Mercedes and allegedly refused to fork over his driver's license number and gave bogus insurance info and then left the scene.
The City Attorney has charged Chris with hit-and-run -- for leaving the scene without exchanging proper information. He's also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.
We've also learned the City Attorney will refer the matter to the L.A. County D.A. for a possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case. Worst case scenario -- if the judge in that case concludes Chris broke the law and thereby violated his probation, he could be sentenced to prison for 4 years.
