Halle Berry Cardi's the 'Queen of Hip Hop' ... Winnie Harlow Says Hold Up
Halle Berry gave Cardi B a crown many feel belongs to Nicki Minaj -- and while Winnie Harlow vouched for the latter on live TV ... CB seems to want no part of the debate.
This is all started Saturday, when Halle and co. were hosting a premiere for her new flick, 'Bruised' -- a movie she directed and stars in ... and one that features a soundtrack full of female rappers, which was curated by both Ms. Berry and Cardi.

In fact, Halle shouted Cardi out by name ... but in doing so, also called her the "Queen of Hip Hop" -- something Nicki Minaj's fans didn't take very kindly to.
The "Barbz," as they're known, were swarming with fury about the title ... which has often been given to Nicki because of her many years in the game, and her undeniable influence in hip hop at large. Of course, many feel Cardi has emerged as a more influential figure in a shorter timespan ... and, apparently, Halle believes the same.

Fast-forward to Sunday, where during MTV's 2021 Europe Music Awards ... Winnie seemed to get into the fracas herself with what may be a little jab of her own while announcing the winner of the Best Hip-Hop winner. That winner, of course, was Nicki Minaj.
Winnie prefaced saying Nicki's name with ... "the one and only Queen of Hip Hop," which can interpreted as being in response to Halle's own remark. Who knows ... maybe it's nothing.
I know how some of you girls like to tussle over this typa childish shit… but ntm on Halle Berry. Anyway her movie #BRUISED dropping THAT SHE DIRECTED HERSELF on Netflix on November 24th. The FIRST female rap movie soundtrack!! we produced together out this FRIDAY!
— iamcardib (@iamcardib) November 15, 2021 @iamcardib
Enter Cardi herself ... who had some thoughts on the matter, and which may be the final say, for now. She writes, "I know how some of you girls like to tussle over this typa childish s***… but ntm on Halle Berry. Anyway her movie #BRUISED dropping THAT SHE DIRECTED HERSELF on Netflix on November 24th. The FIRST female rap movie soundtrack!! we produced together out this FRIDAY!"
Of course ... Cardi and Nicki have epic beef, or at least they did once upon a time. The question now is ... did Halle and Winnie unintentionally spark the bad blood again???

Drake Did Meet J. Prince, Larry Hoover Jr. ... But Before Ye's Plea
-
Exclusive Details
There's a full-court press on for Drake and Kanye West to make peace, and a key player in the negotiations is raising fans' hopes with an interesting photo ... but TMZ's learned it's not exactly what it seems.
As you know, Ye made a video plea this week -- with Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince by his side -- for Drake to join him on stage for a concert to support freeing Larry Hoover. Drake's yet to respond, but Wednesday night Larry Hoover Jr. posted pics of himself meeting with Drizzy and J. Prince.
You get why folks would think Drake's moving closer to accepting Ye's offer -- and maybe he is -- but the photos aren't evidence of that. That's because LH Jr.'s camp tells TMZ they were taken a couple of months ago.
During the meeting, we're told they did talk to Drake about supporting the movement to get Larry Hoover released from prison ... but it was long before Ye extended his offer for unity.
ICYMI, Ye's plan is for Drizzy and himself to squash their longstanding feud and come together onstage in L.A. for a December 7 benefit concert in Hoover's honor.
If you're unfamiliar ... Hoover is the former head of a major gang in Chicago, the Gangster Disciples, who was convicted for a murder back in the '70s, and sentenced to 6 life sentences. Many feel he's done more than enough time for his crime, and have been lobbying for his release.
Hoover Jr. doubled down on Ye's video while speaking to TMZ this week ... imploring Drake to do the concert.
Like we said, it's a full-court press to get him on board -- but so far, at least, Drake's been silent on the matter. Of course, he's most likely still reeling from the events at Astroworld, where he performed with Travis Scott -- and he's been named as a defendant in at least one of the lawsuits filed after the 8 deaths and hundreds of injuries.

Larry Hoover Jr. Please Drake, Do This For My Dad ... Bury Beef with Kanye!!!

Larry Hoover Jr. is trying to broker peace between Kanye West and Drake ... asking Drake to lower the temperature in their ongoing feud, and join forces in the name of freeing his infamous father.
LHJ, the son of the famous Chicago gangster, tells TMZ ... Drake has the power to help free Larry Hoover, IF he checks his ego and accepts Kanye's proposed peace offering -- a benefit concert starring both rap superstars.
As you know ... Kanye's been fighting to free Hoover, the former head of a major gang in Chicago who was convicted of murder back in the 1970s and sentenced to 6 life sentences. In a video, seemingly orchestrated by James Prince, Ye's already asked Drake to join him for the upcoming Free Larry Hoover Concert ... planned for Dec. 7 in Los Angeles.
Larry Jr. says he and his mother, Winndye, already met Drake at J. Prince's place in Texas a few months ago ... which is why he thinks it makes sense for them to put aside their differences and work together.
While Hoover was convicted of murder, lots of folks believe he has done more than enough hard time for his crime ... and Larry Jr. says his dad qualifies to be freed.
Ye even addressed Hoover's sitch on his latest album, "Donda" ... and Larry Jr. tells us why that was huge in getting their side of things out to the public.

Kanye West Let's Get Together, Drake ... For Free Larry Hoover Concert!!!
Kanye West is looking to bury the hatchet with Drake -- inviting him to perform on stage with him in the name of freeing a famous Chicago gangster ... all at the behest of one J Prince.
Ye took to social media late Monday night with a video message for Drizzy -- basically, the guy's extending an olive branch ... and it sounds like this might be the doing of Prince, the Rap-A-Lot Records honcho, because he was standing right next to Mr. West during the plea for peace.
You see Kanye reading a statement, saying he wants to address the back and forth between himself and Drake and put it to rest by coming together for a December 7 benefit concert in honor of Larry Hoover, to be held in Los Angeles.
If you're not familiar, Hoover is the former head of a major gang in Chicago, the Gangster Disciples, who was convicted for a murder way back in the '70s, and was sentenced to 6 life sentences. Many feel he has done more than enough time for his crime -- and folks like Kanye, J Prince and seemingly Drake have been lobbying for his release.
Kanye addressed Hoover's situation on his latest album, 'DONDA,' and now ... it would appear J Prince is orchestrating a cease-fire between Ye and Drake (again).
You might recall ... JP brokered something similar between the 2 rap giants a few years ago when their beef was an all-time high, and when Pusha T was smack dab in the middle of it -- exposing the fact Drake had fathered a son he hadn't made public.
Time will tell if Drake takes Kanye up on this -- he seems pretty fed up with the dude, but then again ... maybe he'll do it to appease his rap godfather. One thing we know for sure is Drake respects J Prince.

Logan Paul 'I Would F***ing Beat Mike Tyson' ... In Boxing Match
If Logan Paul and Mike Tyson eventually fight in a celeb boxing match ... the YouTube star says he'd win -- exclaiming this weekend, "I would f***ing beat Mike Tyson."
The former heavyweight champ has been rumored to be a possibility for Paul's next big boxing match ... and Logan made it clear to media members Saturday that he'd beat the fighting legend if they met in the ring.
"He's too old," Paul said of Tyson ... "He's aging. Father time takes a toll on everyone."
If you're wondering, Paul is 26 while Tyson is 55 -- and Paul seems to believe that age gap would give him a chance.
"I got the reflexes of a cat," Logan said. "Like a young, quick feline, brother."
Paul hasn't fought since he went 8 rounds with Floyd Mayweather back in June ... but he says that bout is the reason he'd have confidence going into a Tyson fight.
"We saw with Floyd, dude," Paul explained. "There's no f***ing reason that I should have been able to last -- not just last, Floyd's on my highlight reel dog. There's no reason that should be possible."
Unclear when and where the fight would go down -- Paul seems to be still mulling over with it'd be a worthwhile match -- but Tyson's made it known he is interested in the tilt, saying last month "hell yeah" he'd fight the older Paul bro.

Vin Diesel Calls on The Rock ... Help Us Finish Out 'Fast' Franchise!!!
Vin Diesel seems ready to put his differences with The Rock aside -- all in the name of putting a bowtie on his baby ... namely, capping off the 'Fast & Furious' franchise.
The actor sent an open message to Dwayne on IG, posting a photo of the two of them in character from one of their 'Fast' flicks and extending an olive branch of sorts -- inviting DJ back to installment number 10, which Vin sees as crucial to putting this thing to bed.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
VD writes, "My little brother Dwayne... the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes... but the time has come. Legacy awaits."
He adds, "I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny."
It's interesting ... Vin is inviting him back, but didn't even tag The Rock or anything, which is strange because the dude is very online ... and tends to respond to stuff in a flash.
Dwayne doesn't appear to have responded just yet -- and perhaps some of this is being worked out behind the scenes, out of public view -- but ya gotta figure if he does agree to do it ... he'll do it in grandiose fashion, like most everything he does on social media.
As #JungleCruise co-stars Dwayne @TheRock Johnson and Emily Blunt prepare to release their Disney tentpole, the two very different actors have learned to lean on each other to steer their careers through one of Hollywood’s most tumultuous eras https://t.co/embVqrkVvK pic.twitter.com/mzESVpJiCW
— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) July 21, 2021 @THR
Of course, there's no guarantee Dwayne will even be down to sign on -- because, as you probably know, they have beef ... which we thought was over and done with, but was reignited earlier this year with new comments from Vin -- and Dwayne responded.
Vin addressed the feud to Men's Health over the summer, saying he was giving The Rock a lot of "tough love" when he first started in the 'Fast' franchise ... and DJ told THR that made him "laugh hard," while going on to wish Vin and co. well on the rest of franchise.
Dwayne hasn't been in a 'Fast'-related movie since 2019, when he starred as as Agent Hobbs in the spinoff, 'Hobbs & Shaw.' Before that, he was in 4 different 'Fast' films.
If the final installment does, indeed, need Hobbs to finish it on a high note like Vin says here ... we'll see if Dwayne obliges. After all, he is a pretty nice guy. Let bygones be bygones???

Jake Paul went in hard on Zayn Malik Saturday night, calling him a d***head, adding he deserves everything that's coming to him.
Jake was in Vegas, and as he strolled through a hotel lobby he said of Zayn, "He's a f***ing lunatic. The guy's a complete asshole."
TMZ broke the story ... Zayn pled no contest to 4 counts of criminal harassment after he allegedly got into a screaming match with Yolanda Hadid and Gigi. Yolanda says Zayn pushed her into a dresser. He denies it.
Jake and Zayn have long-standing beef ... which began last year when they were both staying at the same Vegas hotel. We're told Jake asked if Zayn was going to party, and Zayn responded, "IDGAF if you have a good night." It went on from there, with Zayn allegedly screaming at Jake, "Who the f*** do you think you are?"
We're told Zayn even challenged Jake, asking if he wanted to "test" him.

Soulja Boy Kanye's Got Me Confused ... I Thought He Liked My 'Donda' Verse!!!
-
Exclusive

Soulja Boy was almost, ALMOST, at a loss for words when he heard Kanye West trash a verse he recorded for "Donda" ... telling us Ye previously said he liked it.
The former Mr. West made headlines Thursday during his interview on Revolt TV's "Drink Champs," where he talked marriage, money, fashion and music. One of the more notable moments came when Ye opened up about his recent beef with Soulja Boy.
If you hadn't heard, Soulja was pissed after Kanye released "Donda" without a verse Soulja recorded for the project. When asked why he left Soulja off, Ye not so shyly said it was crap ... and that's why it didn't make the cut.
Well, Soulja tells us Ye's words on 'Champs' stunned him, because in person, Ye had praised his verse ... so to hear the opposite now really surprised him.
It wasn't, however, all bad -- Kanye did give SB some props during the interview, calling him one of the top 5 most influential rappers of all time for modern artists.
We got Soulja in Calabasas a few weeks back after "Donda" dropped ... he said he was mad, but clearly things just escalated. Soulja says he and Ye clearly need to have a one-on-one chat to figure things out so neither wastes the other's time again.

Scottie Pippen MJ Used 'Last Dance' To Outshine LeBron ... I Was A Prop!!!
-
Breaking News
Time heals all wounds, right?? Not for Scottie Pippen ... 'cause he's STILL going off on Michael Jordan over the 'Last Dance' doc, claiming the Bulls legend used the series as propaganda to prove he's better than LeBron James.
Pippen -- who's been outspoken against the mega-popular Netflix show -- is crapping all over it once again in his upcoming memoir, "Unguarded" ... saying MJ was so worried about younger fans calling LeBron the G.O.A.T., he decided to release the multi-part series to show off his greatness.
“Michael was determined to prove to the current generation of fans that he was larger-than-life during his day -- and still larger than LeBron James, the player many consider his equal, if not superior," Scottie said in an excerpt published by GQ.
Pippen criticized MJ for making the doc all about him ... essentially discrediting the role that Scottie and the other Bulls’ players had in winning so many championships.
"They glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates," Pippen says in the book.
"Even in the second episode, which focused for a while on my difficult upbringing and unlikely path to the NBA, the narrative returned to MJ and his determination to win. I was nothing more than a prop. His 'best teammate of all time,' he called me. He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried."
Pippen also says there's a reason why 'Last Dance' put so much emphasis on MJ ... saying, "Michael deserved a large portion of the blame. The producers had granted him editorial control of the final product. The doc couldn’t have been released otherwise. He was the leading man and the director."
Pippen previously said he's directly addressed MJ over his beef ... but it's clear he's not ready to let this one go.

Zayn Malik Sister Defends Him vs. Hadid Family ... Message of Karma & Revenge
Zayn Malik's family is stepping in to support the singer in his now very-public feud with Yolanda Hadid and the mother of his child, Gigi.
Malik's sister, Waliyha, posted a series of family photos, Zayn's statement denying the shoving allegation as well as a quote about karma on her Instagram Friday.
The quote reads, "Karma comes after everyone eventually. You can’t get away with screwing people over your whole life, I don’t care who you are. What goes around comes around. That’s how it works. Sooner or later the universe will serve you the revenge that you deserve."
While Waliyah doesn't say it specifically, it's easy to connect the dots and assume she's targeting the Hadids.
TMZ broke the story, Zayn pled no contest Wednesday to harassing Gigi, Yolanda and a security guard. Legal docs claim Zayn shoved Yolanda into a dresser during a nuclear argument at Zayn and Gigi's home in Pennsylvania.
The docs say Zayn called Yolanda a "f***ing Dutch slut," and ordered her to "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter" during the argument.
Zayn has not commented on the name-calling allegations from the docs, but told us Thursday, "I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private."

Jake Paul Savagely Roasts Gigi Hadid ... Over Zayn Malik Drama
Jake Paul's proving revenge really is a dish best served cold ... 'cause after almost 2 years, he's finally responding to Gigi Hadid, brutally clapping back over the drama surrounding Zayn Malik and her family.
"Your 'rEsPeCtFuL KiNg' punched your mom in the face," Paul Tweeted on Friday.
Let's explain.
Jake's beef with the model started back at the Wilder vs. Fury II fight in 2020, when the YouTuber claimed the singer told him to "f*** off" for no reason, saying he almost had to "clap up" Malik.
Gigi defended her man at the time, writing, "Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies ..? Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie. Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly ass. Go to bed"
While the feud seemed long over, Paul reignited the beef after Zayn recently got in a blowout fight with Gigi's mom, Yolanda Hadid ... who claimed the father of her granddaughter pushed her into a dresser.
We broke the story ... Malik pled no contest to 4 charges he criminally harassed Yolanda and a security guard. He must take an anger management class and domestic violence program ... and he was also given 360 days of probation.
Zayn denies getting physical with Yolanda.
Jake obviously saw the situation as a perfect opportunity to troll the hell out of Malik and Hadid ... using her own words against her.
Logan Paul even weighed in, clowning his bro with a simple Tweet.
"yeah but ur still ugly"

Marvin Vettori I'm Gonna F*** Adesanya Up ... Next Time I See Him

Fresh off beating a 200+ lb. Paulo Costa, Marvin Vettori already has his eye on Israel Adesanya, promising TMZ Sports he'll "f*** him up" the next time he sees Izzy.
Presumably, Marvin means in the Octagon ... and not on sight.
We talked to the UFC star outside a Beverly Hills restaurant Tuesday night -- just 3 days after the Costa fight -- and asked the 28-year-old fighter about Adesanya calling Marvin's fight with Paulo a "s*** show."

— UFC (@ufc) October 23, 2021 @ufc
"He's full of s***. He never gives me credit, but he knows. He knows what's up. I'm the only guy who's gonna beat him, and eventually, I will. It's just a matter of time," Vettori says.
He continued ... "I saw clips of that video man, he's full of s***. I'm gonna f*** him up next time I see him, that's for sure."
The Vettori and Adesanya beef is nothing new. The men fought twice previously -- in 2018 and 2021 -- with Izzy winning both by decision, though, Marvin believes he was the true winner of their first fight in 2018.
Vettori -- who has wins over Kevin Holland and Jack Hermansson -- jumped up 3 spots in the middleweight rankings ... and now sits at #2, behind only Robert Whittaker and champ Adesanya.
Izzy and Rob are fighting early next year. So, what's next for Marvin in the meantime? We asked.
"I'm just gonna fight the best, and then I know the title is gonna be on the way. And, if I fight [Adesanya] before the title or after, it don't matter to be honest."

Tyson Fury Sweet Birthday Message To Wilder ... 'Lots Of Love From Your Old Pal'
There appears to be absolutely no more bad blood between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder ... 'cause the Gypsy King just sent his former rival a birthday shout-out -- and it was sweet as hell.
Fury recorded his message to the Bronze Bomber on video on Friday morning ... thanking him for their trio of amazing fights and hoping he lives it up on his 36th birthday.
"I hope you have a fantastic day with you and your family," Fury said. "And I hope that God blesses you abundantly. All the best. Lots of love from your old pal, the Gypsy King."
Fury also showered Wilder in compliments, calling him a "great, great" and "awesome" fighter.
"All the best," Fury added. "God bless, Wilder. All the best."
The video tugs at the heartstrings a bit ... considering how much the two have appeared to have disliked each other over the years.
Both guys have talked an incredible amount of trash toward each other -- and immediately following their third fight earlier this month, Wilder straight-up told Fury, "I don't respect you."
But, Wilder got over those feelings in the days following the match ... and sent Fury a message congratulating him and thanking him for the fights.
Seems Fury received the note loud and clear -- clearly showing he'd prefer if the two were buddies from here on out.
Awesome stuff.

"I'd like to punch him in his face, to be honest," said the former Bears O-lineman, who made six Pro Bowls with the team in his 13 years in Chicago.
"I'd like to punch him in his face. When you see that, that's your first reaction."
Kreutz also railed against Rodgers' explanation for the taunt ... adding, "I'd like to tell you exactly how I feel about it, but I can't say too much on the radio about exactly how I feel about Aaron Rodgers doing that."
FYI -- Rodgers has, in fact, owned Chicago in his career, piling up a 22-5 record against the Bears ... and while Kreutz acknowledged the QB wasn't necessarily wrong in his crass statements, he didn't want to hear them regardless.
"Just because you're right," Kreutz said, "it doesn't make you right for doing it."
Bears and Packers play again at Lambeau in December ... that game just got a whole lot more interesting, right?
