NASCAR Driver Ryan Preece Escapes With His Life ... After INSANE Stock Car Crash

NASCAR speed demon Ryan Preece is lucky to be alive after his car wildly flipped over nearly a dozen times during a race in Florida.

Preece was zooming around the track in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs stock car race at Daytona International Speedway Saturday night when he ran into some serious trouble.

Check out the video ... with just six laps to go, Preece's car suddenly cuts across the track and goes airborne before tumbling over 10 times and coming to a stop in the infield.

A medical team responded, helping Preece out of his mangled car, which appeared to be on fire. Preece was placed on a stretcher and rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

It's not clear what caused the accident in the 16-car race, which was won by Chris Buescher. As a result of his loss, Preece was eliminated from the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

But the good news is Preece seems to be OK. His rep posted a message on the social media platform "X," explaining that Preece was "awake and alert and obviously shaken," while still undergoing standard tests.

Jamaican Sprinter Gets Glass Shards In Eye Before Race ... Wild Cart Crash

Jamaican runner Andrew Hudson was left with shards of glass in his eye after a freak cart crash at the track world championships ... when two vehicles collided en route to the race.

The incident happened on Thursday ... when Hudson, Team USA superstar Noah Lyles, and other sprinters were being escorted to the 200-meter semifinals at Budapest’s new National Athletics Centre.

Aerial footage shows one cart smash into another on a pathway ... forcing one passenger out of their seat.

Another video from inside the cart Hudson was in shows the 26-year-old was clearly injured ... as he's shown rubbing his right eye following the collision. According to reports, Lyles could tell Hudson was in trouble ... saying, "He thinks he got glass in his eye."

As it turns out, Hudson did have pieces of broken glass in his eye ... which medics removed prior to the race. Luckily, the Jamaican athlete was cleared to compete.

"I can't see out of my right eye, but I'm okay," Hudson said after the race. "The doctor flushed out some shards of glass."

Lyles -- who won the event in 19.76 seconds -- explained the crash in more detail, saying everyone was really worried about Hudson.

"We just wanted to make sure that he got his chance to run," Lyles said, "and everybody got their fair chance to see the hard work that they did."

Jerry Jones Williams 'Maturing' After Arrest ... He's Down 34 MPH!!!

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is finding the silver lining after Sam Williams was arrested again over the weekend ... saying the defensive end is showing signs of "improvement," because he wasn't driving nearly as fast as the last time he got in trouble.

Jerry spoke with reporters about Williams' most recent run-in with police on Wednesday ... and he admitted his spin on the situation may sound a bit "hollow," but he's seeing it as a positive.

"He is 34 miles per hour less this year than last year -- 98 to 66," Jones said. "So that’s improvement. We will get it down. We will keep working. We will get it down."

Of course, Jones is referring to Williams getting busted for reckless driving last year ... when the 24-year-old totaled his Corvette after ramming into another vehicle. Cops said Williams was driving close to 100 MPH prior to the accident.

Jones added he has all the information about Williams' most recent arrest ... and while he didn't say much about the substance and weapon charges, the owner did reveal he doesn't see the legal trouble impacting his playing time.

WRECKLESS DRIVING

A pickup truck involved in a street takeover is seemingly in a world of trouble, after not only running from cops, but running over a guy in the process ... and it's all on video.

Footage from the incident over the weekend shows a black pickup barreling through a crowd of bystanders, striking at least one of them, as it speeds away from an intersection where it was doing donuts.

People scream as the chase unfolds and sirens wail ... video shows a police car ramming into the truck, doing a pit maneuver to stop the driver.

Once the truck gets pinned between a cop car and a curb, the driver surrenders at gunpoint.

Thankfully, it appears the guy who got hit by the truck was able to get up and walk away. Local reports say the driver of the pickup truck was taken into custody by Georgia State Police.

The officer didn't hold back in making the arrest, either, as video shows him hop up onto the hood of his car before slapping a pair of handcuffs onto the driver.

Wild stuff.

NFL Star Robert Quinn Arrested In South Carolina

UPDATE

12:36 PM PT -- According to police documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, cops were called out to the location of the alleged hit-and-runs at around 8 PM on Tuesday ... and when they arrived, they say they saw an F150 truck belonging to Robert Quinn with "significant" damage.

UPDATE

They claim signs at the scene indicated it had hit four cars in the neighborhood ... and appeared to have ruined a gate in the community as well.

UPDATE

Cops claim in the docs Quinn had left the scene and could not be located during an ensuing search for him. They added that they discovered a "partially empty bottle" of Crown Royal Apple whiskey on the passenger side floorboard of the truck when they canvassed the ride.

NFL star Robert Quinn -- a former Dallas Cowboy -- was arrested in South Carolina on Friday, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The 33-year-old pass rusher, who played for the Eagles and Bears last season, was booked in a Dorchester County jail at around 8 AM ... on hit and run and assault charges.

Attempts to reach police for comment on the arrest were unsuccessful.

According to WCSC-TV, however, Quinn has been accused of crashing into four cars, a light post and a gate ... and then leaving the scene during a wild incident in Summerville on Tuesday.

The outlet reports one witness told them the football player stopped to talk for a brief moment following the wreck before leaving ... but was "very belligerent."

"He kept saying, 'Oh, don't worry about it I'll buy you new cars, I'll buy you new cars, let's go to the dealership,'" the witness said. "I told him to get off my property and he proceeded to put his hands on me and slap me not once but twice."

WWE Legend Tammy Sytch Facing Up To 25 Years In Prison ... After Pleading No Contest To DUI Causing Death

WWE legend Tammy Sytch just pleaded no contest to a felony charge of DUI causing death ... and she's now facing a prison sentence of up to a quarter of a century, TMZ Sports has learned.

The 50-year-old wrestling Hall of Famer was first hit with the count -- and seven others -- back in May 2022 ... after officials alleged she killed a 75-year-old man during a drunken car crash just two months prior.

Sytch had initially pleaded not guilty to all of the charges ... but changed her pleas in a Volusia County courtroom on Wednesday afternoon -- days before the case was slated to go to trial.

According to court documents, in addition to the plea to felony DUI causing death, she also pleaded no contest to one felony charge of driving with license suspended causing death, four misdemeanor counts of DUI with damage to a person, and two misdemeanor charges of DUI with damage to property.

A sentencing hearing for Sytch has not yet been put on the docket ... though, according to court docs, she's facing a maximum sentence of 25 years behind bars whenever it comes up.

Sytch has been in jail since May 2022 in the case ... after prosecutors claimed she crashed her car into the back of another vehicle on a Florida road in March 2022 while it was stopped at a traffic light. The officials alleged at the time of the accident she had a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher.

Sytch had at first received bond in the case, but days later, she was thrown back in jail after prosecutors called her a danger to the community.

The case was not the first time Sytch had been accused of drinking and driving -- she had also been arrested at least six times for impaired driving before, including back in 2019 in New Jersey.

The former wrestling personality was also jailed last year for allegedly threatening to kill a man with scissors.

Police say the elderly driver was taking her car in for service when she hit the gas instead of the brakes ... sending her car from the service bay driveway into the customer reception area. The driver has not been arrested.

Two men working at the Toyota dealership were also injured in the crash ... but both are expected to make full recoveries.

PANICKED CALLER

The woman involved in the car crash that killed Alex Collins on Sunday night was "hysterical" after the wreck ... telling cops she did not realize the force of the collision had sent the former NFL star into her vehicle.

"I can't find him!" she can be heard saying in the 911 audio, obtained by TMZ Sports.

The call was placed just a few minutes after Collins' motorcycle had collided with the woman's SUV at around 10:20 PM in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.

The woman told dispatch that Collins had "hit me from behind" ... though she was frantic -- because she had no idea where his body had gone after the crash had occurred.

"I'm trying to look to see where he is," she said.

Minutes later, bystanders can be heard in the background of the call telling her Collins was in her car -- screaming at her to open the vehicle's door ASAP.

As we reported, authorities eventually pronounced Collins dead at the scene. He was just 28 years old.

The NFL community mourned his passing on Monday ... with his former teammates Russell Wilson, Geno Smith and Robert Griffin III all honoring him with tribute posts on their social media pages.

Others around the league -- including Tyler Lockett, Jimmy Graham and Marlon Humphrey -- sent their condolences as well.

"Always quick to greet everyone with a smile, he was a genuinely kind person who carried a special joy and passion wherever he went," said Collins' former team, the Baltimore Ravens. "May Alex always be remembered for the light and love he brought to so many people in his life."

Pete Davidson Required to Perform 50 Hours Community Service For Smashing into Beverly Hills Home

Pete Davidson will be legally in the clear for smashing his car into a Beverly Hills home ... that's if he complies with certain conditions in the next 18 months.

The 'SNL' alum was charged with reckless driving last month. We've learned last week he entered a diversion program without pleading guilty or no contest to the offense.

Pete is required to do 50 hours of community service, which he can do in New York. We've learned he'll be allowed to put in the 50 hours at the New York City Fire Dept., where his father worked and died in the 9/11 tragedy.

Pete must also complete 12 hours of traffic school. He must also appear at a morgue for some education on what happens to people when they're victims of a reckless driver.

If Pete completes the requirements, there will be no criminal offense on his record. Score one for his lawyer, Mike Cavalluzzi.

TMZ broke the story ... Pete was driving with his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders in Bev Hills back in March when he lost control of his car and slammed into a house. No one was injured and cops determined Pete was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

In a scene straight out of a Hollywood action film ... a car careened off an embankment on a San Francisco hilltop street and rocketed through a line of trees, crashing upside down to the roadway below.

But this was no movie ... the real-life accident was recorded by Nest cameras and 2 videos were uploaded to YouTube. Miraculously, everyone walked away from Saturday's crash with their lives fully intact.

The clip below is shot from the top of the street and shows the vehicle barreling through a guardrail in a residential area, plummeting into a small forest while flipping over several times.

From a different angle below, the second video captures the sedan launching off the edge of the embankment above, tumbling through the foliage and landing on its roof.

Pedestrians rushed over to help several passengers out of the wreckage. All of the occupants fled on foot after one was overheard saying, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I've got to go."

Witnesses told NBC Bay Area News ... the vehicle might have been stolen. San Francisco PD is investigating, but no arrests have been made.

'Final Destination' IRL Fatal Car Crash With Log Truck ... Lumber Falls On Car

A woman in Florida suffered a horrific death after her car collided with a log truck -- causing the contents to tumble onto her vehicle ... a terrifying ordeal that's eerily familiar to "Final Destination" fans.

The 25-year-old woman was driving her SUV on SR 200 Tuesday around 12:45 AM when the incident went down. According to Florida Highway Patrol, she was in the outside lane behind a semi-truck that was hauling logs, but allegedly wasn't keeping a safe distance.

The woman reportedly hit the truck, which caused the lumber to fall on her car -- the Fernandina Beach local was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

If this sounds like something out of a horror movie, it is ... because 2003's "Final Destination 2" -- a franchise known for freaky deaths -- featured a scene involving a fatal car crash and falling logs.

In the movie, Kimberly, played by A.J. Cook, has a vision of the fictional Route 23 pileup in New York, killing 18 people. The devastation starts after logs fall off a truck, smashing through a cop car and killing the officer.

What makes this week's real-life tragedy even more ominous is its location -- in the movie, Kimberly is heading to Florida for spring break when the pileup occurs.

Rosanna Arquette Crashes Car in Malibu

Rosanna Arquette got into a frightening car wreck in a Malibu shopping center ... but she managed to walk away unscathed, TMZ has confirmed.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the actress apparently lost control of her vehicle Tuesday morning and crashed into a building in Point Dume Village.

The accident occurred as Rosanna attempted to park ... while trying to go in reverse, the Malibu Times first reported. Instead, Rosanna's car lurched forward and plowed through three pillars supporting the roof of the structure.

Video posted to Twitter showed the aftermath of the collision and all the damage it caused to Rosanna's ride and the building.

Luckily, Rosanna didn't suffer so much as a scratch, but she was taken to a hospital anyway to get checked out.

Cops said no pedestrians were hurt either, and Rosanna was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.

This isn't the first time Rosanna has gotten into a smash-up. TMZ broke the story ... in 2022 Rosanna rammed her Tesla into the back of a UPS truck in the Palisades Village shopping center. There, too, she escaped physical injury ... however, she suffered emotional distress.

Leonard Fournette Speeding, Racing Motorcyclist Before Car Fire ... Witness Told Cops

Leonard Fournette was driving like a madman before his car burnt to a crisp last month ... moving at high rates of speed and racing a motorcyclist -- at least, that's according to a new police report, obtained by TMZ Sports.

In the Florida Highway Patrol documents ... cops say a witness came to them with the allegations shortly after Fournette revealed his car had been destroyed while on a Hillsborough County highway on June 27.

ROUGH DAY

In the docs, cops say the witness told them he had been driving northbound on I-275 ... when Fournette's black Dodge passed him "at a high rate of speed."

The witness, according to the report, then stated "he observed the vehicle and [a] motorcycle to be racing and changing lanes." He stated he observed the vehicles "racing when fire then erupted from the bottom of" Fournette's car.

In the report, cops state the witness told them Fournette then slowed down and pulled over -- while the motorcyclist kept on moving.

Fournette, however, told a much different story to cops ... in the report, officers say the NFL star "stated he has been having problems with the vehicle as of late" -- before it erupted in flames on the 27th.

Fournette -- who had seemed to love the car, posing inside of it in one recent social media post -- said of the incident on his Instagram page, "Man it was one of those days today, but I would like to thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I am still blessed."

We've reached out to Fournette for further comment, but so far, no word back yet.

An FHP spokesperson, meanwhile, tells us officers did not have enough information to press onward with an investigation into it all ... stating, "No further action is expected at this point."
