The two would divorce that same year.

Gary Coleman -- Used Car Salesman
Gary Coleman may have been a great actor as a child -- but he sure grew up to be one lousy used car salesman.
In another clip from a pilot Gary shot in 2008 -- which never aired -- Gary's life coach forced him to try his hand at selling cars ... which worked out about as well as that job at the pet store.
We have no idea why this show didn't get picked up.

Simon Monjack's Secret -- Kids
TMZ has learned ...a laptop computer has unearthed a secret Simon Monjack carried to his death -- he had two kids.
Simon's mom, brother and therapist stayed at Simon's home last week with Brittany Murphy's mom, Sharon Murphy. We're told when they left they took Simon's laptop.
At some point they went through the computer and found emails from two women who wanted money from Simon for child support. According to people who have reviewed the emails, Simon had a son by one baby mama and a daughter by another.
Also in the computer ... wire transfers of large amounts of money -- as much as $48,000 in a single transfer. Simon was sending the money to lawyers, as well as someone in Europe for some sort of settlement.
We're told Simon's mom and brother felt the coroner should have the computer and handed it over. The coroner's office is currently reviewing the contents.
Sharon went ballistic and filed a theft report with cops.

Snooki Re: Tanning Pants on Fire!
Snooki wasn't telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth when she said she didn't use tanning beds anymore because of President Barack Obama's harsh comments.
Our "Jersey Shore" spies tell us Snooki is now doing what's called a cocktail -- she goes in a high pressure tanning bed, and then tops it off with a spray tan.
That's all the space we want to devote to this.

'American Idol' Ringtone: Sue, Sue, Sue Me
"American Idol" band members are suing the hand that feeds them because, according to legal docs obtained by TMZ, they're being grossly underfed.
In a federal lawsuit filed Friday, the American Federation of Musicians claims American Idol Productions made a deal with the band on the show which makes the tunes the whole world sings -- a deal that prohibits "Idol" from cutting the band out of downloads and ringtones of the music played on the show.
Short story ... Since the 4th season "Idol" honchos have been "selling digitally-encoded audio files containing those soundtracks." The suit claims some of the audio files were sold as songs and some as ringtones.
According to the suit, "Idol" execs never got permission from the musicians to make the sale, in violation of the union agreement..
The suit asks for minimum $500,000 damages and a contribution to the musician's pension fund.

Brian McKnight ... You're the Daddy!
Brian McKnight is the proud new father of a 14-year-old boy ... so says a Florida judge.
Miriam Lee filed paternity and child support docs in Orange County, FL last year alleging McKnight is the father of her son.
Brian never filed docs addressing her claim .. so the judge has ruled Brian's the daddy.
And now for the bad news -- the judge also decided Brian must fork over 14 years worth of child support ... which comes to a whopping $341,640.
We're told Brian's monthly support payment is $11,388 a month.
A rep for Brian McKnight tells us, "The judgment in Florida was a default judgment made without Brian present. He's still looking to establish paternity, and is awaiting the results of a recent test."

'Half Pint' Brawler: I'm A Midget, Get Over It
A wee wrestler on Spike TV's "Half Pint Brawlers" thinks the whole stink by a civil rights organization over the word "midget" is a little ridiculous.
The Little People of America issued a statement, criticizing the show for using the M-bomb because it reinforces "archaic, objectifying and stigmatizing stereotypes.".
Turtle (above)-- tells TMZ, "I do not find the word 'midget' to be disrespectful atall ... I am not trying to push it on other people to use the term todescribe themselves, but midget is just another word for little."
The "Jersey Shore" cast got similar flack for their use of the word "guido" -- and last we checked, they didn't give a crap either.

Rap Chick Nicki Minaj Sued over Lambo
Rapper Nicki Minaj banged up a rented Lambo to the tune of nearly $12,000, according to a lawsuit filed by the rental car company.
The plaintiff, Hollywood Exotic Car Rental, claims Minaj agreed to rent a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago -- at the rate of $1,750 a day -- to shoot her "Massive Attack" music video.
But according to the suit -- filed today in L.A. County Superior Court -- the exotic car was driven "off-road" and damaged "in the approximate amount of $11,589.41." Plus, they allege, Minaj didn't pay three days rent on the car -- that's another $5,250.
The rental company is suing for unpaid rental charges, property damage, and punitive damage.
Check out the Lambo in the music video. We gotta say, at that price tag -- pink? Really?
Dennis Rodman: I'm Not As Rich as She Thinks
Dennis Rodman wants the world to know he never fell behind on child support payments ... that is, the ones he could afford to pay.
Rodman's rep tells TMZ the former NBA star's estranged wife Michelle convinced a judge behind his back to jack up his child support ... and now he's in over his head.
Rodman claims he has been faithfully paying upwards of $10,000 a month since the beginning -- but the court hiked it to $50,000 a month and now he can't afford it.
According to the rep, the former NBA star doesn't earn anywhere near what his wife thinks -- nearly $4.5 million a month (not a mistake -- a month) -- so this whole $300,000 unpaid child support problem is BS.

'Mad Men' Star Car Crash The Plot Thickens
TMZ has learned January Jones' car accident is way more involved than we first heard ... and it may involve alcohol and even a special appearance by Bobby Flay.
As we first reported Jones was driving home last night when her car struck 3 parked vehicles. She left her license with a witness, walked a short distance to her home, called 911 and eventually returned to the scene. Jones told cops paparazzi were following her and that's why she crashed. Cops did not administer a field sobriety test -- we were told because there was no evidence of alcohol.
But now we're getting a more involved story. A woman who owns one of the cars that was hit tells TMZ ... she heard the crash, looked over her balcony and saw Jones. She says around 10 minutes after the crash, Food Network star Bobby Flay showed up in a separate car, began talking with her and telling her to leave the scene, which she did.
We spoke with Flay, who tells us he was watching the basketball game last night at The London West Hollywood Hotel with a group of people that included Jones. Flay says he saw her drink a beer but wasn't really watching her alcohol intake. Flay says he had only met Jones once before, and last night she asked for his number because she wanted to redo her kitchen and give his number to her designer. Flay obliged, and says he doesn't know why Jones chose to call him after the crash, but nonetheless he drove over to help her. He says he did not argue but just wanted to make sure she was ok.
The witness at the scene tells TMZ she was face-to-face with Jones and smelled alcohol on her breath. The witness says Jones left her driver's license with another resident and left. She returned 45 minutes later in a different set of clothes, chewing gum.
The witness says she asked cops if they were going to administer a field sobriety test, but a cop told her there was no point since she could have had a drink at home and there was no way of proving she was under the influence when she was behind the wheel. Cops confirm there is no way to pin drinking and driving on someone who leaves the scene and comes back.
As for being chased by the paparazzi ... none of the witnesses we spoke with saw any photogs at the scene, and no pictures have surfaced that show the scene immediately after the crash. The pics you see in this post were taken many hours later.
Jones' reps have not returned our calls.
UPDATE: An LAPD spokesperson just told TMZ ... Jones was being followed by two paparazzi and it was not a case of hit-and-run, adding "She wasn't under the influence of anything. No one got hurt. There is no investigation."

Dr. Murray Rally: We Love You
Pastors from several churches in the Houston neighborhood where Dr. Conrad Murray does charity medical work are organizing a rally to coincide with his scheduled hearing in L.A. to set a date for the preliminary hearing.
We're told United States Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee
, to show support for the doctor who is accused of killing Michael Jackson.
We're also told as many as 1,000 people are expected to show at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Acres Homes, a poor community in Houston.
As TMZ first reported the initial plan was to charter buses and come to L.A. -- to counter the protests organized by Michael Jackson fans.
UPDATE: Congresswoman Lee's Chief of Staff justcalled TMZ and said, "There is no knowledge of any event. There is notruth to the story."

'Mad Men' Star Leaves Scene After 4-Car Wreck
"Mad Men" star January Jones allegedly slammed into three parked cars and left the scene.
LAPD tells TMZ January was driving a Range Rover around 9 PM last night when she allegedly lost control, hit the other cars and caused some major damage. We're told a witness reported the accident to police and claimed that January fled on foot after saying, "I can't deal with this commotion."
Police tell us that while officers were on scene investigating January returned and claimed she fled because paparazzi were trailing her.
January was not cited or arrested, but her car was impounded and police have launched an investigation. Police say no alcohol or drugs were involved.
As for why paps might have been trying so hard to get a shot of Jones -- photos of her doing a "walk of shame" were all over the Internet yesterday, showing her arriving home in a taxi in the same dress she wore to an event the night before (Below).
UPDATE: Police tell TMZ Jones told them she was at The London West Hollywood Hotel watching the Lakers lose and then drove home. She says several paparazzi started following her and she lost control of her car and struck 3 parked vehicles. Jones says the photogs were harassing her so she left her license and walked a half a block to her home and called 911. The dispatcher told Jones cops had just arrived on scene so she returned. We're told there will not be a hit-and-run investigation.
And cops say they did not administer a field sobriety test because there was no evidence of alcohol.

Train Stores in Line for Gary Coleman's Stuff
Gary Coleman loved trains almost as much as he loved his wife ... TMZ has learned the former child actor originally planned to leave almost all his worldly possessions to three model train stores ... assuming Shannon was dead.
In the 2006 will, Gary made Shannon the beneficiary of most of his property -- including clothing, jewelry, art, boats, and other recreational vehicles. But if Shannon predeceased Gary or died within 90 days of his death, all his stuff was supposed to go to Allied Model Trains, The Original Whistle Stop, and The Train Shack in L.A.
But even if Shannon outlived Gary, she wasn't getting her hands on his enormous model train collection -- under the '06 will, Gary doled out all of his trains to the stores he loved.
As TMZ first reported, Shannon just filed docs claiming she's the rightful heir to everything ... based on a somewhat mysterious 2007 handwritten addendum -- which would cut the train stores off in their tracks from getting anything.
