Oscar De La Hoya has set the over/under for how long Floyd Mayweather would last in a UFC fight ... and Floyd's not gonna like it.

We got Oscar heading into Staples Center for a Lakers game the other day and asked him how his former boxing rival would fare in MMA.

De La Hoya's prediction -- "Tapped out in 10 seconds."

Ouch.

FYI, Floyd says he probably ain't gonna test his skills inside the Octagon ... but money talks, so don't rule it out.

Speaking of money fights, Oscar updated us on his quest to do business with Dana White ... a couple weeks after TMZ Sports got his initial pitch.

Errol Spence I Hate 'Rocky" ... The Movie Kinda Sucks

HATIN' ON ROCKY
TMZSports.com

WARNING: THIS POST IS FULL OF BLASPHEMY.

IBF Welterweight Errol Spence -- one of the most feared boxers on Earth -- is about to do what no fighter has ever done before ... straight HATE on the best movie of all time, "Rocky."

Most people think Spence is up next to be the Floyd Mayweather-type, huge deal boxing star, so when we got him out in NYC, we wanted to get to know the slugger a little better.

We asked Spence what he thought the worst boxing movie of all time was, and he opted to let films like "Grudge Match," and "Play It To The Bone" off the hook and indict the holy grail of sports films.

"I didn't like Rocky, it was too fake. The dude got hit like a million times in one round and he's still going. It was just fake to me, I didn't really like it."

Whatever dude, keep your hands up in your next fight. We'd hate for someone to clock you right on the chin.

Deontay Wilder Me vs. Mike Tyson In '86 ... I'd Kick His Ass

NO ONE STANDS A CHANCE
TMZSports.com

Remember the unstoppable, unbeatable force that was Mike Tyson in 1986?

If you don't, first check out the video below ... we'll wait. Terrifying right? Well, current heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder tells TMZ Sports he'd kick the hell outta that guy, and he totally means it.

Wilder is currently the scariest heavyweight alive, so when we got him at the Showtime boxing Upfronts earlier this week we thought we'd ask him how he'd fare against the scariest ever ... Tyson.

His answer? He obviously thinks he could take him, telling our guy no man in the history of boxing could ever beat him.

This is normally the point where we offer our unsolicited opinion, but we're gonna sit this one out.

Diamond Dallas Page Rousey Will Be Like Goldberg, Tyson ... WWE's Next Big Thing!

TMZSports.com

How huge will Ronda Rousey be for WWE??

Pro wrestling legend Diamond Dallas Page says she'll be a bonafide mega-star ... and he's comparing her to a couple heavyweight titans to make his point.

The first -- Mike Tyson ... who famously crossed over to WWE to briefly feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania.

And if Rousey wants to make it a permanent gig ... DDP says she could be the female equivalent of future WWE Hall of Famer, Bill Goldberg!

"He had that incredible charisma and personality and that 'it' factor, and Rousey's got that same thing," DDP told TMZ Sports at his yoga performance center in Georgia.

DDP would know -- he and Goldberg were big-time rivals in WCW ... and he's also locked up with pro athletes with Tyson's clout.

So, if and when Rousey makes the jump -- expect it to be MASSIVE.

It went down at Showtime's boxing Upfronts in NYC Wednesday which were hosted by radio superstar and rabid Boxing fan Charlamagne Tha God.

All of Showtime's biggest stars like Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Deontay Wilder and Mikey Garcia were there, but when AB got the mic, he decided to tell the rest of the guys how he felt about them

Check it out, and BTW the language is obviously filthy there.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. Turns Himself In, Pleads Not Guilty To Battery

Floyd Mayweather Sr. adamantly denies attacking a woman after the Gennady Golovkin-Canelo Alvarez fight ... pleading not guilty to a battery charge in a Las Vegas court.

In case you missed it ... cops say Sr., 65, got into a heated confrontation outside T-Mobile Arena after the fight. They say Sr. grabbed the woman before punching her in the leg.

Sr. was charged with battery and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Floyd turned himself Tuesday ... and the warrant was canceled. On Thursday, Sr.'s attorney appeared before a Vegas judge ... and pled not guilty on Mayweather's behalf.

As we previously reported, FM Sr.'s rep told us he's totally innocent ... and never laid a hand on the alleged victim.

Mayweather Sr. is due back in court March 27.

Bob Arum Shocked By Floyd Sr. Allegations ... 'He's a Nice Guy'

TMZSports.com

TMZ Sports broke the news to Bob Arum about the warrant out for Floyd Mayweather Sr.'s arrest -- and the boxing Hall of Famer could hardly believe it ... insisting Floyd's a really nice guy.

As we previously reported, Mayweather is facing battery charges in Vegas after he allegedly punched a woman in the leg following the GGG vs. Canelo fight back in Sept.

Arum -- who was Manny Pacquiao's promoter for the big Mayweather fight -- said he could barely believe it, "He's a nice guy. That's terrible."

"We don't know if it's true or not, but Floyd Sr. is a terrific guy and I've never known him to be violent."

Floyd Mayweather Sr. Allegedly Punched Woman at Canelo vs. GGG Fight

Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin weren't the only two people fighting at T-Mobile Arena back in Sept. ... cops say Floyd Mayweather Sr. attacked a woman that night and now there's a warrant out for his arrest.

But, Floyd Sr. says the allegations are 100% not true.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports ... the alleged incident went down in Vegas the early hours of Sept. 17 ... following the big Canelo vs. GGG fight.

We're told the alleged victim was heading toward Floyd's car when an argument broke out between the two. Floyd allegedly told the woman to get out of the car, but she refused so he reached in and dragged her out by the leg.

65-year-old Floyd allegedly made things worse by punching her in the leg once she was out of the car. The accuser claims Floyd then got in the driver's seat and sped off without her.

The woman was hospitalized for minor injuries. Officials eventually charged Floyd with misdemeanor battery and on January 16, a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to court records.

We spoke with Floyd Sr.'s rep who tells us the alleged victim is "trying to extort money and she's angry because she's not getting the money from Floyd. It's not going the way she wants it to go."

Roy Jones Jr. Close to Fighting Anderson Silva ... Just Needs Dana's OK

LET HIM FIGHT, DANA!
TMZSports.com

Roy Jones Jr. says a super-fight between him and Anderson Silva is ON ... as soon as they get Dana White's blessing.

RJJ tells TMZ Sports he's already met with Anderson, and has a group of investors prepared to hammer out the details ... and the only thing holding up the scrap is Dana giving Silva the green light to fight outside the UFC.

"Anderson wants it, I want it, so the only obstacle is Dana giving him the OK," Roy said.

Roy says that since Conor McGregor was allowed to have a one-off boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, Silva -- one of the sport's all-time greats -- should get to also.

FYI, we asked Silva if he'd take a non-UFC fight earlier this week ... and he didn't say no.

Privyet.

Welcome to "Grown Men on Horses Without Shirts" ... starring Floyd Mayweather.

Remind you of anyone? Us too ...

The boxing superstar saddled up for a topless ride on the beach (unclear which beach) -- while rockin' a pair of denim jorts and pink socks.

It's definitely a fashion statement -- just not sure what he's trying to say.

One thing we do know ... Putin's gonna LOVE it!

Oscar De La Hoya Yo, Dana White ... Let's Do Business

Move over, Floyd Mayweather ... Oscar De La Hoya says he's the guy to partner with Dana White to book "the biggest fights" in boxing -- if the UFC prez will give him a damn call!

You've probably heard -- Dana says he's gonna promote boxing in 2018 ... and told us he's meeting with the sport's more powerful people (including Floyd) to make it happen.

But one guy he hasn't hit up is Oscar -- and De La Hoya doesn't seem too happy about it.

"It's surprising he wants to get into boxing and hasn't gotten a hold of the biggest promoter in the sport," DLH told TMZ Sports out in L.A., where he was promoting his Casa Mexico tequila.

But Oscar -- who we shot earlier this week -- says he's still open to doing business ... unless White wants to play hardball.

"It's gonna be very hard to try and do what he did with the UFC because there's a little company by the name of Golden Boy Promotions is in the way."

Oscar De La Hoya Off the Hook In DUI Case

Big win for Oscar De La Hoya ... the boxing legend's DUI case has officially been dismissed, TMZ Sports has learned.

We broke the story ... Oscar was pulled over for speeding in Pasadena around 2 AM on Jan 25, 2017 -- and when officers approached his vehicle, they believed he was under the influence.

Cops say Oscar also bombed a field sobriety test. He was charged with 2 counts of misdemeanor DUI -- but pled not guilty to both.

Oscar's attorney later filed a motion to dismiss the case and on Jan. 9, it was granted by a judge -- which means he's out of the woods.

It's a big deal considering Oscar was facing up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

'Bleed for This' Boxer Calls BS on Brutal Assault ... 'I'm the Victim!!!'

Former boxing champ Vinny Paz -- the inspiration for the Miles Teller movie "Bleed for This" -- says he's the real victim in a VERY violent incident in Rhode Island.

Here's what we know ... cops responded to a home in Providence early Tuesday morning -- where witnesses claimed the 55-year-old pummeled another man during a dispute over money.

Witnesses told police Paz had accused the other man of stealing $16,000 from him -- and that's what started the attack.

Paz, however, is calling BS on the allegations -- tweeting, "I'm the victim." He didn't go into any further detail.

The other man was hurt pretty bad though ... cops say he was hospitalized with broken teeth, a black eye and bite wounds.

Cops told the AP they're still looking to speak with Vinny directly to get his side of the story.

Paz was 50-10 as a pro boxer -- but he's most famously known for bouncing back after a bad car accident in the early '90s left him with a broken neck.

Bob Arum To Dana White: You Need Boxing to Save Your Ass!

Another round in the Dana White vs. Bob Arum mega-feud ... this time, it's the legendary boxing promoter throwing major shade at White for his plans to get into boxing in 2018.

Arum tells TMZ Sports he welcomes the UFC honcho into the boxing community ... but then he fires this shot ...

"By coming in the business, he is really admitting that boxing is the more popular sport. And in order to keep his company alive, he has to go into the boxing business."

Of course, White hates Arum's guts -- and has been ripping him apart for years ... previously calling Bob the "biggest dirtbag in all of sports." So, no love lost here.

Still, Bob says he thinks Dana could be successful in the boxing business -- and gives him a real chance to make the Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder fight happen.

"If he puts up enough money, he certainly will land the fight," Arum said. "It's all a question of the money ... particularly in the heavyweight division."

DANA WHITE'S BOXING PLANS

You might remember -- Dana spoke with TMZ Sports last week, and told us Joshua was his #1 target ... and he's meeting with major players like Floyd Mayweather to help his cause.

For now, AJ's slated to fight Arum's guy, Joseph Parker ... and Bob ain't convinced that Anthony's "glass chin" will survive the scrap.

UFC's Khabib Nurmagomedov Hell Yeah, I Rooted for Drago ... in 'Rocky IV'

UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov just made himself Public Enemy #1 to all the Rocky Balboa fans across the country ... telling TMZ Sports that he's Team Ivan Drago!

Disclaimer: Khabib is 100% Russian ... which almost makes it OK that he rooted against the Italian Stallion in "Rocky IV." Almost.

"He’s from Russia. He's from USSR. Of course I support him," Nurmagomedov -- who's fighting this weekend at UFC 219 -- told us while out in Century City, L.A.

FYI, Drago (and his spawn) are playing a BIG role in "Creed 2" ... but no word if they're gonna avenge the brutal 'L' that Rocky handed Ivan back in the day.

Bonus: Khabib wasn't too happy with Russia's ban from the 2018 Winter Games ... and dropped some pretty serious shade on the International Olympics Committee.

Dana White Floyd's Not Fighting in UFC ... Meeting's About Boxing!

122817_dana_white_live_kal 12/28/17
DANA WHITE'S BOXING PLANS

Dana White's meeting with Floyd Mayweather's team is NOT about getting the boxer into the octagon -- it's about getting Dana White into the boxing biz ... so says Dana himself.

White tells us ... he's gunning to promote boxing in 2018 -- but he's not targeting a Floyd vs. Conor McGregor rematch. He thinks Conor needs to focus on defending his UFC lightweight belt.

Instead, White says he's looking to put together boxing superfights (in addition to his UFC duties) involving some of the best pugilists in the world ... starting with heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua.

"I think he's the most marketable fighter in boxing right now," White says.

We asked White if he's the guy who can get an Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder fight done -- he didn't say no.

Fingers crossed ...
