Daddy Yankee says he was the target of a crazy hotel room heist in Spain -- where a dude impersonating the "Despacito" rapper allegedly fooled staff into opening the rapper's safe and made off with $2 MILLION in jewelry and cash.

A rep for Daddy Yankee confirms the incident went down while the rapper was outside of his hotel in Valencia, Spain -- when a man pretending to be Yankee got access to his hotel room.

According to local reports, the fake Daddy Yankee asked a hotel staff member to open the safe in Yankee's room ... and the staff member obliged.

Daddy Yankee -- real name Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez -- famously rocks big gold chains and diamonds, and reports say that's exactly what was jacked from his hotel room at the exclusive Meliá Valencia Hotel... along with about $2,500 in cash.

Cops are reportedly trying to get their hands on hotel surveillance footage to help identify the suspect.

Lil Pump went from fuming over music festivals disrespecting him to flashing a huge smile, and all it took was a special delivery of diamonds.

Pump was venting Wednesday at LAX ... about having to perform on stages that are way too small for the huge crowds he's drawing, when some luggage arrived to cheer him up.

Celeb jeweler Johnny Dang -- known for making mouth bling for rappers and athletes like the World Series champion Astros -- met Pump at the airport ... and put a whole lotta money where his mouth is.

Our Drizzy sources say ... the rapper hit up celeb jeweler Ben Baller to make his grills less than 4 days before he shot the music vid in New Orleans. The grills were made in 36 hours and flown directly there. His order called for a specific combo too -- pure platinum and 18k gold.

The precious metals request was odd, because that kinda high quality isn't usually used on grills. We're told Drake wanted the all-gold set to rep a color associated with NOLA.

BTW ... the music video is pretty great, and Drake gets back to his acting roots. There are also some pretty cool cameos if ya haven't seen it yet. La La Anthony, in particular, has us all up in OUR feelings. Big Freedia made a surprise appearance as well after hitting up Champagne Papi last minute.

Tekashi69 must not wanna get back the chains allegedly stolen from him ... 'cause TMZ's learned he's not playing ball with cops.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Tekashi refused to describe to police the type of jewelry stolen or even estimate their value, though he told us it was nearly $1 mil.

What's more ... we're told his driver would NOT fill out a lost property form for the stolen iPhone and would not tell cops if the tracking software had been activated. BTW, we're told Tekashi's GF has also stopped cooperating.

Refusing to divulge what was stolen makes it incredibly hard for cops to know exactly what they're looking for. But, we're told cops are still active on the case because, as we reported, surveillance video backs the rapper's claims.

As you know ... 6ix9ine says he was pistol whipped, kidnapped and robbed ... and maintains it was NOT a publicity stunt. As we reported ... Tekashi's bling is back around his neck, but they're not the OG pieces. He had copies made.

Odell Beckham is taking training camp ice baths to a whole 'nother level ... 'cause the NY Giants star just got a handful of diamonds implanted onto his tooth!!

OBJ had the procedure done a few days ago ... and it wasn't cheap -- coming in at around $5,000 -- and his dentist tells TMZ Sports it wasn't exactly easy to do, either.

"I got my ceramist to make a porcelain veneer that looked just like his tooth," New York dentist Dr. Lee Gause says.

L.A. Chargers rookie safety Derwin James is finally talking about the night he was robbed at gunpoint in Hollywood -- saying, "I wouldn't wish that upon anybody."

According to a warrant we obtained, both of the men had handguns and pointed them at James.

According to the docs, one of the men snatched the chain off James' neck ... and they also took his Rolex.

The thieves fled to a nearby car ... and when Derwin tried to give chase in his Rolls-Royce, he discovered 3 of his tires had been slashed.

Cops are still searching for the suspects.

Karlie Redd's recent engagement is very much the real deal and it was sealed with a $150k ring ... TMZ has learned.

We spoke with Jack Solow -- the owner of Solow & Co. -- about the backstory of Hailey's engagement ring. He tells us he originally met JB through his manager Scooter Braun, a close family friend of his, and Bieber reached out to him a few weeks ago about buying a ring.

We're told he decided on a large, elongated oval-shaped diamond between 6 to 10 carats ... and Jack met Justin at his hotel in NYC to deliver it right before Bieber and Hailey left for the Bahamas.

Solow wouldn't spill the beans on the final price tag, but sources tell us it was around half a mil.

TMZ broke the story ... Justin proposed to Hailey Saturday night at their resort in front of the other guests, weeks after getting the blessing from her father.

She said yes.
