Alanis, Kim Sitting Ducks for Thieves Cops Say Social Media is Criminals' Bible

Alanis Morissette, Kim Kardashian and a bunch of other celebs have turned their social media accounts into a Thomas Guide for criminals who are looking for the most expensive jewelry in town.

Law enforcement sources tell us they believe Instagram and other platforms have become the undoing of famous folks who show off expensive bling. TMZ broke the story, Alanis was just hit by burglars who made off with $2 mil in jewelry.

No surprise ... Alanis has been posting photos of her bling on various social media platforms and her blog. Some of the rings, bracelets and other jewelry go for thousands and thousands of bucks.

Kim learned her lesson, but a slew of celebs continue to flaunt their wealth on social media.

Cops tell us it's simple for thieves to find out where people live, and by posting pics of jewelry in the home it becomes a roadmap for a quick hit. They say the problem is compounded when celebs post vacation photos in real time, because it's like a neon sign to break in.

Lil Yachty at the Grammys I Dropped $35k To Taste the Rainbow

Lil Yachty paid more to put a fresh grill in his mouth on Grammy night than most women spend on designer gowns for the event.

Icebox Diamonds & Watches tells us Yachty reached out last Tuesday and requested a grill to match his vibrant personality. That's exactly what he got. We're told each tooth is a different jewel -- white, blue and yellow diamonds, red rubies, and green emeralds.

It was $35,000 for the pair of grills ... and yes, that includes delivery. Icebox says a rep flew to L.A. on Sunday to hand off the rainbow-colored grill to Yachty just a few hours before the show.

He was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance but lost to Drake.

It wasn't a Grammy, but he still got some nice hardware out of the evening.

ICED OUT

Drake's been fitted with a new chain ... and the price alone could send someone into a pretty comfortable retirement.

Sources close to the rapper say Drizzy's new bling from jeweler Ben Baller hovers right around the $100k mark. We're told the piece features black, green, and canary yellow diamonds with 880 grams of gold. The pendant reads, "Stone Island" ... the company responsible for his current tour.

By the looks of the vid, Drake's pleased.

Kim Kardashian I'm Bling-Less Again ... In My Gaming World

Kim Kardashian's video game character is now just like the real deal ... missing the giant rock on her finger.

Animated Kim -- on her mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood -- relaunched sans ring ... and it was no accident. Our sources say the game always tries to maintain a similar story line to the happenings in Kim's real life -- so the diamond ring on virtual Kim just didn't make sense.

As we told you, Kim spent 3 days in NYC talking to a French judge about the ring and the whole robbery. We're guessing that won't be included in the game.

TMZSports.com

Looks like RECONCILIATION for Scottie Pippen and his estranged wife, Larsa -- the two had a pretty big date night in Hollywood together Monday night ... with Larsa sporting a FAT new diamond ring.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Scottie filed for divorce back in October following a series of domestic incidents at their Florida home. Larsa had called 911 multiple times but no arrests were ever made.

But that was then ... now, it seems they've made up -- because last night they looked very couply as they hit The Nice Guy in West Hollywood.

Inside the restaurant, Scottie was all smiles as he sang with David Foster. Kourtney Kardashian was also inside.

As for Larsa's new ring, she posted a pic calling it her Valentine's present. She wouldn't say who gave it to her when we asked ... but it seems pretty obvious now.

Lakers to Derek Fisher We'll Help You Replace Stolen Rings

Some good news for Derek Fisher ... he doesn't have to be ringless for long.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Fisher's L.A. home was burglarized on Monday and the ex-NBA star claimed $300k in jewelry was stolen including his 5 NBA Championship rings he won with the Lakers.

We spoke with a Lakers rep who tells us it IS possible for Fisher to get replacement rings and the team would be happy to work with the companies that made the bling to get new ones for Derek.

It doesn't mean the Lakers would pay for the new jewelry ... but they would essentially authorize the companies to manufacture brand new keepsakes for Fish.

Hopefully he's got good homeowners insurance.

Kim Kardashian Stolen Jewelry Melted Down for Pennies

Kim Kardashian will never get the jewelry that was stolen from her in Paris ... because almost all of it was melted down.

Paris law enforcement confirms to TMZ ... one of the thieves in the October robbery confessed everything but the ring was melted down ... because the robbers felt they'd be caught trying to sell the pieces.

According to Le Monde newspaper, the melted down bling was worth somewhere between $26k and $30k. Pretty shocking since the value of the melted down jewelry was $1.6 million.

As for the $4 million ring ... it's still intact, but law enforcement tells us there's almost no chance of finding it. As we reported, police believe it went almost immediately to the Belgium black market.

Iggy Azalea New BF Taunting French Montana ... With Her Bling & Dogs

Iggy Azalea's new guy is dissing French Montana hard by flaunting the diamonds French paid for -- or so it seems ... to French and anyone else with eyes.

Music producer Ljay Currie -- the guy Iggy was all over down in Mexico -- posted a photo with her dogs and some diamonds on his pinky. If the ring looks familiar it's because Iggy was flashing some ice that looks just like it.

French bought Iggy the rocks back in September.

Ljay's pic was posted last week -- before he and Iggy went public -- but we're told Iggy and French broke up right before the New Year. So, Ljay had to know the pic would piss off her ex. He even captioned it, "Bitch I'm a dog, Roof."

French reacted Tuesday on Twitter -- "Play with my emotions I'm shoot your punk Asss ... lol"

You damn well know he's not really LOL-ing.

A$AP Yams was immortalized this week in concert by the hip-hop community -- but he also lives on around the neck of A$AP Ferg ... diamond-studded and all.

Ferg was presented with a custom 14k white gold chain and piece featuring a new moniker for the late producer: Yamborghini. The piece is also laced with 65 carat diamonds ... meaning it'll burn your eyes out with its sparkle and shine.

The chain and piece was designed by jewelry company IF & Co., and took 1 month to design and make. We're told jeweler Ben Baller was personally responsible for overseeing its creation and transfer to Ferg for Wednesday night's Yams Day 2017 concert.

Yams died 2 years ago on January 18 due to a drug overdose.

No doubt about it now -- Yams' legacy will never fade ... diamonds are forever, after all.

Cesar Millan Home Burglarized They Came in Through the Bathroom Window!!

Cesar Millan got bit where it really hurts when someone broke into his house and made off with a ton of jewelry.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the break-in happened Thursday night at Cesar's home in Studio City, CA. We're told the burglar or burglars entered through an unlocked bathroom window -- and left with several hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of bling.

Sources close to the 'Dog Whisperer' say he had been in Asia on business for several weeks, but the good news is his security cameras were working. Cops say surveillance footage captured the heist in progress ... and will be critical to identifying any culprits.

No animals were harmed in this crime -- this home isn't the one where Cesar has his training facility.

A rep for Cesar tells us the Millan family requests privacy while they work with the police department to conduct a thorough investigation.

Soulja Boy Home Burglarized During War with Chris Brown

Soulja Boy's house was burglarized Tuesday ... in the throes of his war with Chris Brown that now has tinges of a gang feud.

Law enforcement sources tell us a man busted into Soulja's Hollywood Hills home early Tuesday morning. After busting the front door down the crook nabbed $10k in cash and $12k in jewelry.

We're told SB wasn't home at the time of the burglary ... but his house is wired with surveillance cameras, one of which captured the suspect's image.

TMZ broke the story ... Soulja and Chris Brown are taking their feud into a boxing ring -- probably in Dubai. Wack 100, who's siding squarely with Soulja, says very clearly the fight is being controlled by West Coast gangs. Chris' team, which includes Mike Tyson, begs to differ.

Cops are investigating the incident ... they were at the house again Wednesday afternoon. We're told so far there's no evidence Chris or his crew were involved.

Magic Johnson Sues I Got Screwed In $850k Jewelry Deal

File Under: Extremely Rich People Problems!

Magic Johnson says he borrowed $850,000 in fancy jewelry for his wife for their big 25th wedding anniversary last year ... only to get completely ripped off by the jeweler.

It's all part of a new lawsuit Johnson filed against Gina Amir Atelier ... a Bev Hills jewelry business that Johnson refers to as a "thieves den."

Long story short ... Johnson says the store took a $250k deposit so he could use 2 pieces of jewelry -- a gold and platinum ring covered in diamonds and a HUGE platinum necklace with 101 white diamonds.

Johnson says his wife, Cookie, wore the stuff and brought it back unharmed a week later -- but the store never returned his $250k deposit.

He claims the jewelers "conspired to defraud" him all along and says they used him as a "personal ATM." He's suing to get back his $250k.

Attempts to reach Gina for comment were unsuccessful.

Kim Kardashian Robbery Suspects Tied to Belgium's Illegal Diamond Trade

Kim Kardashian's robbers have strong ties to the illegal diamond trade in Belgium and now the country's federal police force is on what is probably a futile hunt to track down the bling.

Sources with knowledge of Belgium's "black market" for diamonds tell us several men arrested for the Paris robbery have ties to the market. There's a diamond district in Antwerp and shady jewelry shops do business just outside the perimeter ... that's likely where Kim's jewelry ended up.

Law enforcement sources in Belgium tell us their federal police force is investigating, but our sources say ... since more than 3 months have passed it'll be next to impossible to get the bling back. Stuff on the illegal market just moves around too quickly.
