Lindsay Lohan's renaissance is in full swing -- just take a look at the frenzy surrounding her in NYC this week while promoting her new movie ... it feels like 2004 all over again!

The actress was fully embracing her return to the spotlight Thursday while arriving at NBC Studios for an interview to plug her upcoming Netflix film "Irish Wish" -- which is set to start streaming on March 15 -- and if this doesn't scream A-list ... we don't know what does.

Check it out ... LiLo owned the moment as she signed autographs -- and let paps fire away for photos. She was even kind enough to speak with our photog to answer some questions.

We asked her how motherhood was treating her ever since welcoming her baby boy, Luai -- whom she shares with her hubby Bader Shammas -- and she actually gave us some insight into that ... telling our camera girl that she loves being a mom.

Lindsay's had her family with her while working here in the States lately -- even though she lives abroad. And with all these projects she's on these days ... it's clear she's ready to embrace the major stardom she once had in her youth.

It's pretty awesome to see, TBH ... sort of a full circle moment for her, and she seems more than ready to take it all on again.

Remember ... LL made a brief cameo/appearance in the recent "Mean Girls" remake and has also been confirmed for a "Freaky Friday" sequel ... so she's booked and busy.

Of course, she skyrocketed to fame as a child star in "The Parent Trap" and became an icon in teen/young adult movies thereafter -- but eventually, after some turbulence, she stepped away from the limelight and went overseas.

Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz has offloaded her lavish NYC condo ... and snagged a helluva haul for the sale.

Sources with knowledge of the transaction tell TMZ ... AL was able to sell this sweet home of hers for a whopping $10.6 million, closing on the deal last Thursday with the new buyer.

The price tag on the 4-bed, 3-bath apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side is totally justified given its sweeping, picture-perfect Central Park views but, of course, Annie's got a keen eye for capturing beauty, so it's no surprise the grand interiors are just as stunning.

The condo is sprawled out on two levels of living space and includes a powder room and home office ... all with high ceilings, inlaid hardwood floors, and moldings.

The grand formal dining room, complete with giant picture windows framing those Central Park West to South vistas, is one of its key selling points ... seamlessly opening up from the 32 by 20-foot living room via French doors, making it the perfect spot for entertaining.

There's a newly renovated eat-in kitchen outfitted with top-notch appliances, spacious custom cabinetry, and an adjacent butler's pantry ... proving that no expense was spared.

Millie and Jake have been engaged almost a year now -- and their romance reportedly first popped off sometime in 2021, when they first started posting pics together.

Cannolis go great with coffee, and these longtime lovebirds ordered some java and then hopped in a cab. Simple, yet effective ... and definitely romantic, no doubt.

There's a perfectly good reason, though ... our sources tell us PD was never technically contracted or scheduled to get on stage as an opener ... but we're told he was asked.

Here's what actually unfolded ... our sources say Matt extended an invite to Pete for his show, and while we're told the ex-'SNL'er would've loved to come and cheer on his pal -- our sources tell us he simply couldn't make it ... and he even told Matt directly.

On the face of it ... there seems to have been a misunderstanding/miscommunication between Matt and his own team ... that's what we're being told anyway. Pete relayed the message.

Our sources also add this ... Pete has nothing but love for Matt, but he couldn't make the show because he was already booked and busy with gigs of his own.

Pete had a stand-up show on Feb. 4, meaning he had to travel Feb. 3 to make it there -- both dates falling on Matt's shows in NYC. In addition to being in the middle of his own stand-up tour ... we're told Pete's also starting production on a film with Eddie Murphy.

So the big news here is that there really isn't any news at all. That's not to say Matt's performances lately haven't been eventful ... 'cause they certainly have.

Remember, porn star Lisa Ann was cuffed and dragged outta Matt's show for allegedly acting "drunk and disorderly," according to cops. Now, that was quite the dramatic scene.

1/24/23 -- Madonna's management and Live Nation tell TMZ ... "Madonna's just completed, sold out 2023 Celebration Tour in Europe received rave reviews. The shows opened in North America at Barclays in Brooklyn as planned, with the exception of a technical issue December 13th during soundcheck. This caused a delay that was well documented in press reports at the time. We intend to defend this case vigorously."

Madonna performed last night in NYC at Madison Square Garden. It was the second night of 3 sold out shows at the venue.

Madonna may have to learn a lesson in punctuality the hard way ... two men just filed a class action against her for starting her concerts late.

According to the docs obtained by TMZ ... Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden are leading the charge against the legendary pop star and concert organizer Live Nation claiming they owe big damages after shows scheduled to start at 8:30 PM ET didn't end up starting until 10:30 PM.

According to the lawsuit, the late starts constitute a "wanton exercise in false advertising, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair and deceptive trade practices."

The plaintiffs are suing for unspecified damages and taking aim at all three nights Madonna showed up late to Barclays Center in December -- but they say Madonna has a long-documented history of not starting on time (more on that later).

Another interesting note ... the plaintiffs acknowledge Madonna had a health issue which caused the concert to be pushed from July to December but don't think that's a sufficient excuse for kicking off the actual shows 2 hours late.

These guys also list their pricey tickets ... listing the dollar-amounts at $155.90 and $292.50, respectively. In their mind, that's money down the drain considering how late Madge was.

Remember... a serious bacterial infection put Madonna in the hospital, and sources told us she was fighting a fever for about a month before she finally collapsed. Obviously the tour was postponed ... finally kicking off in October.

We knew people were pissed about Madonna's tardiness BTW ... when the NYC shows went down back in December, fans took to social media to voice their displeasure at waiting for the Queen of Pop. (FWIW, a source at the time told us the delay was due to sound issues.)

If you think Madonna's sweating the lawsuit, think again ... cause this ain't the first time she's been sued over her late starts!! She was sued back in 2019 and in 2020 for pulling up late to her shows and -- in the case of the 2019 suit -- Madonna gave a G.O.A.T.ed response you gotta hear to believe.

The pop superstar and her two close buds went out in style, hitting up Nobu in Manhattan for some yummy sushi. The sexy trio rolled up in an SUV to the restaurant, before their chauffeur helped them out of the backseat onto the curb.

A slew of paparazzi photogs were snapping pictures as the women strolled up a small flight of stairs, disappearing inside the famed eatery.

As for their outfits ... Taylor wore a black dress with matching leather boots while carrying a clutch purse. Cara was also decked out in all black, sporting pants and a blazer with an undershirt. Mahomes chose a black and gray patterned mini skirt with black heeled boots. She also carried a white purse.

On Sunday, Taylor and co. began their celebration, partying like crazy after the Chiefs eked out a 27-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills to advance to the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Taylor had much to be happy about as her hunky beau, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, caught a touchdown pass from Brittany's hubby, QB Patrick Mahomes, during the game.

After the Chiefs won, Taylor, Brittany and Cara enjoyed lots of booze and fun conversations in their VIP suite at Buffalo's Highmark Stadium. Travis' All-Pro brother, Jason, and his wife, Kylie, joined the women and had a blast, too.

Madonna gave her daughter one of the biggest birthday presents imaginable -- getting a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden to sing along and help her ring in the big 1-8.

The pop star brought out her kid, Mercy, onstage Monday night during her show at MSG and showed off her incredible talent by having her play a little piano for the arena -- that is, before Mama Bear helped lead a full-blown sing-a-long for her to celebrate her born day.

It was a pretty sweet moment ... not only did Madge come over and belt out the tune, but a lot of her backup dancers and stage crew members also rushed the stage to join in.

Once they were finished with the song -- which almost everyone helped sing -- they brought out a little cupcake with Mercy for good measure ... complete with a candle and everything.

Madonna gave Mercy a hug afterward ... and it seems she stuck around to play more too.

Kathleen Corradi, the 6-figure salaried specialist hired by NYC Mayor Eric Adams to solve the problem, recently told us there's a 7% decrease in rat complaints ... but Lola thinks that's only because people have just stopped complaining.

Lola's a lifelong Brooklynite -- she tells us she grew up with rats in her home to no fault of her own and says it's basically time for the Rotten Apple to realize it's ... well, rotten.

Lindsay Lohan is proving once again she's so fetch ... 'cause the actress gave fans a huge surprise when she showed up to the premiere of the new "Mean Girls" film.

The star of the OG 2004 flick joined the cast of the new version Monday night in New York City -- which obviously was a mega treat for those in attendance.

Lindsay wasn't the only one walking down memory lane at the event -- Tina Fey was also flashing smiles with the cast in the Big Apple.

As you know, she's reprising her role as Ms. Norbury ... and she also wrote the screenplay for the new film, as well as the musical that came before it.

Tim Meadows also makes a "Mean Girls" return in the new movie, but it looks like he didn't join his past and present cast members on the pink carpet. Folks like Megan Thee Stallion, Reneé Rapp, Jon Hamm, Lorne Michaels, and many more were there, too.

It's not clear if Lindsay makes a cameo in the new flick -- that would be pretty sweet -- but she did reunite with her former cast members Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert for a "Mean Girls"-themed commercial for Walmart last year.

Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George in the 2004 version, was notably absent from the ad ... and told Variety she "wasn't that excited about doing a commercial," and was unaware her fellow "Plastics" would be involved.

BTW, it looks like hardly anyone was wearing pink to the premiere ... but to be fair, it wasn't Wednesday.

Big Daddy Kane has 0 objections to the proposal to turn Jay-Z's birthday into a holiday in NYC ... saying Hov's successes are worth celebrating.

BDK caught up with TMZ Hip Hop on Thursday and connected the ascension of hip hop over the past 50 years to Jay's billionaire status ... a signal he says makes Jay more than deserving of the honor.

New York City Councilmembers have been pining for legislation to officially make December 4 "Jay-Z Day" for his years of contributions to society.

Hip hop historians note it was BDK who first mentored Jay as he was beginning his career ... even introduced him to the world on "Rap City" back in 1990 -- 6 years before Jay dropped his debut album.
