Bronny James now has a spot on the NBA's all-time scoring list -- the Lakers rookie drained his first regular season bucket on Wednesday ... and fittingly enough, it was in his hometown!!

The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated the Los Angeles Lakers in a 134-110 blowout win at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse ... and in the closing minutes of the contest, the crowd chanted, "We want Bronny."

Lakers head coach JJ Redick gave the fans what they wanted ... subbing Bronny in with about five minutes left.

Dwyane Wade's new statue ain't just feeling the heat from internet trolls ... at least one former NBA star is clowning it as well -- with Chris Webber telling TMZ Sports he thinks the monument looks like Morpheus!

We caught up with C Webb out at LAX on Tuesday -- and when we asked about the Wade sculpture that was just erected at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Sunday ... he couldn't help but roast the artwork.

He told us he thinks it looks more like Laurence Fishburne's character in "The Matrix" ... or even Chris Rock's Pookie from "New Jack City."

Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks broke his leg and badly dislocated his ankle during his team's game Monday night ... and the gruesome injury was, unfortunately, all captured by TV cameras.

The horrifying moment happened in the third quarter of Utah's tilt with the Mavericks in Dallas, when Hendricks slipped and landed on top of his leg awkwardly.

The game's broadcast video shows once his full body weight crashed down to the floor -- his limb snapped underneath him -- and almost immediately, he began writhing in pain.
