'Basketball Wives' Purse Snatching Between Wives Ruins Vacay

A "Basketball Wives" vacation to Tahiti ended early for one cast member after an argument between two girls ended with one refusing to give back the other's purse ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, Tami Roman and Kesha Nichols got into it last month about halfway through the trip because Tami felt Kesha was talking behind the other girls' backs. We're told the two had it out over dinner and Kesha stormed out ... leaving her purse behind.

Our sources say Tami took the purse and held on to it, hoping Kesha would come retrieve it and they could finish their conversation. But when Kesha found out Tami had retreated back to her hotel room with the purse, we're told Kesha got hotel security involved.

Hotel security wanted to get the local police involved, but our sources say the producers of the show talked Tami into returning the purse to Kesha before the authorities got involved.

We're told once the matter was settled, Kesha decided to hop the next plane back to the States.

Last time the girls went on vacation, it was to Italy ... and Tami punched cast member Meeka Claxton during a nightclub brawl.

Calls to reps for both girls and VH1 were not returned.

'Basketball Wives' Star I Didn't Know My Ex-Fiance WAS BROKE!

Evelyn Lozada claims she did nothing wrong when she accepted over half a million dollars from her ex-fiancé, former NBA star Antoine Walker, because she had no idea he was in debt ... this according to court docs filed this week.

As TMZ first reported, the "Basketball Wives" star is being sued by the bankruptcy trustee in Walker's case who claims Walker funneled money to her while they were engaged as a way to hide if from his creditors.

Lozada has responded to the suit with an answer filed Friday in bankruptcy court in Miami. She claims she was not aware of Walker's financial problems and questionable business deals.

According to the docs, Lozada denies the allegation that Walker's money was used to open her shoe store, Dulce. She says any money she got from Walker was "used for the ordinary living expenses of the [Walker] and his household" and that she was simply an intermediary for Walker.

Lozada and Walker broke up a few years back and she is now engaged to NFL star Chad Ochocinco Johnson.

'Basketball Wives' Star Accused of House Key Theft

"Basketball Wives" star Jennifer Williams' feud with Evelyn Lozada's assistant ain't over -- TMZ has learned, the assistant is now taking their beef to the police ... accusing Jennifer of stealing her house keys.

The assistant -- Nia Crooks (right) -- filed a theft report against Jennifer Monday with the Hallandale Police Department, claiming JW is refusing to return the house keys Nia loaned her two months ago ... back when they were still friends.

TMZ broke the story -- Jennifer filed a battery report against Nia last month, claiming the assistant got violent with her at a "Basketball Wives" shoot at some Florida racetrack ... and we're told, tensions have been running high ever since.

According to sources, Jennifer has been making thinly-veiled threats to Nia since the racetrack scuffle -- things like "watch your back" -- and Nia doesn't feel comfortable with Jennifer having a key to her house.

We're told Nia has repeatedly asked Jennifer to return the keys to no avail -- so she's turning to law enforcement for help, completely baffled by Jennifer's behavior.

Calls to Jennifer have not been returned.

'Basketball Wives' Police Report Filed After On-Set Scuffle

A peaceful day of filming "Basketball Wives" at a racetrack in Florida ended up in a fight between Jennifer Williams and an assistant for Evelyn Lozada ... and it's all detailed in a police report obtained by TMZ.

Sources close to the show tell TMZ ... the girls were all in a VIP suite at the Gulf Stream Race Track in Hallandale, FL last Saturday. We're told Nia Crooks -- who is Evelyn's assistant and to be friends with Jennifer as well -- called out Jennifer ... who the other girls feel has become "too big for britches."

According to our sources, the two got face-to-face and Nia pushed Williams in the face to get her away. In the police report, Williams described it as being "intentional struck by Crooks with an open hand to the left side of her face."

Williams told police security from the production company then stepped in to intervene. Our sources say that's true ... but that security also grabbed Lozada to keep her from jumping in after Williams.

In the report, the officer states he saw no injuries on Williams and told her she could file a misdemeanor complaint with the state attorney’s office if she wanted to pursue the matter further.

The police report also states Williams believes the entire incident was captured on video.

Calls to VH1 were not returned.

'Basketball Wives' Gunning to Snag Vanessa Bryant

Vanessa Bryant has become the Holy Grail for "Basketball Wives" producers ... and TMZ has learned, the people behind the VH1 show are prepping to make her an offer she can't refuse.

Multiple sources close to the production tell us, producers are putting together "an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa" ... for her to become a recurring character.

As one source put it, “Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level.”

As for the timing -- we're told producers never dreamed of approaching Vanessa while she was married to Kobe ... and our sources say Vanessa would NOT have been receptive.

Budget constraints were also an issue when the show was in its infant stages -- because producers knew Vanessa would be very expensive -- but now that BW's one of the highest rated shows on the network, producers have lots more to spend on talent.

If Vanessa accepts, we're told producers would instantly make her a LEAD on the LA edition of the show.

Chad Ochocinco & Evelyn Lozada Wedding Is Back On!

Chad Ochocinco has saved his relationship with Evelyn Lozada the old fashioned way ... with a lot of groveling ... and the wedding is back on, this according to sources close to the couple.

As TMZ first reported, Lozada put their wedding plans on hold after she suspected Ocho was stepping out on her.

But according to our sources, Ocho broke down this week and apologized. We're told Ocho said he would do whatever it took to win her back and suggested the two go to couple's counseling.

Our sources say Evelyn agreed and they will seek help to work out their trust issues.

Through a rep, Evelyn tells TMZ, "The strain from both our busy schedules started to take a serious toll on our relationship. Yet after spending some much needed quality time together, Chad and I are in a good space."

'Basketball Wives' BITCH FIGHT Over Hair Extensions!

YOU SKANK, YOU STOLE MY HAIR!!! ... that's the essence of a new -- and might we say hilarious -- lawsuit against "Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman.

Constance Corleone -- who owns an extension line called Bella Dream Hair -- filed the case, claiming Tami's rep contacted her last September and asked to try out Constance's product.

According to the suit, Constance obliged, and then was horrified to learn Tami had fired up her own extension line under the name, Curls By Roman. What's worse, Constance claims, Tami was advertising her line with a pic of her wearing Constance's extensions.

Thus began a serious of very funny tweets, including one from Tami which read, "Fraudulent people trying to take credit NOT. People trying to take credit for this hair. WTF they crazy."

After some back and forth, with Constance demanding that Tami send her extensions back to her, Tami tweeted, "Mad that I already mailed that S**T back2u cuz I got they address-would took it to Constance myself lying bitch."

Constance is suing for more than $500k.

What tangled webs they weave ...

'Basketball Wives' Star Sued for Helping Blow NBA Star's Fortune

Evelyn Lozada -- one of the stars of "Basketball Wives" who was once engaged to former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker -- is being sued for allegedly receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars illegally.

The story is shocking. Walker raked in a whopping $110 million during his NBA career, in addition to untold millions in endorsements and other deals ... and he blew ALL OF IT and a lot more.

Walker filed for bankruptcy last year, and now the bankruptcy trustee smells a rat. It seems Walker gave Lozada $560,000 when he already knew he was going belly up. The trustee has sued Lozada, claiming the transfer was fraudulent -- an attempt to hide money from legitimate creditors.

The trustee says Lozada used the money to start a Miami shoe store called Dulce, and now the trustee wants the $560k back.

We're told Lozada and Walker insist there was no funny business. He gave her the money to help pay her bills. Sources say Lozada funded Dulce NOT with the $560k, but by selling her engagement ring. And, our sources say, Lozada had no idea Walker was so deep in debt.

Rich people's problems ...

Kobe Bryant Busted by Basketball Wives

A secret underground society of trained spies is responsible for feeding intel to Vanessa Bryant that eventually led to her filing for divorce from hubby Kobe Bryant -- not the CIA or FBI ... but the basketball wives of the NBA.

Our sources says Kobe's teammates were blabbing to their women about the superstar's exploits ... and those women in turn gave Vanessa the heads up. We're told talk of Kobe's exploits lately increased in frequency.

According to our sources, the players often swear their wives to secrecy before dishing on their fellow ballers ... but that secrecy is rarely kept. We're told the women all share information about other guys around the league ... in part to ensure word will get back to them if their man ever steps out.

As TMZ first reported, Vanessa filed divorce papers on Friday, after Vanessa learned of what she says is an act of infidelity that became the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.

'Basketball Wives' Star Sued Alleged Ungrateful Cheapskate

"Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman is being sued by her ex-manager ... who claims he helped make Tami rich and famous -- but she refuses to pay him for a job well done.

Jerry Silverhardt filed the lawsuit Monday in L.A. County Superior Court -- claiming he was instrumental in securing Tami's "Basketball Wives" gig ... but instead of being grateful, she fired his ass.

Jerry claims Tami paid him for Season Two -- but then left him out to dry after she ended their relationship in February ... refusing to pay for work she did on the recently completed Season 3.

According to Jerry, Tami's oral contract with him is crystal clear ... she owes him 10% no matter what on all "Wives" paychecks for seasons 3 through 6 -- and she better pay up, stat.

10:12 AM PT: Tami tells TMZ, "Mr. Silverhardt was terminated long ago and has been appropriately compensated for the personal management services he rendered. This is a sad attempt from a broken man to reap rewards on a situation he did not sow."

'Basketball Wives' Adding Two Controversial New Cast Members

The producers of "Basketball Wives" are upping the drama level big time for season 4 -- adding two new cast members ... one of which was arrested earlier this year for allegedly trying to stab her husband!

Sources close to the show tell TMZ ... Kenya Bell (right) will be joining the show this coming season. We're told during filming so far ... Kenya has already assumed the role of villain and gotten into a few fights with the girls.

Bell is a former Miss Michigan USA who was arrested for allegedly trying to stab her husband, Charlie Bell, with a box cutter.

The other new cast member, we're told, is Kesha Ni’cole Nichols. She was set to marry Richard Jefferson back in 2009, but he bailed on the $2 million wedding the night ... telling her via email.

According to our sources, Nichols talks openly about the wedding on the show and has thus far been well-liked by the rest of the cast.

Evelyn Lozada 'Basketball Wives' Made Her An Offer She Couldn't Refuse

Evelyn Lozada was all set to leave "Basketball Wives" and not return for the show's fourth season -- until the show offered her a deal she just couldn't turn down ... which, TMZ has learned, includes her own spin-off show.

As TMZ previously reported, Evelyn had made up her mind that she was done with the show for good after VH1 posted a blog insinuating she cheated on her husband, NFL star Chad Ochocinco.

Once Evelyn let producers know she was out, that's when we're told they really made a push to keep her.

According to our sources, her new arrangement with the show has her shooting about half as often (but with a raise) and that she can work around her daughter's school schedule. We're also told Evelyn has made it clear ... she will not miss any of Chad's games.

But according to our sources, the final carrot that sealed the deal ... was that VH1 promised to spin off Evelyn and Chad into their own show. We're told that show would document the months leading up to their wedding ... but so far no deal to shoot the wedding has been made.

Calls to VH1 were not returned.

'Basketball Wife' Legal Threats Over Chris Brown Sex Tape Allegations

"Basketball Wives L.A." star Draya Michele is telling friends she NEVER, EVER filmed herself having sex with Chris Brown ... and now she wants to sue someone's ass over reports that such a tape exists.

Draya and Brown dated for roughly nine months back in 2010 ... but we're told the reality star is adamant that they never filmed their sexual exploits ... not once.

Now, sources close to Draya tell us ... she's already contacted lawyers, hoping to take action against whoever is responsible for spreading the "false information."

As for Chris -- his reps also claim the reports are completely bogus.

Jayson Williams' Estranged Wife OUT of 'Basketball Wives: LA'

Tanya Williams, the estranged wife of incarcerated former NBA star Jayson Williams, will not be back for season 2 of "Basketball Wives: LA" ... in fact, she wasn't even invited to the reunion show!

Sources close to the production tell TMZ ... Tanya never fit in with the rest of the girls, who often didn't know what to talk to Tanya about.

Tanya filmed enough material for the entire season ... but we're told producers decided to phase her out after the first few episodes and did not invite her to partake in the reunion episode, which airs next week.

Williams tells us producers informed her manager they did not want to "move forward" with the relationship. She says the split is amicable, telling us, "I wish everyone involved continued success with the show."

Calls to VH1 were not returned.

'Basketball Wives' Star Splits with L.A. Lakers Player

The NBA offseason from hell just got worse for Los Angeles Lakers player Matt Barnes ... who just announced that he's officially broken up with his "Basketball Wives" baby mama Gloria Govan.

Barnes -- who has 2 children with Govan -- just released a statement saying, "We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time."

He adds, "We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best."

Barnes and Govan have had some issues in the past -- including the time Matt was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence back in 2010 ... but prosecutors didn't press charges due to a lack of evidence.

Evelyn Lozada I'm Quitting 'Basketball Wives' FOR GOOD!

We've heard it all before -- but this time Evelyn Lozada says NO AMOUNT of money can bring her back for season 4 of VH1's "Basketball Wives."

Sources close to Evelyn tell TMZ -- Lozada made up her mind yesterday, after VH1 posted a blog implying Evelyn may have cheated on Chad Ochocinco with his former teammate Terrell Owens.

We're told Evelyn is furious -- claiming the rumor is simply UNTRUE -- and she feels betrayed by the network. VH1 has since pulled the blog -- but Lozada has already decided enough is enough ... and she's told producers she won't be returning.

Sources tell us Evelyn is now looking for other opportunities -- and will focus on planning her upcoming wedding to Ochocinco.
