Ja Rule is excited to be an uncle once again -- through Ashanti and Nelly's pending bundle of joy, and he thinks parenthood will be a cinch for them.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Ja Thursday in NYC, where he told us he's been tracking the news updates on his forever collaborator/friend just like everyone else.

Now, Ja stopped short of confirming the baby buzz is true -- but Ashanti and Nelly have, seemingly, leaned into the reports they're expecting their first child together.

They still won't say for sure, so much like Halle Bailey and DDG, we might just have to wait and see if the stork delivers.

Ja's had several youngins of his own, so, naturally, he had some advice for Ashanti and Nelly on how best to raise their little tyke ... assuming there's really one in the oven.

BTW, JR's also expecting -- not a tiny human, but the release of his first album in well over a decade.

He told us fans can expect a project reminiscent of "all" of his previous sounds.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Nick in West Hollywood on Thursday and tickled him with the news of Zeddy, the 21-year-old TikTok star and rapper who just went viral for his 5-way baby shower ... and all the child's mothers were happily along for the ride.

Zeddy Will credited Nick for "redefining modern relationships" -- of course, the scenario and many like it mirror Nick's family tree of 12 children -- and Nick tells us inspiration is his forte... but also warned the young lad not to ignore his self-care.

He'll have 10 personalities to deal with -- the 5 new babies and their mothers!!!

Nick instructs ZW to stock up on sleep and also seek therapy ... sounds like sound advice ... he recently highlighted the frazzle dazzle of parenthood in his new chicken wings ad spot.

Who knows, maybe the two will collaborate down the line ... multi-platform hip hop content creators with multiple children ... there's still speculation Zeddy might be fakin' everything for a music video.

Zeddy Will, the baby-faced rapper from the same hood as Nas and Mobb Deep who's been racking up millions of streams on TikTok, is facing a serious "Sister Wives" situation ... he's expecting 5 babies very soon!!!

The 22-year-old recently hosted a baby shower with all 5 of his baby mothers ... a shocking sight to many, but his team tells us they strongly believe he has the trajectory of a young Will Smith, and is mature enough to shoulder the responsibility.

Shawn Prez, Zeddy's co-manager, tells TMZ Hip Hop ... "Society has shifted, and in turn so has modern relationship dynamics. The essence lies in redefining relationships personally, breaking away from the one-size-fits-all approach and societal pressures to conform."

Of course, Nick's never shied away from his parental duties, and never has an issue jumping through hoops to see his kids ... which likely will become Zeddy's destiny soon enough.

One of the expectant moms, Lizzy Ash, also happily posted from the baby shower ... no one appears to be tripping, and in these times, their stories are bound to be spun into reality show gold.

Josh Duhamel has something new to celebrate ... he's a dad again!

The actor and his model wife Audra Mari welcomed their first child, Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel, on January 11, announcing the exciting news Tuesday night on Instagram with a photo of the little one's feet. As far as feet go, Shepherd is one helluva cutie!

As you probably know, Josh has another son, 10-year-old Axl, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Fergie.

In a September 2023 interview, Josh told Parade that Axl had a funny reaction when he learned he was going to be an older brother.

Axl wanted reassurance that he was still the firstborn and Josh was still going to love him after Shepherd was born.

Of course, Josh confirmed all of the above, adding that Axl is a "really sweet kid" and "loves babies!"

Sounds like Axl and Shepherd are gonna hit it off.

DDG and Halle Bailey's newborn son is already being primed for superstardom -- his proud papa couldn't wait to hit the town and splurge on high-end baby gear!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with DDG this week outside English Rabbit -- a posh Bev Hills children's boutique -- where he celebrated fatherhood by dropping $5k in that one store.

The child will be "Moonwalking in Calabasas" in his baby kicks just like his daddy in no time!!!

DDG and Halle announced their son Halo's birth last week, which was the first time they even confirmed the months of speculation about them expecting.

Even though fans were buzzing about it, DDG says he and Halle never felt like they had to cave to social media pressure ... and only decided to introduce Halo when they felt comfortable doing so.

DDG also discussed the stereotypical "horrors" of new parenthood, which he says is mostly 🧢.

He says he and the 'Little Mermaid' star are already diaper-changing pros and have a good rotating schedule for late-night crying ... a sound neither one of them minds hearing.

Kali Uchis and Don Toliver are the latest musical couple expecting a bundle of joy -- the R&B stars popped the lid off their baby-making secret with an IG reveal on Thursday.

The soon-to-be parents both shared a heartfelt video that not only chronicled their baby's journey in their womb but also included footage of them both as children.

Kali capped off the vid with a loving message to their newborn ... "Starting our family❤️‍🩹 don’t take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can’t wait to share our life with you."

The two began dating in 2020 and are also frequent in-studio collaborators with one another.

The film reunites BB with her longtime director Nicholaus Goossen, who primed her for the bigtime shooting a bunch of her star-studded videos in the past ... including "Gucci Flip Flops" with David Spade and "Trust Me" with Bella Thorne, Theo Von and Ty Dolla $ign.

Danielle plays a girl who works at a smoke shop and the cast is rounded out by Bill Burr, Beverly D’Angelo, Esther Povitsky, Miranda Cosgrove, Haley Joel Osment and many more.

Ryan Garcia had a little good news/bad news sitch on his hands this week -- first, he's a father to a new baby ... plus, he's apparently leaving his wife who just delivered said baby.

The lightweight boxing phenom made shocking back-to-back announcements Friday evening, almost instantaneously ... namely, breaking happy news that he and his partner, Andrea Celina, had recently welcomed a boy into the world ... whom they named Henry Leo.

Within the hour of posting pics of his new kid -- which is actually his second with AC -- RG threw up a downer of a post ... in which he declared he and Andrea were getting divorced.

Ryan's birth post was jubilant, reading ... "Honored To announce my Beautiful First Born SON PRAISE THE LORD. I am so thankful, I love him so much already. He is so fast already haha. Took him just 8 min to arrive You know where he got that speed from lol. GOD DID! And GOD WILL ... THANK YOU LORD I LOVE YOU."

In a since-deleted IG post that went up almost immediately after the baby announcement, Ryan said he and Andrea were ending their marriage ... which was eye-popping for a couple different reasons. For starters, no one seemed to know they were already hitched.

Of course the bigger reason is ... it was literally the very next thing he posted.. Ryan wrote in part, "As I step into a new chapter in my life, it's with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce." He goes on to say that they remain committed to co-parenting their two children, etc. Now, it's a bit unclear if he and Andrea are on the same page here.

Andrea herself did not post the divorce statement, and Ryan's now scrubbed it from his page -- even though it was publicly up for well over 12 hours. Andrea has since posted some cryptic messages of her own on her IG Story ... perhaps suggesting she's mad at him.

It's a strange turn of events ... especially considering they've been together since 2019. Now that Ryan's taken down his divorce announcement -- we're not quite sure where things stand.

En un post de IG ahora borrado, que subió casi inmediatamente después del anuncio del bebé, Ryan dijo que él y Andrea estaban poniendo fin a su matrimonio, lo que era llamativo por un par de razones. Para empezar, nadie parecía saber que ya estaban casados.

Por supuesto, la razón más importante fue, literalmente, lo siguiente que publicó. Ryan escribió, en parte: "Al entrar en un nuevo capítulo en mi vida, es con el corazón pesado que comparto que Drea y yo hemos decidido divorciarnos". Continuó diciendo que siguen comprometidos con la crianza de sus dos hijos, etc. Ahora, no queda claro si él y Andrea están en la misma página aquí.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Sarah Jane -- who's pregnant with the Dallas Cowboys superstar's baby -- reached out to Chesler Customs at the beginning of December to get the one-of-a-kind Nike kicks made for her man for the December holiday.

She asked for them to feature their favorite flower -- a rose -- and she wanted a matching pair for herself too.

The footwear artist was able to get it all done by the 25th -- and as you can see, they came out awesome.

Prescott's pair features a rose in black paint, while Sarah's shoes are adorned in pink ... and Chesler says it all took him about 10 hours to put together.

"It’s an unbelievable feeling for sure," Chesler said of making custom kicks for NFL's potential MVP. "I dreamed of moments like this when I first started customizing shoes. It’s definitely a dream come true!"

The 2x Pro Bowl signal-caller and Sarah -- who's worked in the hospitality industry -- have kept their relationship mostly under wraps ... but recently, they've started opening up about their love for each other on social media.

"Es totalmente diferente", dijo la estrella de atletismo esta semana. "No estaba lidiando con todo el drama de antes".

"No tengo que entrenar a las 4 de la mañana y hacer todas esas locuras, así que esa parte es buena".

Felix, junto con su esposo, el velocista estadounidense Kenneth Ferguson, anunció el Día de Acción de Gracias que están esperando su segundo hijo para abril de 2024 y la pareja -que se casó en 2018- va a tener un niño.

Las buenas noticias vienen cinco años después de la experiencia potencialmente mortal de Felix con su primer embarazo, cuando tuvo que someterse a una cesárea de emergencia después de un desarrollo de preeclampsia a las 32 semanas.

"Ahora sé muchas cosas y conozco mejor los riesgos y todo lo que experimenté antes", dijo Felix, "Así que esa parte será más fácil".

11-time Olympic medalist Allyson Felix says pregnancy is like a walk in the park this time around ... telling TMZ Sports she loves not having to worry about training or chaos!!

Of course, Felix became an advocate for maternal protections in women's sports after she lost sponsorship money during her first pregnancy ... leaving her feeling abandoned for having a kid on the way.

Now that she's retired from the sport, she is more at ease with the process ... especially since she doesn't have an early wakeup call.

"It's totally different," the track and field star said this week. "I wasn't dealing with all the drama from before."

"Now, yeah, I don't have to train at 4 o'clock in the morning and do all that crazy stuff so that part is good."

Felix, along with her husband, American sprinter Kenneth Ferguson, announced on Thanksgiving they are expecting their second child in April 2024 ... and the couple -- who married in 2018 --  are having a boy.

The new bundle of joy is five years after Felix's life-threatening experience with her first pregnancy ... when she had to get an emergency C-section following a development of pre-eclampsia at 32 weeks.

"I know a lot now and I kinda know the risks and everything that I experienced before," Felix said, "So, that part, you know, that part is better."

The traumatic incident motivated Felix -- who retired in 2022 -- to speak out for expecting black women, who research says deal with racial bias in the health care system.

She's also working hard on her shoe company Spaysh and being part of the IOC Athletes Commission to support track stars like herself.
