Too Short's got an easy explanation for why he held off on becoming a father until now ... he was too busy pouring his time and energy into hooking up with ladies ... lots of 'em.

The legendary rapper was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and wasn't the least bit shy about why he waited until the ripe age of 53 to become a father. Too Short point-blank says he was enjoying his celebrityhood and all the trappings that came with it.

Translation: He was too busy being daddy to be someone's dad.

Jenna Dewan and her BF are in the market for new digs with their baby on the way.

Jenna and Steve Kazee were out Monday house hunting in the San Fernando Valley ... with Jenna's daughter -- with Channing Tatum -- Everly, also tagging along.

Jenna wore a rather loose jumpsuit ... so no sign of a baby bump. It's unclear how far along the actress is in her pregnancy.

Too Short is leaving the player life behind ... and moving forward with fatherhood!!!

Sources close to the "I'm a Player" rapper tell TMZ ... Too Short is a proud father, welcoming his first child into the world at the tender age of 53, and he's been keeping the news under wraps until now.

Our sources say Too Short's girlfriend, Sue, gave birth to their daughter back in December ... and they named their baby girl Yani Shaw.

Too Short is wasting no time introducing his daughter to the spotlight from an early age ... we're told he's already been shooting a documentary with Ray J and his manager, David Weintraub, and the film's all about raising their little girls in Hollywood.

Tana Mongeau says Kylie Jenner imparted some useful words of wisdom on the journey of pregnancy -- which, apparently, won't be put to good use anytime soon.

The YouTuber was leaving Poppy Monday night in WeHo, where our camera guy asked if KJ was able to offer some knowledge on managing the preggo life. As it turns out ... she did!!! But, unfortunately, it's not gonna benefit Tana for the time being -- especially considering the state we caught her in here ... drunk as a skunk.

Some quick backstory ... Tana posted a photo of her and Kylie last week, saying the KarJenner gave her pregnancy advice -- which was the latest troll move between her and her "husband," Jake Paul. There's a big dispute over whether Tana's pregnant or not.

You'll recall ... Tana pulled a big preggo-scare prank on Jake about a month ago, which she documented on her YouTube channel. Based on his reaction to her baby news, it sure seemed like he bought it at the time. Looks like he's trying to get her back for that.

Speaking of her relationship with Jake -- AKA, their not-legal marriage -- we picked Tana's brain about that too. Specifically ... how the not-living together was going.

Dennis Rodman says his relationship with Madonna could have been a lot richer for him ... if he could have only gotten her pregnant, 'cause the "Material Girl" offered him $20 million for a baby.

The Worm sat down on "The Breakfast Club" with Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee when the talk turned to his mid-90's relationship with Madonna.

That's when Dennis dropped the bombshell, saying that Madonna was so hard up to have his baby at the time, that she was willing to shell out BIG CASH for progeny.

"She asked me that if I got her pregnant she'd pay me $20 million."

Rodman says there was only one catch, and that was that the baby had to be born for him to collect the loot. Here's the thing though, it doesn't seem like Dennis is kidding around here.

It didn't stop there, Rodman says he doesn't think he's the only guy Madonna made the offer to, claiming that her pregnancy -- and child -- with Miami trainer Carlos Leon might've been a similar arrangement.

Diddy and Lori Harvey aren't taking their relationship to the next level just yet -- as in becoming parents -- but they're heading in that direction ... sources close to the couple tell TMZ.

As we reported ... Diddy and Lori set off pregnancy rumors last weekend coming back from another romantic getaway in Cabo, after Diddy and Lori became super handsy with her belly.

Turns out, it wasn't a hint she's having a bambino ... they were just playin'.

Sources close to the couple tell us Diddy was touching her tummy because he was complimenting her on her tight abs ... as she was flaunting them with her open shirt.

Here's the thing ... we're told the rap mogul and Steve Harvey's 22-year-old daughter are getting very serious. The fact they've been inseparable the past few months -- in NYC, Italy and elsewhere -- paints a pretty clear picture.

Rihanna shined bright like a diamond at her annual gala -- the brightest in the room -- and that's saying a lot considering the shindig hosted TONS of other celebs.

Riri threw her 5th annual Diamond Ball Thursday night in NYC. The soiree benefits the Clara Lionel Foundation ... it's the name of her grandparents. The org helps impoverished communities around the world with funding for education and health.

'Late Night' host Seth Meyers hosted the event where there was no shortage of big stars ... Cardi B, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Carmelo and La La Anthony just to name a few.

Some of the performers included Pharrell, DJ Khaled, G-Eazy, 2 Chainz, Fat Joe, Fabolous, A$AP Ferg and Yo Gotti. Interesting to note ... no sign of Rihanna's billionaire boyfriend.

One thing's for sure ... she knows how to throw one helluva party.

DJ Khaled is about to add another executive producer to the family ... he and his wife are expecting their second child together.

Khaled announced the big news Thursday, and safe to say he's super pumped to add to his growing family ... calling his wife's pregnancy a blessing and saying he's more musically inspired than ever.

As you know ... DJ Khaled absolutely LOVES being a father and doting on his kid, so much so, he made his first son Asahd a friggin' executive producer on his 10th studio album, "Grateful," when the kid was only 4 months old!!!

Asahd is almost 3 years old now, and he won't be an only child for long ... he's about to have a baby brother. No word on a name for the little man, at least not yet.

Congrats, and we can't wait to see how many albums Khaled's baby boy produces before learning to walk. The bar's been set pretty high.

Diddy and Lori Harvey's whirlwind summer romance just wrapped its Mexican leg, and it looks like it was a very successful vacay, and by that we mean ... they're doing a lot of belly rubbing!

The Bad Boy honcho and Steve Harvey's daughter arrived at the Cabo San Lucas airport Sunday on their way back stateside. Cabo was just the latest hot getaway for the couple -- remember, they were just in Italy along with her dad.

Speaking of which, Steve might take interest in a couple of these pics ... at one point, Diddy reached under Lori's blouse and appeared to rub her stomach. Lori did the same to herself.

So, here's the rub ... the gesture made photogs think they'd just saw a sign Lori is pregnant. Could be as innocent as a convo about a big lunch, or maybe a tummy ache. Still, we reached out to Diddy's rep. No word back yet.

After Lori and Diddy returned home, she quickly took off on another trip ... sans her BF, while he's hanging at home.

Logic says he's no Bobby Fischer when it comes to chess, but he's feeling confident enough to challenge one of our photogs to a match ... and dropping bombs about his love life!!!

We got the rapper at Catch Thursday night in West Hollywood, where he had just finished dinner, and he was holding a very interesting accessory ... a friggin' chessboard.

Logic admits he's far from a grandmaster -- maybe that's why he's practicing at the dinner table -- but when our guy asks if he's down for a quick game, Logic jumps at the offer and sets a few parameters.

Speaking of chess pieces, Logic's got his own queen ... telling us his dinner date, Brittney Noell, is his wife now, and they're expecting!!!

We broke the story ... Logic and Brittney took a trip to the courthouse in July to take out a marriage license ... and turns out they followed through to tie the knot.

BTW ... Logic's kept things with Brittney under wraps, so it's pretty rare to see them out together.

Logic dropped a freestyle last month and said he was having a little boy, but he never revealed the child's mother ... until now.

Chris Brown's adding a lil' Breezy to his family ... TMZ has learned.

CB and and his ex-girlfriend, Ammika Harris, are expecting their first child together, and sources in the know tell us ... it's a boy.

The child will be Ammika's first, and a half brother to Brown's 5-year-old daughter, Royalty, whom he shares with Nia Guzman.

We're told Chris and his baby mama -- who are no longer together -- are getting along well. She's happy with the way Chris is treating her ... financially, medically and emotionally.

News the former couple is having a child together broke in June, but fans had their suspicions as early as May 8 when Chris commented on one of Harris' photos, "BM BAD" ... the BM assumed to be code for "baby mama."

Turns out, they were right!!!

"Little Women: LA" star Christy Gibel has some great news in the middle of her nasty legal war with her estranged husband -- she's pregnant!!! With her new boyfriend, NOT her ex.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Christy's expecting a child with her BF, Gonzo. We're told she's a few months along but just found out recently, and they don't know the baby's gender yet.

Christy is 42 years old, so the pregnancy is high-risk, but our sources say everyone is happy, healthy and very excited ... especially her 19-year-old daughter, Autumn, from a previous relationship.

We're told Christy is currently in New York with Gonzo ... far away from her estranged husband, Todd.

We broke the story ... despite being married for 5 years, Christy's seeking to annul their marriage because she claims it was never consummated, and she alleges he committed financial fraud.

Todd called BS in legal docs last week, claiming the 2 definitely had sex during their marriage and denying the fraud allegations.

Christy's relationship with Todd has been rocky, to say the least, and ya gotta think her getting pregnant with her new man ... won't exactly smooth things over.

Our guy asks the 40-year-old model if she's had any crazy cravings, and her answer might be a bit surprising. She tells us the best and the worst -- though it's not really bad at all -- part about being pregnant. We think a lot of expectant moms won't love what she says here. The envy is real.

As you know by now ... she and hubby businessman Douglas Nunes, are expecting their first child. They tied the knot last August after a brief 5-month engagement. She recently posted a video showing what her Sundays have become ... playing solitaire while playing music to the baby.

Krysten Ritter's a proud new mom after giving birth to a baby boy, and she gave him a name fit for a superhero ... or a rock star.

According to the birth certificate -- obtained by TMZ -- the "Jessica Jones" star's firstborn child's name is Bruce, and the little guy has 2 middle names ... Julian Knight.

The baby's father is Ritter's longtime boyfriend, The War on Drugs' frontman, Adam Granduciel ... whose real last name is Granofsky. So, their son's full name is Bruce Julian Knight Granofsky.

As for the little guy's name ... it could be related to Ritter's Marvel Comics connection. Jessica Jones is a Marvel character much like The Hulk -- aka Bruce Banner -- but that's clearly rank comic book fanboy speculation on our part.

Or, maybe she and her baby daddy are fans of DC Comics hero Bruce "The Batman" Wayne? Yeah, we're stretching.

More likely is the fact Krysten's a big Bruce Springsteen fan. Sometimes it's just the simplest option.

According to his birth certificate, Lil Boss (that's officially his nickname now) arrived July 29 at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Ritter first revealed she was pregnant in February, and showed off her baby bump at a premiere event for season 3 of 'JJ.'

WHAT A CATCH ... by the dad in the stands!!!

A Philadelphia Phillies fan made an AMAZING 1-handed grab at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday ... snagging a foul ball while HOLDING HIS BABY!!

The Phillies were playing the Arizona Diamondbacks when Nick Ahmed fouled a pitch off into the right field stands ... where a dude clutching an infant got under the ball.

With his kid on his hip, the dad reached up and CAUGHT IT WITH 1 HAND -- without dropping the baby!!

The crowd went wild. The Phillies went wild. It was ... WILD!

The broadcasters on NBC Sports Philadelphia were impressed too -- "With a baby in hand, he was able to make the grab," one of the guys said ... "Oh man, what a baller!"

After the catch, the man told reporters he played high school and college baseball ... so he's got a little experience.

Nice grab, dude!

'Bachelor' alum Jade Roper Tolbert delivered her child in the strangest of places ... her bedroom closet!!!

Jade, who is married to fellow 'Bachelor' alum Tanner Tolbert, says she suddenly went into labor Monday night at her home ... but she couldn't make it out of the house, let alone to a hospital, so she gave birth in the closet in her master bedroom!!!

As you can see ... Jade is surrounded by medics and firefighters, holding her newborn son as she sits in her closet, surrounded by shoes, clothes and drawers. A wild scene, for sure.

Jade says it was one of the scariest moments of her life ... and she's still trying to process what the hell happened.

The good news ... Jade and Tanner's baby boy is healthy ... and he was 7 lbs., 9 oz and 20 inches long at birth.

Jade and Tanner met on the second season of "Bachelor in Paradise" ... and they have another child together, one-year-old Emmy. But, she was NOT born in a closet.
