Jennifer Lawrence is jabbing at Vice President Mike Pence over his views on the LGBTQ community, but did say he should take home an award ... although this isn't one for the mantle.

The Oscar-winning actress stepped up to a podium at the GLAAD Media Awards to announce that country music star Orville Peck was this year's winner of the Vito Russo Award -- but, she had to get off a few jokes first ... one aimed directly at Pence's stance on conversion therapy for LGBTQ youth.

Jennifer opened by telling the audience -- which included Jennifer Hudson, Uma Thurman and Don Lemon -- she “loved seeing so many humans who can top their field while still power bottoming."

MTV will not be celebrating the best of pop culture this year -- as we've learned their famous Movie & TV Awards show has been nixed ... but it ain't gone for good.

Sources close to production tell TMZ … the annual event has been put on pause in 2024, with the network choosing to skip out on this year's festivities. However, we're told the awards show is NOT canceled ... as it's set to return in 2025 with an updated format.

Unclear why MTV is passing on putting on the MTV Movie & TV Awards this year ... but there are a number of reasons why the network might be putting this on ice for a bit.

7:02 AM PT -- Reggie just took to his Instagram page to celebrate the news -- showing a picture of his Heisman Trophy with the caption, "No one can take from you what God has for you."

Reggie Bush is soon to be reunited with what's rightfully his -- the Heisman Trust is slated to reinstate the former USC superstar's prestigious award on Wednesday ... after he was stripped of the honor back in 2010.

Eric B. & Rakim are very happy with the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees ... despite the fact they didn't personally make the cut.

The pioneering hip hop duo was on the ballot for this year's induction, but came up short in the final vote. Instead, Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest will be entering the Hall.

However, the two legends want it to be clear there are no hard feelings on their part, as they're happily congratulating their peers who will be inducted.

If Pat Tillman ever gets honored at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Jake Plummer will be the first one there for the ceremony ... although he tells TMZ Sports if it doesn't happen, he knows the hero's legacy will go on regardless.

Iverson, though, didn't seem to have much of an issue with it ... when he spoke with reporters about the figurine, he called it a whale of honor.

But still, the internet wasn't pleased nonetheless.

Jelly Roll's private jet came to a sudden halt earlier this week ... with JR's wife revealing the plane turned around mid-flight because of technical issues.
