Matthew Perry estuvo en la mente de todos durante la ceremonia de los Emmys, especialmente cuando honraron a las estrellas que habían partido el año pasado, y se puede decir con seguridad por la música que eligieron para cerrar el segmento.

El fallecido actor fue destacado en el show del lunes por la noche, al ser elegido como la última persona en aparecer en pantalla en el bloque In memoriam. El segmento estuvo acompañado por la actuación de Charlie Puth, que comenzó cantando "See You Again" para rendir homenaje a varias estrellas de la televisión que han muerto recientemente.

En un momento, comenzó a cantar el tema de "Friends" para honrar al último grupo de celebridades in memoriam, incluyendo a Len Goodman, Barbara Walters, Bob Barker, Paul Reubens, Kirstie Alley, Irene Cara, Andre Braugher y finalmente ... el propio Perry.

Como dijimos, fue literalmente la última celebridad en aparecer y coincidió justo con Charlie Puth cantando las líneas finales de "'Cause you're there for me too". Fue bien emotivo.

En el momento, se pudo escuchar a la multitud animando aquí también, otro testimonio de lo grande que fue su pérdida para todos.

Jo Koy is still taking it on the chin -- the comedian got another taste of his own medicine during Monday's Emmy Awards as Ken Jeong and Joel McHale jabbed at his bombing as host of the Golden Globes.

The "Community" costars mocked Jo for blaming his unamusing lines on his writers -- hitting him hard while they presented the award for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.

Joel joked that former doctor Ken left his medical career not for acting ... but because he'd killed a patient and was still facing a lawsuit over it.

"The instruments that almost killed that dude were the ones the nurses left in, OK?" Ken quipped back ... adding: "The ones that saved his life are the ones I left in. And besides, I only had the gig for 10 days at that point."

Ken and Joel's joke stirred up plenty of laughs from the A-list crowd ... and comes hot on the heels of Jo explaining he didn't have enough time to prepare for the GGs ... and also blasting the audience as "marshmallows" who couldn't laugh at themselves.

You'll recall ... the comedian clearly didn't get the response he was looking for when his cracks on Taylor Swift and the film "Barbie" fell flat.

It was such a fail that even his ex-Chelsea Handler couldn't resist taking a similar swipe at him at the Critics Choice Awards Sunday.

Jo might not have had enough time to prepare for his hosting gig, but he's clearly given others some fresh material for the stage!

Por supuesto, con su victoria en los Emmy, Elton John se convierte en la 19ª persona que ha ganado un Oscar, un Emmy, un Grammy y un Tony (de allí la sigla EGOT), algo que el propio Rocket Man agradeció en sus declaraciones.

De hecho, el cantante no estuvo presente en la entrega de premios ayer para recoger su trofeo o hacer un discurso, pero su marido David Furnish y un productor ejecutivo del especial subieron en su nombre y transmitieron un mensaje del propio Elton: "Siento mucha humildad de unirme al increíblemente talentoso grupo de ganadores EGOT esta noche".

Y añadió: "El camino hasta este momento ha estado lleno de pasión, de dedicación y del apoyo inquebrantable de mis fans en todo el mundo. Esta noche es un testimonio del poder de las artes y de la alegría que aportan a nuestras vidas. Gracias a todos los que me han apoyado a lo largo de mi carrera, estoy increíblemente agradecido".

En cuanto a por qué no se presentó, Elton tuvo una cirugía recientemente para reemplazar su rodilla y estaba en su casa del Reino Unido recuperándose, aunque Furnish dijo que lo llamaron para darle la noticia.

Ariana DeBose seems to have buried the hatchet with Bella Ramsey -- who made a joke at her expense the night prior ... but all looks to be well now if this photo is any indication.

The two actresses were once again on hand Monday night for the Emmys -- this after attending the Critics Choice Awards the day prior ... and with ADB ending up as a punch line during the Best Song category, when she was labeled an actor who thinks they can sing.

Of course, it was Bella herself who delivered that brutal line -- reading off of a prompter in the distance -- and a lot of people felt Ariana had been done dirty ... herself included.

Fast-forward about 24 hours, and now you got this pic circulating online that shows Bella and Ariana hugging it out during the Emmys. There isn't too much context beyond what writer Evan Ross Katz -- who snapped this -- had to say about it in his lengthy caption.

He wrote, "Incredible! Here’s Bella Ramsey and Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose hugging at tonight’s Emmy Awards. It’s particularly poignant because of a joke that Ramsey was fed in their teleprompter at the Critic's Choice Awards yesterday which categorized DeBose among 'Actors Who Think They Are Singers.'"

Again, we're not sure what Bella might've said to Ariana -- but it definitely feels like an apology might've been issued ... 'cause the fact is, Ariana most certainly *can* sing.

One other interesting tidbit about this whole saga ... it looks like one Hannah Waddingham -- a big-time TV actress who's done some Broadway as well -- was consoling ADB on the carpet before the show got started. There's photos of the two having a heart-to-heart outside.

Elton John is the latest star to land in the pantheon of EGOT greats -- and while he might've had to wait a long, long time ... it was well worth the patience to break through in TV.

The iconic musician won an Emmy Monday night for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) -- due to his Disney+ concert special -- which was a huge deal considering it put him in an exclusive club of other entertainers who've checked all the showbiz boxes.

Of course, with his Emmy win ... EJ becomes the 19th person to have won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony -- something the Rocket Man himself was grateful for, in statement only.

Indeed, Elton wasn't on hand at yesterday's awards show to pick up his hardware or to make a speech in front of everyone ... but his husband, David Furnish, and an EP from the special went up there on his behalf and relayed a message from Elton himself, "I am incredibly humbled to be joining the unbelievably talented group of EGOT winners tonight."

He added, "The journey to this moment has been filled with passion, dedication, and the unwavering support of my fans all around the world. Tonight is a testament to the power of the arts and the joy that it brings to all our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career, I am incredibly grateful."

As for why he didn't show ... Elton had his knee replaced in surgery recently, and he was at home in the UK recovering -- although Furnish did say they called him up with the news.

The biggest night in television is back ... the Emmy Awards are getting started and celebs are showing up to the show looking their best.

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards are going down right now at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles ... and some of the biggest names in Hollywood are in the house.

Selena Gomez is turning heads, and Kourtney Kardashian is making out with Travis Barker for the cameras.

"The White Lotus" is up for some awards, which means we get to see fan favorite Jennifer Coolidge strutting her stuff.

You may recall ... the Primetime Emmys were originally supposed to happen back in September, but the award show was delayed because of last year's actors' strike in Hollywood. The strikes are over and now it's time for award season.

Pedro Pascal continuó su divertida disputa con Kieran Culkin este lunes en los Premios Emmy, acusando hilarantemente al actor de haberlo golpeado.

La estrella de "The Last of Us" se subió al escenario usando un cabestrillo en su brazo, en la 75ª edición del evento anual, para presentar el premio al mejor actor de reparto en una serie dramática, que recayó en la estrella de "Succession" Matthew Macfadyen. Lo que ocurrió a continuación quedó grabado en video.

Pedro Pascal kept his funny feud going with Kieran Culkin at Monday's Emmy Awards, hilariously accusing the actor of beating "the s**t out of me."

"The Last of Us" star strolled out onstage with his arm in a sling at the 75th annual event to present the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series to "Succession" star Matthew Macfadyen. What happened next was all caught on video.

Standing at a microphone, Pascal told the star-studded audience in L.A.'s Peacock Theater, "Everyone’s been asking about my arm, but it’s actually my shoulder. And I think it’s time to let everyone know that Kieran Culkin beat the s— out of me.”

The whole crowd burst out in laughter, except Culkin, who sat with a serious look, while shooting a hard stare at Pascal. But, Culkin couldn't keep a straight face for very long and soon began chuckling with the other people, as the video cuts off.

Earlier this month, the two actors launched their light-hearted squabble at the Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

While accepting the trophy for "Best Actor In A Drama Series" for HBO's Succession, Culkin took a playful jab at Pascal, telling him to "suck it." Pascal had been nominated in the same category for his role in another popular HBO series, "The Last of Us."

By the way, Pascal told the Associated Press at the Golden Globes that he injured his arm during a fall.

Christina Applegate got folks out of their seats at the Emmys ... and it's all because of her courage.

The "Dead to Me" star, who is dealing with her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, came out to a standing ovation as she presented the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Christina used a cane to get to the stage as the crowd rose to its feet and applauded.

Ya gotta see the video ... she got emotional about the reception she was getting, and cracked a joke, saying ... "You're totally shaming me with disability by standing up."

Remember, Christina revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis back in 2021, referring to it as a "strange journey."

It's great to see her involved at the Emmys ... when she was up for a SAG award last year she said it would likely be her last award show as an actress because of MS.

At that award show she used a cane with a powerful message on it ... "F U MS." While her cane Monday night wasn't fitted with any such note, Christina's presence onstage said plenty.

If her acting career is over, as Christina's predicted, she could certainly still do award show presenting --- she had the Emmys crowd wrapped around her finger.

Fantasia is just one of several people calling out the grub at the Critics Choice Awards -- 'cause the bagged pizza they dished out just wasn't cutting it for hungry celebs.

Here's the deal ... the food that was handed out at Sunday night's show included slices that were bagged, and prepped to be served on an individual basis. When the pizza was handed out at Fantasia's table ... cameras caught her less-than-pleased reaction.

Check it out ... as the wait staff was handing out the pizza to her "Color Purple" costars, Fantasia looked right at the photog and asked ... "Where's the lamb chops???"

You can see Taraji P. Henson and some others start to chow down right away ... but Oprah herself holds off, saying she doesn't wanna ruin her lipstick. From the looks of it, an extra box of snacks was also handed out to those in the room ... with fruits and whatnot inside.

Now, while Fantasia and co. might've been poking fun at the menu ... others were a little more straightforward in their criticism of the food, including film producer Jen D'Angelo. She posted photos of the pizza, calling it "absolutely revolting" and "3D printed."

Even Paul Giamatti remarked about the food during his acceptance speech, saying ... "Serious guys, I need that endorsement. So let’s all just pray for me,” Giamatti continued. “Everybody get their pizza in a bag, by the way? I think that’d be a good endorsement. Paul Giamatti for pizza in a bag."

For the record, Baja Fresh and Cold Stone were the official food vendors for this thing -- but it appears their chow was served either before or after the show ... and not inside the venue itself. Baja and CS aren't known for pizza, so it's unclear who baked the pies.

Melissa Barrera's been screaming her support of Palestine from the rooftops -- which led to her getting 86'd from the 'Scream' franchise -- but it looks like her former cast members still have her back.

The actress reunited with her former costars Sunday night at the Motion Picture and Television Fund's 17th Annual Evening Before Gala ... and Jenna Ortega was standing right by her, literally and figuratively.

Remember, Melissa was fired back in November from the 7th installment of the horror franchise over her Israel-Palestine posts.

Jenna appeared to like a post on Melissa doubling down on her pro-Palestine stance at the time of her firing ... and she too dropped out of the new 'Scream' movie -- though it was apparently due to a schedule clash with Netflix's "Wednesday" and not cause of MB's firing.

But Jenna's support was loud and clear in the new IG snaps shared by Melissa ... where she was also joined by her other  'Scream' costars Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Liana Liberato, Tony Revolori, Skeet Ulrich, and Jack Quaid -- who all appeared to have her back, too.

As we reported ... Melissa doubled down on her pro-Palestine stance over Xmas while the 'Scream' Empire collapsed with director Christopher Landon also walking away from the new movie.

While Spyglass lost their 2 big leads and their director ... Neve Campbell recently teased a possible return to the franchise as Sidney Prescott -- only for the right amount of money, though.

She initially left the franchise due to pay disagreements, so that doesn't come as a shock -- but she ain't biting the hand that feeds her ... saying at Saturday's BAFTA Tea Party in L.A. she was sad the higher-ups at 'Scream' were struggling.

Ariana DeBose got lumped in with actors who became songbirds in their movies this past year -- a joke cracked at the Critics Choice Awards ... which she didn't appreciate one bit.

The Oscar winner was on hand Sunday night at the latest award show in Santa Monica -- where she was up for a statuette in the Best Song category for her tune in Disney's "Wish" ... alongside others in films like "Barbie," "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "Rustin."

Before they announced the winners, presenters Bella Ramsey and Anthony Ramos made a crack about some of the stars in the group ... labeling them "actors who think that they're singers," name-dropping Ryan Gosling, Jack Black and, surprisingly, Ariana herself.

The camera cut to her face right at that moment, and she looked fairly confused/insulted.

Welp, as it turns out ... that's exactly how she felt inside -- 'cause she later took to IG to express the sentiment that we all saw on her face ... writing, "I Didn't Find It Funny Lol."

While you could argue the crack was in good fun, fans jumped to her defense to point out it was technically inaccurate -- 'cause ADB most certainly *can* sing ... and does so flawlessly. Not only has she received accolades for her musical performances on camera, but she's a star on Broadway as well -- so to compare to the likes of JB and Gosling does seem off.

Sounds like one of the CCA script writers just might not like her ... that's the vibe anyway.

Antes de anunciar a los ganadores, los presentadores Bella Ramsey y Anthony Ramos hicieron un chiste sobre algunas de las estrellas del grupo, etiquetándolos como "actores que piensan que son cantantes", nombrando a Ryan Gosling, Jack Black y sorprendentemente a la propia Ariana.

Harrison Ford se siente agradecido, afortunado y más que un poco emocionado por su carrera, pero todavía es capaz de reírse de sí mismo al aceptar un premio por todo su catálogo de trabajo, desde "Star Wars" a "Indiana Jones".

El icono de Hollywood se atragantó un poco mientras estaba en el escenario el domingo por la noche en los Critics Choice Award, donde el director de "Indiana Jones y el dial del destino" de James Mangold le otorgó a Harrison el Premio a la Trayectoria.

Agradeció a todos los directores, escritores y cineastas con los que ha trabajado a lo largo de los años y también tuvo un reconocimiento especial para su esposa Calista Flockhart.

El legendario actor de 81 años hizo reír a la multitud al felicitar a Calista por apoyarle y añadió: "Necesito mucho apoyo".

Harrison también se mostró feliz de ver que Hollywood le da oportunidades a gente con talento que no las habría tenido en los años 60, cuando él empezaba a actuar.

Un voto bastante sólido a favor de DEI por parte de Harrison.

Harrison añadió que fue enormemente afortunado por su carrera, teniendo su última salida como Indy Jones el año pasado.

Robert Downey Jr. ganó a lo grande en los Critics Choice Awards este fin de semana y para devolver el favor ... recitó algunas de las peores críticas que ha recibido a lo largo de su carrera.

La superestrella subió al escenario el domingo para recibir su estatuilla al Mejor Actor de Reparto en honor a su trabajo en "Oppenheimer" y mientras daba las gracias terminó reconociendo al grupo que estaba votando a los ganadores de esa noche... ¡los críticos!

Robert dijo que tenía debilidad por esta noble profesión, al tiempo que señaló que había recibido críticas no muy agradables de dichos críticos a lo largo de los años... algunas de las cuales quería leer.

Fue divertidísimo... Rob sacó una lista de su abrigo y empezó a repasar lo que él considera las críticas más desagradables y/o graciosas que ha recibido por su trabajo ante la cámara desde que está en el negocio. No dio ningún nombre, pero las palabras hablaban por sí solas.

Solo algunas de las críticas que dejaron huella, incluyendo una especie de haiku que decía: "Descuidada, desordenada y perezosa". La siguiente fue más metafórica, como él dice: "Como Pee-wee Herman saliendo de un coma". Por último, uno que se quedó con él... "Divertido como un pedo encerrado en la cama".

Una vez más, Downey Jr. no dio más detalles sobre cuándo fueron estas críticas o sobre qué películas y actuaciones suyas fueron, pero estamos seguros de que una simple búsqueda en Google puede rastrearlas.
