Hollywood's elite are warming up for the Oscars with pre-parties all over the city of Los Angeles ... with the best of the biz out to play ahead of the glitz and glam to come later tonight.

One of them was a massive shindig that went down Saturday night at a private mansion in Beverly Hills and major A-listers were on hand to celebrate including Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, Leo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Mick Jagger, Pamela Anderson, Goldie Hawn, Cara Delevingne, John Mayer, Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton.

Everyone wanted in on the big party ... autograph seekers and fans were seen outside the party trying to get pics with all of the stars as they came and went from the party for Hollywood's biggest night.

Also rubbing shoulders and mingling at the bash was Jenna Ortega, Joey King, Miles Teller, and Brandon Lee.

Diane Warren says if she finally wins an Oscar after her past 15 "Best Song" nominations this weekend, she'll probably collapse with excitement -- literally!

TMZ caught up with the legendary songwriter ahead of Sunday night's show, and Diane admits she’s not sure if she’ll have a speech ready if her song "The Journey" wins from the movie "The Six Triple Eight" -- joking she’ll probably not be conscious to hit the stage.

Jokes aside, Diane makes it clear you never know what could go down on the big night ... but she’s just grateful to be nominated.

It's the biggest weekend for Hollywood ... and the stars were out in full force Friday night to kick off the Oscars celebrations before the big show on Sunday.

The were multiple big bashes around town ... including the CAA pre-Oscar party at the Living Room in Los Angeles and the YSL party, which was held at an undisclosed private residence.

Stars dropping by the CAA blowout were the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kerry Washington, Eiza Gonzalez, Paris Jackson, Seth Rogen, Sebastian Stan, Chris Pine, Kevin Bacon, Khyra Sedgwick, Jesse Willaims, Anna Kendrick, Gayle King, Jon Hamm, Zoey Deutch, Joe Alwyn, Josh Gadd ... and new couple Channing Tatum and Inka Williams.

Gabriel Iglesias is all in for Conan O’Brien’s Oscars debut this weekend, saying there’s no better man for the mic -- he’s the one to keep the show in check!

We caught up with Gabriel in NYC, and he addressed jokes falling flat in previous years on the big stage, assuring us there’s no need to worry this time -- Conan's a total pro when it comes to keeping the crowd laughing.

TV star Kerry Washington channeled the silver screen in her silver dress ... taking the 'little fires everywhere' and bringing the heat to the red carpet.

Jane Fonda used her Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Award speech to warn her fellow actors about impending political decisions ... saying they need to look out for one another -- 'cause a whole lot of bad is headed their way.

The veteran actress spoke at Sunday night's ceremony ... and, while the at-times rambling speech touched a number of different topics, the crux of the speech was a warning to her fellow stars.

Jane focuses on empathy in the address ... saying actors get to open people up to a variety of new ideas and concepts, and stars would need every bit of their empathy in the days ahead.

Kieran Culkin gave the first thank you speech of the SAG Awards ... or, at least he meant to -- but, he just couldn't get over how heavy the trophy was.

The actor accepted the trophy for Male Actor in Supporting Role in a Motion Picture ... and, while it seems he may have meant to give an actual speech, when he grabbed the trophy that went out the window.
