Prince Bickering Family to Come Together at AMAs

Prince's siblings have called a truce in what has become an intense war over his estate ... and they're actually coming together Sunday night to pay homage to their late, famous bro.

Sources connected with Prince's estate tell us, the singer's sister, Tyka Nelson, has organized a trip to L.A. for the entire brood. Prince's "Purple Rain" snagged a posthumous nom for Top Soundtrack, and you know the drill ... there are few surprises, so we're guessing he'll win.

As for why "Purple Rain," released in 1984, is nominated this year ... the noms are based in part on sales, and after the singer's death the album hit #2 on the Billboard 200. Other nominees include "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Suicide Squad: The Album."

FYI ... the AMAs last year were Prince's last TV appearance.

Rose McGowan CMA Bosses ... 'A Bunch of Chicken S***s'

NO BACK BONE
TMZ.com

Rose McGowan is disgusted at the people who posted racist comments about Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks, but she's even more pissed off at the CMA honchos who bowed to the "deplorables" by scrubbing CMAWorld.com of all things Bey and Chicks.

Rose is reacting to the TMZ story ... the CMA bosses panicked when they saw some users lash out against Beyonce and the Chicks in the comment section of the site and on social media ... some calling Bey the n-word and others saying country music is for white folks only.

The CMAs have flip-flopped a second time ... reposting some of the items.

Beyonce, Dixie Chicks Scrubbed from CMA Website, Social Media After Racist Fans Comment

2:45 PM PT -- The CMAs have started repopulating its social media with images of Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks. The images were only posted AFTER they became aware we were working on the story.

Even the Dixie Chicks, who rarely say anything in the media these days, are reacting to the controversy on Twitter.

Those reposted images of Bey on Instagram and Twitter are already getting blasted with comments -- some racist and some in support of Beyonce. We'll say this ... the Beyhive is woke.

The folks at the Country Music Awards don't have the stomach for 4 strong women, 1 of whom is black, because they have scrubbed all references and images of Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks from their website.

The performance of Beyonce's hit, "Daddy Lessons," with the Dixie Chicks was by all rights the highlight of the show. Thursday morning Bey and the Chicks had a prominent presence on CMAWorld.com. But check it out now ... it's gone ... completely.

Sources directly connected with the CMAs tell TMZ, the honchos folded to fans who posted racist and other harsh comments. We're told the honchos were especially concerned about the reaction to Beyonce's support and the support of the Dixie Chicks for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Some of the comments included, "That's right folks. Beyonce performed at the CMAs last night & is on a mission to take country music away from us, hardworking white people!" And, "Beyonce overrated racist n***er bitch."

The comments go on ... "@Beyonce the cop hater? No thanks," and, "What place does @Beyonce who vilifies police officers who keep us safe have to do with #CMAawards50?"

In addition to its website, the CMAs have scrubbed the women from all social media platforms. They did not delete the women from Snapchat ... they only deleted the ladies from CMA accounts where users can place comments.

We're told the CMA people "just want this to go away" and feel it was probably a mistake to invite the 4 women in the first place.

Miley Cyrus Moonman Trophy for Sale! Homeless Date Needs Cash

The homeless guy Miley Cyrus took to the VMAs is finally cashing in on his big night with the singer ... by hawking her Moonman.

Jesse Helt is auctioning the trophy on eBay-- the bidding starts at $10k, but there's a "Buy It Now" option for $15k. Helt got his 15 minutes back in 2014 when he accepted Cyrus' Video of the Year award with a tearjerker speech about homelessness.

People connected to Jesse tell us he's been on a hot streak -- he recently got a studio apartment in L.A. and he's expecting a baby in a few months. We're told he's selling the VMA to prep for il bambino.

If $10k sounds steep -- keep in mind Coolio's trophy for "Gangsta's Paradise" once sold for $6k, and someone paid $72k for the "We Are the World" statuette!

Fun fact: Miley's Moonman is engraved with her name and Jesse's.

The Oscars New Members Are Mostly Minorities ... But #OscarsStillSoWhite

The Oscars added 683 new members to its voting body Wednesday ... in the wake of the #OscarsSoWhite bruhaha, and while nearly half of the new class are minorities, it barely put a dent in the overall white and male demo.

According to the Academy ... 46 percent of the new class are female and 41 percent ... people of color. Sounds like a lot, but when you factor in the pre-existing members it's only a 2-3%.

Notable names on the list include Idris Elba, Vivica A. Fox, Morris Chestnut, Michael B. Jordan, Nia Long, Gabrielle Union, and Marlon and Damon Wayans. 'Star Wars' newcomer John Boyega is the youngest at 24 added to the list. O'Shea Jackson also made the cut ... interesting since the "Straight Outta Compton" snub ignited the controversy.

The Academy says the new class reps "the best in our global film community." It also added this: "We encourage the larger creative community to open its doors wider, and create opportunities for anyone interested in working in this incredible and storied industry."

Baby steps.
