KTLA in Los Angeles has plastered billboards all over town promoting the syndicated run of "Men." The billboards feature Charlie's face next to the words, "The Original" ... and if it seems like it's a shot at Kutcher ... that's because it is.

A mole at the station tells us ... the marketing people are playing off the premise that "Men" was simply better with Charlie. They believe fans miss him ... and will be more into the reruns because Charlie "was the show."

Can't argue with facts.

A man who worked at the Standard Hotel the night Lindsay Lohan allegedly attacked a woman claims he saw Lindsay there, and even broke up the fight.

TMZ broke the story ... Marisa Dugas went to the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. and filed an incident report, claiming she was at Smoke and Mirrors inside The Standard Thursday night when she approached Lindsay's table and started talking to a guy, and Lindsay allegedly pushed and shoved her. Lindsay insists she was at home the entire evening.

The man who worked that night tells TMZ ... he saw Lindsay in Smoke and Mirrors sitting with a group of people. He says Marisa sat down near them and began speaking with one of the guys. The man says people in the group started throwing ice at her. Marisa got upset and a scuffle erupted. He says Lindsay was part of the scuffle and he broke it up.

The guy says the woman was escorted out of the club, where she cried hysterically and then said Lindsay hurt her, but she refused medical attention.

There are no pictures that have surfaced of Lindsay at the Standard Thursday night, but the man says there is a surveillance video showing the back of the hotel, where Lindsay pulled in and later left. We have confirmed the man has spoken with cops, although we do not know how much detail he divulged.

Sources tell us the L.A. County Sheriff's Department has already requested the surveillance tape three times from the hotel -- but hotel management is refusing to give it up. It's unclear why.

Detectives are still investigating the alleged incident.

The quitclaim deed is significant, because it shows Ashton and Demi are trying to keep their financial affairs separate after their split. It's a clear sign divorce is imminent.

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil was officially blacklisted from The Palms hotel and casino in Las Vegas last night after allegedly threatening the hotel staff ... with bad publicity.

It all went down after an incident inside of a restaurant on the property -- but both sides are telling VERY DIFFERENT versions of what happened.

Neil fired the first shot early this morning ... tweeting, "Do [sic] to recent events, including distrust and dishonesty at the executive level. I will never again step foot @palms property."

But The Palms quickly fired back ... via Twitter ... saying Neil was booted out of the restaurant "as a result of his inappropriate behavior" ... and claims the rocker later called hotel staffers "threatening negative publicity."

The Palms explained, "We cannot and will not allow our guests, no matter who they are, to mistreat our team members. As a result of his actions, Mr. Neil is no longer welcome at The Palms."

Still, Vince is adamant The Palms is telling lies ... and hints that he plans to continue the fight until he gets an apology.

Brian Austin Green is being sued by a celebrity photographer who claims he was brutally beaten by the actor as his wife, Megan Fox, egged him on.

Delbert Shaw claims in a lawsuit that will be filed this morning in L.A. County Superior Court ... he was taking pics of the smoking hot couple last December on the beach in front of the Four Seasons Resort in Hualalai, Hawaii ... when Brian and Megan allegedly made verbal threats against Shaw.

According to the suit, it escalated when Megan yelled to her hubby, "Are you going to let him get away with that?"

Shaw alleges Brian defended Megan's honor by hauling off and pummeling him, causing severe injuries. To add insult to injury, Shaw claims Brian threw his iPhone into the deep blue sea.

Shaw says Megan was egging Brian on during the entire incident.

He's suing for unspecified damages and is represented by attorney Sark Ohanian at the law firm of Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley, LLP in Beverly Hills.

Calls to reps for Fox and Green were not returned.

Who would've imagined that cute Stacy Ferguson from "Kids Incorporated" would become the single-named pop sensation known as Fergie?

The Situation is in rehab not just for prescription drugs, but also for alcohol, TMZ has learned, and this turn of events could pose big problems for next season's "Jersey Shore."

Sources involved in the situation (sorry) tell us ... the Situation went through detox at a facility before he checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah, and the detox involved alcohol.

Our sources also say The Sitch is "very open" with other patients at Cirque about his drinking. He discusses how his club appearances escalated his alcohol use.

Now here's the problem for "Jersey Shore." The Situation and alcohol have been tied at the hip for 5 seasons. If the show allows The Situation to fall off the wagon to make the show better in season 6, they will look like crass enablers. If they don't let him drink, there's a good chance they will lose viewers.

Jermaine Jones -- the 6'8" gentle giant on "American Idol" -- has big problems with the truth, because he fabricated a sob story to "A.I." producers to win the hearts and minds of the American people.

"A.I." sources told TMZ ... last week, after appearing on the show ... Jermaine came to them and said his dad called him from out of the blue, claiming pops abandoned him and his mom 10 years ago. Jermaine told producers he was extremely upset that his dad suddenly reappeared in his life now that he was famous and potentially rich. Jermaine said his dad was "a lousy father" and wanted nothing to do with him.

Well TMZ spoke with Jermaine's dad, Kevin Jones, who says the sob story is absurd -- that he has had an ongoing relationship with the young man through the years and even had dinner with him on both Wednesday and Thursday night of last week.

Kevin also says his son was not telling the truth about getting a phone call from out of the blue -- Kevin says he was actually in the audience last week supporting his child.

We spoke with production people on "Idol" who tell us they are "shocked" Jermaine concocted the story and it seems like it was all a ploy to get some traction on the show.

We could not reach Jermaine for comment.

Life isn't all bad for our heroes in uniform in Afghanistan ... especially when they encounter MASSIVE marijuana fields as these photos show ... but we've learned these photos have triggered a military investigation.

A bunch of guys who appear to be soldiers whipped out their cameras ... and their weapons ... and posed for a bunch of pics while out on patrol in Kabul recently.

No word on the identity of the soldiers ... or when the pics were taken. Note -- the photos DO NOT show any of the soldiers smoking the weed, but there is a shot of the guys decorating the inside of their vehicle with cannabis leaves.

We spoke to U.S. Army officials ... who tell us the situation is "being looked into" ... noting, "The U.S. military takes allegations of drug possession, transfer, distribution, and use very seriously."

The Army also notes that Afghan anti-drug units, aided by international security forces, have resulted in a tremendous increase in drug seizures over the past year.

Ironically, the baseball caps 2 of the soldiers are wearing are as problematic as the weed. Soldiers caught wearing non-military issue headgear can get in big trouble.

With less than two weeks until the big, two-hour premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 14, we're getting out first look at the contestants in their crazy (and sometimes revealing) costumes!

The 12 contestants and their partners will perform either the foxtrot or the cha cha for their first performances on March 19.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the case has officially been taken off calendar. Sources connected with the actor tell TMZ ... Kelsey and Camille have agreed to joint custody of their 2 kids -- 10-year-old Mason and 7-year-old Jude.

We're told the kids will both continue living in Los Angeles with Camille, but Kelsey will maintain "meaningful contact" with both of them.

The couple had reached a temporary custody agreement last July, but this one is permanent.

As for the couple's financial dispute, sources connected with the actor tell us ... they have almost resolved all of the money issues and it should be settled very shortly.
