Forget shark attacks, beachgoers in Mexico are more concerned with the terrifying bull that battered and trampled a woman in the sand ... a bizarre encounter caught on camera.

Check it out -- the woman refuses to get outta the way, and instead tries to get her beach bag away from the bull. Despite others on the beach warning her to get away, she persists until the massive beast goes berserk ... charging at her and tossing her around the beach while others watch in shock.

The woman had plenty of opportunity to scoot before the attack, and you can hear someone yelling and pleading with her ... "Lady, you're playing with fire right now. Please don't do that."

Angie Harmon is taking the deliveryman who shot and killed her dog to court -- and she's also going after the company he was working for ... claiming it was negligent.

The actress is suing Christopher Anthony Reid for what she claims was the wrongful shooting of her pup in April on her property in North Carolina -- this after she'd ordered something off of Instacart and was communicating with a woman she thought was named "Merle."

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Angie claims she wasn't talking to a lady at all ... instead, she was communicating with Reid -- whom she alleges was impersonating/passing as Merle.

We're told one of the dogs got picked up by a civilian after the incident and it was returned to the owner -- and cops say it appeared to have a bite wound on its back.

An unsettling scene unfolded in Philadelphia -- where a police officer had to shoot a canine after a pack of dogs started to maul a poor man in the street, in broad daylight.

This disturbing footage is making the rounds online -- and it shows the beginning, middle and end of a violent incident in the City of Brotherly Love that recently went down ... where at least 4 dogs got loose and started ganging up on a guy, which was all caught on camera.

It's unclear what exactly led up to this ... but the video starts by showing the pooches trotting down the sidewalk, where a cop car is already there and seemingly observing the situation.

A male orangutan has scientists going bananas -- 'cause the primate treated his face wound with a medicinal plant ... which seems to have been intentional, a first for scientists to observe.

The primate hails from Indonesia -- its name is Rakus, BTW -- and researchers say it got into a fight back in 2022 ... which left him with a particularly bad face wound in the form of a bad gash near his right eye.

Officials followed Rakus around for the next few days and observed some bizarre behavior for an ape ... seeing the orangutan chewing up a particular liana plant -- which is not normal food for this species. As it turns out ... the plant ended up having healing powers.
