SYDNEY SWEENEY BITTEN BY HUNTSMAN SPIDER On Aussie Set ... 'Thought I'd Die!!'
Sydney Sweeney got a sneak preview of her upcoming role as Spider-Woman when a real spider bit her on the set of a different movie ... and cameras captured her terrified reaction.
Normally, we'd call this a blooper -- an outtake from the set of her rom-com "Anyone But You," which was filmed in Australia -- but it's hard to laugh when you see, and hear, her scream.
Syd described it as a "soul scream" when she revealed the clip on Wednesday night on 'The Tonight Show.' She says she was supposed to act as if the trained Huntsman spider bit her, but then it truly had a feisty nibble on her hand.
As you can see, her eyes are wide open in panic ... and she shrieks at the top of her lungs while convincing others, including costar Glen Powell, that she's actually being bitten -- and not faking for the scene.
Huntsman spiders are widely lurking around Down Under, and while their bites are painful, their venom doesn't harm humans. Docs on set immediately checked out Sydney and she was fine.
This all happened before she bagged her upcoming role in Marvel's "Madame Web" ... so it's clearly a case of life imitating art.

Shark Attack Man Films Bloody Aftermath ... Bite Cost Him His Leg
An Italian man recently got chewed up by a shark in Australia, and while you'd expect him to be freaking out and trying to get to shore ... he was also preoccupied with filming the whole ordeal.
The guy's name is Matteo Mariotti, and he's a 20-year-old student from the city of Parma -- however, last week ... he found himself snorkeling off the coast of 1770 Beach on the eastern shore of the land down under.
While he was in the water, Mariotti was recording with a selfie stick of some sort -- which captured the moments right after the shark bit his leg. It's pretty shocking, considering you can see blood start to flow all around him.
Mariotti was eventually able to swim close enough to land for a pal to yank him in and attempt to help. Soon, though, he was transferred to a hospital -- but it was too late to save his leg. It was reportedly amputated from the knee down, but Matteo still sounds grateful.
He writes, "I played this video a few moments after the last bite, I wanted to say goodbye, I never thought I'd survive that monster. Lost so much blood and my leg, I don't know if they're going to cut it all off or if it's going to be left in half but it doesn't matter now."
MM adds, "You are my heroes, you give me strength to carry on with your texts and calls, my only dream is to see you again." Matteo shouted out his friend for saving his life, and apologized for not being able to respond to everyone right away.
Remember, this is the 2nd major shark attack in just a week ... another in Mexico claimed a woman's life moments after she was able to save her young daughter from the shark. Be careful out there, folks.

RUNAWAY CHIHUAHUA MAKES A DASH FOR IT DOWN HIGHWAY!! Rescue Caught On Camera
It was a ruff day for one dog ... who made an impromptu break for it down the Staten Island Expressway before ultimately being saved by some freaked-out motorists.
In dash cam footage shared to TikTok, drivers are seen trying to divert the runaway chihuahua named Bean to the Clove Road exit ... but they're barking up the wrong tree as the pooch continues scrambling across the jam-packed highway.
Motorists then leap out of their vehicles trying to catch Bean ... though he keeps scampering away.
Finally the efforts pay off, as one good Samaritan grabs him and scoops him inside their car.
Arden Heights resident Katie Marie, whose dash cam captured the footage, told Staten Island Advance Saturday that her instinct kicked in when she saw the dog on the loose ... ensuring that it got to safety.
She explained the plan was to keep the dog in the HOV lane to try to exhaust him ... and soon, 20 vehicles were trying to do the same in the "extremely wholesome" effort to help out the directionless dog.
Bean's owner, Tee Richardson, later revealed he ran off after getting spooked by a barking pit bull -- and is now home and safe.

Separated Manatees 'Romeo & Juliet' Relocated ... After Viral Vid Sparks Outrage

A trio of manatees, including 2 former mates named Romeo and Juliet -- are finally being relocated after a viral video showed their isolated conditions, and the guy who helped make it happen is glad something's finally happening.
Phil Demers is the head of a whistleblower org called UrgentSeas, and a video he posted last month blew up on the Internet -- it showed the manatees, specifically Romeo, toiling in despair at the Miami Seaquarium.
Romeo's counterpart, Juliet, was being kept separately and also alone in the Seaquarium ... not to mention a third manatee named Clarity. After Demers published his video though, public backlash forced the company's hand.
Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.
Sadly, it doesn't sound like Romeo and Juliet are going to be reunited anytime soon ... and they probably won't even be released into the wild, and Demers tells us why. Still, the fact the manatees are going to better facilities with proper care is a 'W' in his book.
He says the fact this is happening is proof public pressure can, in fact, spur positive change and he's glad the manatees will get a new lease on life.
The Miami Seaquarium, meanwhile, said this was the plan all along ... although, it's unclear if anyone's really buying that.

Mexico Bloodbath Mom Dies After Shark Bites Off Leg ... Young Daughter Saved
A mother in Mexico died after her leg got bitten off by a shark in the ocean -- this as she attempted to save her daughter ... who ultimately survived.
The shocking aftermath of the shark attack in Melaque was caught on video that made the rounds this weekend -- and it's incredibly brutal. You can see 26-year-old Maria Fernandez Martinez Jimenez being carried to shore by a group of bystanders ... and her limb's missing.
People scream in terror as those nearby rush over to help and flag down first responders -- but, sadly, Jimenez ended up losing her life after a massive amount of blood loss.
Per local officials, Jimenez was in the water with her 5-year-old when she noticed a shark swimming close by, about 75 feet from shore. The mother quickly hoisted her daughter up onto a floating play platform ... however, the animal ended up going after her instead.
The child is said to have been uninjured in the episode, but it's an absolute tragedy ... because she lost her mom. Law enforcement shut down the beach in the aftermath, including surrounding seaside areas as a precautionary measure.
It's unclear what species of shark may have been responsible. Jimenez is reported to have been a former marine biology student at the University of Guadalajara, and lived in Jalisco.

2:40 PM PT -- Here's photo evidence that Britney and her mother's relationship is repairing itself right before our eyes ... 'cause Mama Bear was indeed at her daughter's birthday shindig, and apparently spent the night as well.
These pics were taken Saturday, which show Brit leaving her manager's house in the L.A. area ... and wouldn't you know it, Lynne Spears is back there seeing her kid off as she hit the town in a waiting SUV.
You can see Britney saying bye to Cade as he escorts her to the vehicle ... and very clearly in the background -- you can see her mom, looking on. We'd already been told Lynne was in attendance the night prior ... so to see her there the next day is quite telling.
As you know, they've been feuding a lot over the past couple years -- including recently, especially after Britney released her memoir. All is well now again, though ... or so it seems.
10:25 AM PT -- Sources tell TMZ that Britney's dog is fine -- it simply hurt its foot and had to be taken in to be looked at ... but we're told all is well now with the pooch.
Also, we're told Britney's mom, Lynne, was there celebrating her daughter's birthday -- and sources tell us they were getting along great.
Britney Spears got super upset Friday night, after her dog had an apparent medical emergency ... TMZ has learned.
Britney was out in L.A. for a pre-birthday celebration -- she turned 42 today -- at her manager/best friend Cade Hudson's home, along with her brother Bryan and several others.
At 2 AM, Britney, Cade and Bryan left Cade's home and got in a car. An agency photog at the scene says she had her dog in the car and they rushed to a 24-hour veterinary clinic. We never see the dog, but the photog claims they brought it in.
Britney and crew then went to a gas station convenience store on the Sunset Strip, and from the photos you can tell this was some sort of emergency. Cade is in his PJs with no shoes.
They then went back to the vet, and it's unclear whether they had the dog when they left.
Bryan seems to be the only family member with whom Britney has a face-to-face relationship. He's been with her fairly regularly over the last few months.

'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum is being sued by a woman named Olga Mill, who claims Winston savagely attacked her and her dog, Gus, while on a walk in Los Angeles.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Mills claims she was walking Gus on a leash on a street back in August when Eden's dog viciously and savagely attacked without provocation. Mills says a man named Ed Munoz was walking Winston, not Eden.
Mill claims Winston bit her so badly she was covered in cuts and bruises, resulting in a severe infection requiring an overnight stay in a hospital. She claims Winston bit Gus so badly he needed treatment and hospitalization at a veterinary clinic.
In the suit, Mills claims Winston had known violent and vicious tendencies from previous attacks on people ... but she says Eden still let Winston out on the streets "knowing that Winston would seek to attack and bite anyone in his view."
Mills claims the alleged dog attack left her with permanent disability, scarring and disfigurement ... and she's going after Eden for a ton of money.
