Donald Trump made the almost 2 mile-long trek down Pennsylvania Avenue for his inaugural parade, as protests were breaking out just blocks away.

The Prez and First Lady remained in their limo for much of the Inaugural Parade -- from the Capitol to the White House -- but did opt to walk a few blocks of the route ... flanked by Secret Service.

Once outside their new home, they kicked back to view the rest of the show. Considering the violence that went on in Washington, D.C. today ... the parade was pretty damn smooth.

Ellen Page got into a heated debate with a preacher over homosexuality ... and it all went down as chaos was building around them on the streets of Washington, D.C.

Ellen's in town for some inaugural events -- including the Women's March on Saturday -- but Friday outside the National Press Building she ended up going toe-to-toe, verbally, with a man of the cloth.

He labeled homosexuality "demonic," but Ellen kept her cool. She, at least, is there for peaceful debate.

President Obama could not hide his disdain and President Donald Trump made his position clear ... the Obama administration did no favors to America.

After the speech, you see Obama perfunctorily tell Trump, "Good job," but Michelle cannot hide her contempt.

Twitter's official POTUS and FLOTUS handles have changed profile images to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

Twitter made the switch almost immediately after Trump was sworn in as the 45th Prez. Meanwhile, the Obamas are now @POTUS44 and @FLOTUS44.

This appears to be the first time in history Twitter's done this. Tweeting wasn't nearly as widespread in 2009, and @POTUS wasn't created until 2015.

The oath itself went off without a hitch ... however, Prez Trump's speech -- filled with images of an America in ruins -- seemed to rub the Obamas the wrong way. It was written all over their faces.

Anti-Trump protests are already getting violent -- we got this crazy video of a fight breaking out on a Washington, D.C. street, and a woman was assaulted ... just one block from the inauguration.

It's unclear what sparked the conflict, but it appears some Trump protesters pissed off a group of men walking past them ... then all hell broke loose. Radio host Alex Jones was nearby and shouted for cops as one of the men hit a female protester.

Officers responded quickly, but it's obvious it's going to be a tense day in Washington. We're already seeing roving groups of masked people destroying property.

Donald Trump's inauguration parade may encounter some secondhand weed smoke since more than 4,000 joints will spark up at once just a few miles away.

Pro-weed group org DCMJ is handing out upwards of 4,200 free joints to the public Friday at DuPont Circle -- about 3 miles away from the US Capitol, where Trump will be sworn in.

The ceremony will fire up 4 minutes and 20 seconds into Trump's Presidency.

Alec Baldwin, almost certainly the second most famous "Donald Trump" in the world, had a measured but strong reaction to the ascendancy of Donald Trump during a NYC protest.

Police and anti-Donald Trump protesters are clashing in a rally that began outside the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C.

The protest started at the hotel, and then marched through D.C. to the National Press Club several blocks away. Once there ... pepper spray was fired into the crowd, and protesters started trying to break through police lines.

At one point, a Trump supporter was seen being punched multiple times in the head by masked protesters.

At least one protester has been bloodied. We have photographers right in the middle of the chaos.
