'16 & Pregnant' Mom Allegedly PUNCHES Baby Daddy
One of the young moms on the new season of MTV's "16 & Pregnant" came face to face with cops Monday after allegedly socking her baby daddy in the cheek during an argument ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... cops in Hillsborough County, Florida responded to a battery call at the home of 19-year-old Josh Smith ... after he was allegedly attacked by the mother of his twins,17-year-old Jennifer Del Rio.
We're told Smith gave a statement to police ... explaining that he was trying to break things off with Jennifer ... when she became "irate" and "punched him in the face and pulled on his shirt."
Smith says he eventually pushed Jennifer away in self-defense.
Cops took a report -- but so far, neither Del Rio nor Smith have been arrested.
It's not the first time these two have dealt with the cops -- Smith was arrested back in November for allegedly attacking HER ... and was ordered to complete a domestic violence program.

'16 & Pregnant' Star -- My Baby Daddy Attacked Me
One of the young women featured on the new season of "16 & Pregnant" claims her baby daddy is such a horrible person -- he threatened to have her raped AFTER he attacked her ... TMZ has learned.
Jennifer Del Rio -- a 17-year-old who makes her debut on the show later this month -- filed documents in Hillsborough County, Florida begging a judge to grant a restraining order against her baby daddy, 19-year-old Josh Smith.
According to the documents filed in March, Del Rio claims Smith -- the father of her twin babies -- had been "harrasing [sic] and threatened [her] saying he will have [her] raped."
Del Rio continued, "[Smith] has attempted to kidnap children." She adds, "Due to [Smith's] violence [Del Rio] is frightened for her life and children's life."
TMZ has learned Smith was arrested back in November for domestic violence against Jennifer and was ordered to complete an educational program. Smith is still in the process of completing the course.
Smith is seen in handcuffs on the promo for the new MTV show -- and we've learned the footage was shot on the same day he was arrested for the domestic violence charge back on November 4 ... just weeks after their twins were born.
In the end, Del Rio failed to appear at the hearing for a restraining order against Smith -- so the request was dropped.
Attempts to reach Smith were unsuccessful. A rep for Del Rio had no comment.

'16 and Pregnant' Family -- Furious With MTV
One of the families featured on this week's episode of MTV's "16 and Pregnant" is threatening to sue the network -- claiming producers schemed to portray them as reckless, unsupportive relatives.
Kathleen Green (left) -- the grandmother of baby daddy Isiah -- tells TMZ the network "defamed" her family because "nothing that aired is what happened" in real life.
Kathleen tells us MTV set up shots and heavily edited footage in the episode -- which revolves around Isiah, his baby mama Christinna (right) and the birth of their daughter Destiny.
Kathleen says she's particularly upset with a scene involving a DNA test she bought for Christinna -- claiming she came off as a cold-hearted bitch because MTV left out one key detail -- "They didn’t show that [Christinna] had told us she had had sex with some other guy."
Now, Green says her family wants to sue the network for defamation.
Calls to MTV have not been returned.
