Carmen Canovas Cervello, yes, a nurse, was snorkeling in the Maldives when a 220-lb, 8-foot-long nurse shark attacked her and left a gnarly, 6-inch wound as a souvenir.

The video is crazy ... you see the shark circle her before it sinks its chompers in the snorkeler, right in her shoulder and upper back.

So that's actually not the craziest part ... Cervello goes to shore, gets the wound cleaned, and jumps back in the ocean for a second swim!!!

Her friend, Ibrahim Shafeeg, an underwater photog, is the one who shot the footage. No excuse to miss a shot!

BTW ... they knew these waters were shark-infested but, hey, you take your chances. Fact is, most nurse sharks don't pose a danger, unless they're provoked.

Taylor Swift made a subtle change at her concert Thursday night in Tampa -- well, face it, nothing's subtle with the Swifties -- and it seems to revolve around her breakup.

Taylor uses a song when she goes offstage and eventually reappears with the next "era" of her work. The transition song up until this concert was "Everything Has Changed," which is about a happy relationship. At the Tampa concert, however, the transition was "Holy Ground," a song looking back wistfully on a failed relationship.

If that's not enough to make you think she's referring to her breakup with Joe Alwyn, she opened her show with this -- "Is it just me or do we have a lot of things to catch up on?"

Taylor's set list remained the same, but she did make interesting references ... for example, "I've been thinking a lot about one of my albums recently. One of my albums has been on my mind a lot ... lots going on in my brain about it."

At one point Taylor flexed her bicep and gave her arm a kiss ... a pretty clear indication she's still standing strong.

Taylor had a slight wardrobe malfunction at one point when her garter fell off during a song. Her singers came to the rescue.

Taylor's fans generally pick up on every little Easter egg, but we're thinking they missed a series of clues for weeks ... clues that she broke up with Joe. It seems she wanted it front and center for her tour, and when fans didn't pick up what she was puttin' down, someone leaked the breakup news.

Meanwhile, Taylor's hit up Electric Lady recording studio in NYC ... so she's up to something!

Ryan Seacrest has just closed out his final day of "Live With Kelly & Ryan" ... and his last episode had just about everyone reaching for tissues.

Ryan walked out with Kelly Ripa one last time Friday morning to a roar of applause from the audience -- which included his parents, sister Meredith, and GF Aubrey. The screen behind the cohosts read "Bye Bye, Ry Ry."

Kelly and Ryan were emotional from the get-go, joking about realizing they'll be shedding some tears today. They even showed an adorable send-off video from his niece. Ryan's last guest on the show was Dr. Jill Biden. The First Lady said they sometimes watch 'Live' in the White House.

His official goodbye at the end was every bit as sad as you'd think, too ... with Kelly first saying so long to her pal, before Ryan thanked her for everything, saying goodbye to the show he's been able to call home.

You'll recall, Ryan took the spot in 2017 ... a year after Michael Strahan made the switch to "Good Morning America" -- something that apparently blindsided Kelly.

Ryan covered a LOT during his 6 years on the morning show, including the pandemic -- which forced them both to take their hosting duties to their homes. With Ryan now off the air, Kelly's husband, Mark Consuelos, will take his place.

As we reported, Ryan made the shocking announcement in February -- sources connected to the host told us he had only planned to stay for 3 years but obviously kept things going. He'll be staying pretty busy with "American Idol," his morning radio show, "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve," and even producing his own olive oil.

As doctors perform a battery of tests on Jamie Foxx, producers of the movie he was shooting are clearly pivoting ... trying to figure out how to proceed in his absence.

TMZ broke the story ... Jamie's doctors still don't know what's at the root of a very serious medical emergency that landed him in the hospital Tuesday morning ... so serious family flew in from out of town to be with him.

Jamie will be in the hospital for at least a few more days, our sources say, and it's unclear when he'll be able to go back to work.

As we reported, we're told he has 8 shooting days left for the film, but production sources say they expect to wrap next week. Unclear how this information aligns.

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet are adding to rumors about their supposed romance ... because her car is in the driveway of his Bev Hills home!

The billionaire's black Range Rover SUV pulled up to Timothee's sprawling estate Thursday afternoon ... and it's sure to drive the internet into a frenzy.

Kylie wasn't sightseeing either ... her car pulled in from the road and drove straight up the winding driveway ... in other words, she knew exactly where she was going.

Dating rumors have swirled around Kylie and Timothee recently ... but there's been no official confirmation from either side about a relationship.

Kylie and Timothee were spotted chatting each other up at Paris Fashion Week in a video that's going viral online ... but this is the first time she's been photographed at his place.

As you know, Kylie has two kids with rapper Travis Scott, daughter Stormi and son Aire, and she's previously been in a long-term relationship with Tyga.

Timothee's no stranger to celeb couplings either ... he's been linked in the past to Eiza Gonzalez, Lily-Rose Depp and Lourdes Leon.

It'll be interesting to see if Kylie and Timothee are toying with folks ... or if this is the real deal.

Kane Brown needs better protection, and we don't mean bodyguards -- the guy took a shot to the nuts while performing, and had an odd reaction ... putting his John Hancock on the boot that took him out!!!

The country singer had a show Thursday night in Wichita for his "The Drunk or Dreaming Tour" ... and the crowd was certainly having fun -- maybe a little too much fun, which is where the rogue cowboy boot comes into play.

The video's pretty hilarious, unless you're Kane -- ironically, in the middle of "One Thing Right," the boot nails him right in the junk, making him stop to catch his breath. He goes to the floor to finish the song before flattening himself out.

Seemed like Kane was a good sport, though, because he later signed the offending boot and handed back to someone in the crowd. Unclear if he signed his name or just drew a middle finger on it, though.

The timing of the shoe couldn't be more perfect, BTW ... right after getting hit, he sings the lyrics, "I've been at the wrong place at the wrong time."

Kourtney Kardashian is in leathered-out super fan mode for her husband Travis Barker's remarkable reunion performance with Blink-182 at Coachella.

Kourt and Travis got on the road Thursday to head to Indio, California for the huge Musical Festival weekend ... and she made sure to flick it up and show support for her hubby ahead of his set.

While on the road, she posted a few photos from inside the trailer using the Coachella geotag, showing off her 'fit and giving fans a sneak peek behind-the-scenes.

As we reported, Travis had surgery to repair his busted left ring finger a little over a month ago ... and that forced the band to postpone dates on their first tour together in 9 years.

The man charged with fatally stabbing Cash App founder Bob Lee has a history of brushes with the law, and was once arrested for illegal possession of a knife, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

Nima Momeni was busted Thursday for the April 4 murder of Lee, which cops say happened after they got into a heated argument while driving in Momeni’s car in San Francisco. Cops say the men knew each other, although no motive's been disclosed yet.

Momeni, the owner of a Tech start-up company called ExpandIT, was previously arrested in 2011 for allegedly carrying a switchblade, again while driving in his car.

Momeni ended up pleading no contest to driving on a suspended license in exchange for a dismissal of the knife charge.

In a separate incident from 2004, Momeni was arrested for DUI.

In the less violent/criminal department ... Momeni's also, apparently, a liar.

On his LinkedIn page, he claims he attended UC Berkeley, but a University spokesperson denies that, asserting the alleged killer never attended the prestigious school.

Momeni is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon for Lee's murder.

If DeMar DeRozan will allow the Bulls' not-so-secret weapon, a.k.a. his daughter, Diar to miss school on Friday, the screeching 9-year-old free throw disruptor has a free ride to Miami ... courtesy of United Airlines.

Diar became an overnight sensation following Wednesday night's game ... where she repeatedly screamed while the Raptors players shot free throws, which appears to have worked!

Toronto missed half of their free throws -- going 18 of 36 from the charity stripe -- in the elimination game that they lost 109-105. The Raptors normally shoot nearly 80 percent ... meaning they left about 10 points (and a win) on the table.

The Raptors are now home.

As for Chicago, in order to advance, the Bulls must beat the Heat tonight in Miami ... and United say they have a seat aboard one of their jets for Diar.

"The flight's on us. What do you say, @DeMar_DeRozan? We’d love to take Diar’s talents to South Beach," the airline tweeted.

It makes sense. The Bulls play at the United Center ... the arena inked a 20-year extension for the naming rights in 2013.

Although Diar has become a fan-favorite in Chicago, DeMar said she won't attend Friday night's win-or-go-home game, explaining she has to get back to school.

Ne-Yo says Taylor Swift has all the inspiration to write her next hit song now that she's broken up with her longtime boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

We got the "So Sick" singer at LAX and asked him about the silver linings to all the emotions involved in a romantic split ... and Ne-Yo told us some of his best songs are directly tied to heartache.

Ne-Yo says Taylor won't have to suffer through the breakup as much as a regular person ... because talented songwriters like them can take bad energy and turn it into something positive ... like hit records.

Lolo Jones has some strong (albeit playful) words for Shaquille O'Neal after the NBA legend called Angel Reese LSU's G.O.A.T. ... telling TMZ Sports Diesel had to be "high" when he made the statement.

Jones -- who starred for LSU's track team before competing in BOTH the Summer and Winter Olympics -- got wind of O'Neal referring to Reese as the greatest athlete to ever come out of Baton Rouge on his 'Big Podcast' this week, and she vehemently disagreed with her fellow Tigers alum.

In fact, she seemed to think Shaq wasn't in his right mind since undergoing surgery last month.

"Shaq knew what he was doing," Jones said. "Shaq's just bored. He's coming off hip surgery. He's chilling at home. I think Shaq, honestly, is high on some pain medicines. The list is so big with LSU."

Jones -- a decorated hurdler and bobsledder -- feels Shaq was trying to stir the pot by saying Reese is LSU's top-ranked athlete ... knowing that it makes for good "water cooler talk."

"So, for Shaq to have the audacity to say 'she's the best ever,'" Jones continued, "I'm like, 'Bro, chill on the pain meds,' because that list is arduous. So long."

Jones -- who won three NCAA titles and earned 11 All-American honors as an LSU Tiger -- said she wouldn't put herself at the top of the list of the university's G.O.A.T. athletes.

But, don't get it twisted -- Lolo told us she isn't disrespecting Reese ... saying, "We're not hating on Angel. We love to see it. She's cooking. Let her keep cooking. But I'm telling you, LSU track and field is the powerhouse for that university."

It's been four months since Brittney Griner was released from a Russian penal camp, but the WNBA star hasn't forgotten about the Americans left behind, vowing to continue to fight for the release of U.S. citizens being held captive in Russia.

32-year-old Griner made a surprise cameo at Al Sharpton's National Action Network's Women's Empowerment Luncheon in NYC on Thursday, where she addressed the crowd.

“I want to continue to fight to bring home every American detained overseas. That means everything to me,” Griner said, flanked by her wife Cherelle Griner and Sharpton.

Of course, Brittney was sentenced to 9 years behind Russian bars after being found guilty on a drug charge. After 10 months spent in a jail cell and penal colony, she returned home on December 8 in a high-profile prisoner exchange.

After months of negotiations, the U.S. agreed to send Viktor Bout, known as the "Merchant of Death," serving a lengthy prison sentence in the States, back to Russia as part of a trade.

At the time of her release, the government was criticized for not getting back U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, who has been locked up in Russia since late December 2018.

On Thursday, Griner made it clear she hasn't forgotten about Whelan and several other Americans who are still overseas.

Everything really is bigger in Texas ... including prison sentences, because a man is potentially going to spend the rest of his life behind bars for spitting at police officers during his arrest.

A Lubbock jury handed down the headline-grabbing punishment Wednesday for 36-year-old Larry Pearson ... who was found guilty of 2 counts of harassment of a public servant.

Prosecutors say Pearson spit at 2 Lubbock PD officers who arrested him in May 2022 on domestic violence charges after a woman told cops Pearson hit her in the face.

According to prosecutors, Pearson was upset the alleged victim was not arrested instead, and started kicking at the doors in the cop car where he was being held ... and he spit at the officers when they opened the car door.

Prosecutors say the spitting didn't end there ... claiming Pearson kept hocking loogies upon arrival at the Lubbock County Detention Center.

During the trial's closing arguments, prosecutor Jessica Gorman asked jurors to consider a sentence that would "send a message" to not only Pearson, but also society ... and he ended up getting 70 years.

Pearson also had prior convictions for family violence and aggravated robbery, and, as a result, the minimum sentence the jury could impose was 25 years.

The guy's no angel, for sure, but there's a huge gap between 25 and 70 years! And, for a crime like spitting ... that seems extreme. Even in Texas.
