Check out this wild confrontation -- a driver, accompanied by a woman, exits his white SUV, whips out a knife and charges at the driver of a silver SUV in the middle of the road, stabbing him several times in the arm on Saturday afternoon in Ontario.

Things had already hit a boiling point leading up to the stabbing -- with cops later confirming the whole thing started with one driver cutting off the other.

Morgan Wallen is no longer tolerating fans throwing items at him on stage ... as the country singer pointedly disposed of one rogue phone during a recent concert.

Check it out ... Morgan is filmed singing his hit, "Cowgirls," when someone in the crowd at the Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado throws their phone at him. The phone hits Morgan right in the shoulder before falling to the ground.

Rather than ignore the unwanted item, Morgan picks up the phone and chucks it offstage ... looking seriously annoyed. However, Morgan recovers pretty quickly ... moving on to another part of the stage to finish the song.

Chet Hanks is opening up about his past drug abuse ... admitting he went overboard with his cocaine consumption, going as far as calling himself a full-on "cokehead."

Tom Hanks' son addressed his issues with cocaine during an appearance on Bradley Martyn's "Raw Talk" podcast. As he put it, cocaine was the drug he had the biggest problem with and compared himself to Al Pacino's "Scarface" character, Tony Montana.

Chet recalled his addiction getting so bad that "known cokeheads" would tell him he needed to "chill out." He says he even knew who the veteran druggies were when he ran into them at clubs, so he'd hit 'em up for coke.

The Cleveland Browns are dealing with a heartbreaking loss on Tuesday -- the team's live mascot, Swagger Jr., has passed away.

He was just five years old.

The team posted a touching message in the Bullmastiff's honor minutes ago ... saying, "We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mascot, SJ. We are so grateful for his many years of loyal support and cherish all of the wonderful memories he helped create for fans young and old."

The court has been very heavy handled with Mayor Giuliani from the inception of this matter. We are exploring any appellate options. Rudy and I traded some text messages -- he was not surprised at all – he felt there was no likelihood he would get a fair shake."

9:46 AM PT -- One of Rudy Giuliani's attorneys, L. Allyn Stockton, tells TMZ ... "If what New York has revoked his license for is similar to his conduct in Georgia, then they have revoked his license for merely representing a client zealously."

Devastating news in the sports world ... rising Badminton star Zhang Zhijie died after collapsing during a match on Sunday. He was only 17.

The tragic incident occurred during the Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Yogyakarta, Indonesia ... as China's Zhijie faced Japan's Kazuma Kawano.

Footage of the incident, which we will not share, shows Zhijie collapsing, sending him crashing to the floor, where he appeared to convulse ... as his opponent and other officials stood watching.
