Luigi Mangione’s online fan base is next-level, with the hype so wild that people are even offering to cover his legal bills after he was charged in the Brian Thompson murder case.

Thomas Dickey, the attorney for 26-year-old Mangione, admitted he hasn’t seen the emails himself, but his office staff filled him in on the wild offers to cover his fees.

When asked why fans were offering to pay, Dickey told CNN's The Source with Kaitlan Collins that they'e "exercising their right to free speech and they're saying that's the way they're supporting my client."

Luigi Mangione's getting his own cell at a Pennsylvania correctional facility, and he hasn't been interacting with other inmates recently ... and, we now know what he'll be eating too.

A representative for the PA Department of Corrections tells TMZ ... Mangione will be held in a single cell -- no roommate locked up with him -- at SCI Huntingdon just outside Altoona.

We're told he's not in solitary confinement ... but, he won't be interacting with other inmates at this time -- so, no hanging out in the rec yard for now it seems.

The McDonald's where suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione was apprehended is on high alert ... police presence has been beefed up -- whether they want it or not.

Altoona Police tell TMZ ... they have increased patrols around the local McDonald's where LM was nabbed on Monday. We're told the additional eyes on the restaurant will likely continue at least until Mangione is hauled off to NYC ... something he's currently fighting in court.

Per the police, staff at the McDonald's didn't ask for the patrols ... but it is "common practice" when a high-profile crime occurs.

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson's murder is inspiring warnings to other healthcare executives ... with "wanted" posters popping up in NYC of other big players in the industry.

Video of these posters is going viral online ... showing a dark green traffic control box in Lower Manhattan decorated with three posters featuring healthcare CEOs -- including Thompson's photo with a huge red "X" slashed through it.

The other 2 execs are at OptumHealth and UnitedHealth Group and the poster accuses them of denying medical coverage in order to bolster their companies' bottom lines.

Joe Rogan is coming out swinging against the healthcare industry, calling it a "dirty business" following the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

During Tuesday's podcast, Rogan sat down with movie director Quentin Tarantino and producer Roger Avary ... with the trio at one point turning their conversation to Luigi Mangione -- the suspected killer of Thompson.

Rogan said he doesn't think Mangione is a professional assassin, but rather is someone who may have had a beef with the healthcare business. Rogan also said UnitedHealthcare apparently "is really bad at denying claims.”

A source with direct knowledge tells TMZ … they had been on vacation with a friend in Krabi, Thailand, and met Mangione by chance at a Muay Thai fight in April 2024. We're told the trio hit it off, reconnected later to explore the city together and even planned a future road trip.

The source says the group split up briefly when Luigi headed to Phuket, and they made their way to Malaysia. However, the trio did eventually link back up in Thailand, embarking on their planned road trip -- which included stops in Khao Sok and Bangkok.
