3:44 PM PT -- Kelce's remarks on the city of Dallas reached Mayor Eric L. Johnson, who told TMZ Sports he's laughin' it off.

"We have to consider that this may have been meant as a compliment from the guy who is most famous for leading the ‘Tush Push'," Mayor Johnson said.

"Or perhaps he has spent too much time at the bottom of piles to recognize a city on the rise. As we say here in Texas, bless his heart."

All three family members were in attendance at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, where "The Lion King" prequel film had its highly anticipated premiere.

Their appearance spoke volumes in the wake of the troubling allegations against the Carter patriarch.

Luigi Mangione has officially been charged with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson ... TMZ has confirmed.

According to court records obtained by TMZ ... Mangione was hit with the charges late Monday, for allegedly gunning down the healthcare CEO last week in midtown Manhattan.

Mangione now faces a slew of charges in New York, including murder, 2 counts of possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a forged instrument, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Camryn Bynum is hoping his latest viral interception celebration scores him even more TV time ... telling TMZ Sports he would love to parlay his newfound internet fame into an appearance on "The Masked Singer."

The Vikings star set social media ablaze yet again on Sunday ... when he and Josh Metellus recreated the dance-off scene from "White Chicks" after his teammate picked off a Kirk Cousins pass in Minnesota's 42-21 win over Atlanta.

12/10/24 2:55 PM PT -- Tony Buzbee has now specifically addressed Matthew Thompson's allegations, telling TMZ ... "Mr. Thompson was solicited and paid to bring this case. It has no merit. The lawyers who brought it would have seen that had they bothered to do any due diligence at all. In his suit, Thompson claims our firm failed to forward to him payments made by his former employer. That’s patently untrue. His employer refused to make any such payments to him. He claims the fees weren’t explained. That’s also patently false. He signed a contract that clearly sets forth the fees.  He claims that the expenses weren’t explained. Again, patently false. He signed an affidavit at settlement agreeing to the expenses and acknowledging they were explained. Finally, Thompson’s claim that the firm took more than the contractual fee is patently false. He signed an affidavit stating that all was done correctly. The bottom line is that the investigators who manufactured this case and the lawyers who filed it were reckless and foolish. The case is junk and the effort behind it will be exposed."

12/10/24 1:40 PM PT -- Tony Buzbee tells TMZ … "Jay-Z’s investigators contacted more than forty former clients they apparently found on Venmo. They each were offered $1000 to sue me. We have the investigators caught on tape admitting they gave this 'client' money to bring this case. We will be seeking state bar action against the lawyers involved because such conduct is a state law crime and also violates the ethical rules that govern lawyers. The case itself is frivolous and will be dismissed as such."

Jay-Z isn't the only one targeting attorney Tony Buzbee in court -- a former client claims Buzbee acted more like his loan shark than his lawyer in a personal injury case.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is refusing to support the narrative painting Brian Thompson's suspected killer as a modern-day vigilante ... slamming the notion as the murder case continues.

The politician spoke out in a press conference Monday after Luigi Mangione, the top person of interest in the fatal shooting of the UnitedHealthcare CEO, was arrested in Pennsylvania that same day.

While addressing reporters, Shapiro made it clear Mangione was "no hero," adding ... "In America, we do not kill people in cold blood to resolve policy differences or express a viewpoint."

4:47 PM PT -- Luigi Mangione, who is a top person of interest in the death of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, has been ordered to be held without bail after appearing in court for the first time Monday.

He was charged with forgery, carrying a firearm without a license, tampering with records or identification, and providing false identification to law enforcement.

While he did not enter a plea, Mangione reportedly spoke against 2 claims made against him ... including the suggestion he was criminally sophisticated.

Mangione's next hearing is set for Dec. 23 in Pennsylvania ... though, New York state is expected to issue a warrant.

The 26-year-old Maryland native, who was picked up in Altoona, Pennsylvania earlier Monday in connection with the NYC murder, arrived at the Blair County Court House in PA ... where he was set to appear for a preliminary arraignment.

Watch the video ... Mangione, who was detained in handcuffs, appeared stone-faced as he was helped out of the back of police SUV. The person of interest wore a dark long-sleeved shirt and jeans as he made his way into the court ... not uttering a word.

Chris Rock's brother Tony is coming to his defense after the comedian faced backlash for storming out mid-set at a private event over the weekend.

We caught up with Tony, who is also a stand-up comedian in his own right, at LAX amid the controversy ... where he gave an expletive-filled explanation as to why his brother was in the right for his heated response.

As Tony put it ... people shouldn't be filming comedians' sets -- even at private functions -- as they're constantly working through their material. According to Tony, fans who try and put out incomplete work are "f***ing a**holes," which is why he can understand Chris' frustration.

Chevy Chase's heartwarming photo of himself and his young granddaughter was totally upstaged by an apparent eye injury ... prompting worry from fans.

Luigi Mangione's social media presence is blowing up after he was named a person of interest in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Check it out ... earlier this morning, Mangione -- who is currently being questioned by authorities after being picked up in Altoona, Pennsylvania -- had a mere 975 followers on Instagram. His follower count skyrocketed by tens of thousands after his identity was revealed to the public.

At the time of writing, Mangione's IG account -- which has been inactive since 2021 -- had just over 27,000 followers ... many of whom have declared their attraction to the person of interest.

Tina Knowles is making it clear she hasn't weighed in on son-in-law Jay-Z's current legal woes ... posting a pointed response after her social media activity was called out.

Beyoncé's mother posted to Instagram on Monday after reports began pointing out that the Knowles matriarch "liked" a post detailing the rape allegation made against Jay-Z and Diddy in a recent lawsuit.

However, as Tina claimed in a note shared to Instagram, she was not the person who liked the news post ... as she said she was "hacked" prior to the social media activity.
