Teddi Mellencamp isn't alone as she navigates her newly minted single status ... best friend Kyle Richards is offering up plenty of advice during this trying time.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star made it clear she's standing by her BFF and former costar after John Mellencamp's daughter filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage last week.

While chatting with E! News, Kyle, who is currently separated from husband Mauricio Umansky, said she "wasn't surprised" by her pal's marriage coming to an end ... though, she was "sad" to learn the update.

An Oklahoma City cop is facing backlash after he aggressively threw an elderly man to the ground during a traffic dispute ... reportedly causing a number of upsetting injuries.

In a new video making the rounds online ... the officer is seen issuing a traffic ticket to a 70-year-old man, named Lich Vu, and his wife in Oklahoma City. The scene starts off calmly enough ... with the officer explaining to Vu that he was being cited for an "improper U-turn," even though another driver struck his vehicle.

While Vu tries to explain himself, he is repeatedly interrupted by the officer ... leading the elderly man to tap the cop on the chest and say, "Shut up."

Tom Cruise is upping the ante for his next 'Mission: Impossible' movie ... pulling off another jaw-dropping stunt for the spy thriller franchise.

Check it out ... the new trailer for "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" dropped Monday, with Cruise back in action as super-spy Ethan Hunt. This, of course, meant the stunt-loving actor underwent a number of grueling action sequences ... including one where he clung onto a plane as it did aerial spins.

While we're sure there were several safety protocols in place during the stunt, the final product is certainly impressive ... given the fact it looks as though Cruise could've fallen to his death if it had gone even slightly awry.

American musician Brian Setzer was in his mid-20s when he gained fame with his retro rockabilly band Stray Cats -- landing on the music charts with hit songs like "(She's) Sexy + 17" and "Stray Cat Strut" back in in '80s.

After The Stray Cats parted ways in 1984, Setzer kicked off his solo career and was the opening act for the rock band, The Honeydrippers.
