Jimmy Kimmel got choked up during the opening monologue of his late-night show, telling his audience it was "terrible" that Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
The comedian came out onstage Wednesday evening for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" one day after Trump beat Harris at the polls, delivering a somber speech that nearly made Jimmy cry.
Jimmy said it was a "terrible night for women, for children, for hundreds of thousands of hard-working immigrants," briefly pausing to fight back tears.
Raygun I'm Done With Competitive Breaking
Rachael "Raygun" Gunn is done with competitive breaking ... she revealed this week she's calling it quits due to all of the hate that was spewed her way following her viral performance in the Olympics.
The 37-year-old made the announcement while on The Jimmy & Nath Show ... explaining that everything she went through in France and its aftermath has sapped all of the joy she used to get out of competing.

Artem Chigvintsev says his bank account took a huge hit -- losing $100,000 in income -- after he was arrested for domestic violence against his estranged wife Nikki Garcia (Bella).
According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, Artem says he was still a working dancer despite Nikki's claims to the contrary after he lost his gig on "Dancing With The Stars." Artem says he regularly picked up dance jobs on Saturdays and Sundays, and each project would last 20 weekends.
But, after his bust, Artem says his mug shot spread across the media based on Nikki's false allegations, and his job opportunities dried up, leading to his $100,000 erosion of income.

Brock hit the big screen with co-star Sinbad as the Secret Service agent assigned to protect Luke and Art LaFleur as the White House's security chief, Morton.
His role in "First Kid" came full circle when he ran for an independent candidate in the 2020 U.S. Election.
Pierce is also known for his character in "The Mighty Ducks" and "D2: The Mighty Ducks."
