A Long Beach, California neighborhood was rocked when a back house on a home lot suddenly exploded, leaving a man injured -- and the whole jaw-dropping moment was caught on surveillance video.

It all went down Monday, and the explosion was wild. Pieces of the accessory dwelling unit -- sometimes called a "granny flat" or "mother-in-law quarters" -- shot in every direction, damaging the second house on the property, cracking ceilings and shattering windows of nearby homes, with heavy debris slamming onto nearby cars.

The blast was so powerful folks living blocks away felt the rumble, and it even knocked out power in the area.

A major Australian airline is apologizing after showing a sexually explicit movie on every single screen during a 10-hour flight ... horrifying passengers who had no say in their in-flight entertainment.

The movie on this flight was "Daddio" ... which stars Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn and features graphic nudity, sexting and tons of profanity.

The film's IMDB Parents Guide section notes "Photos of nude female breasts & a prosthetic penis are shown on a phone."

A police officer was on scene and tried to take Hannah to an Uber, when the reality star allegedly tried punching the cop with a closed fist.

Hannah was handcuffed, but the officer says she attempted to kick the cop multiple times. Hannah was placed under arrest and was in the police car on the way to jail, when she allegedly repeatedly threatened to kill the officer and the officer's sister.

Nell Smith — the teenager best known for her collaboration with The Flaming Lips — has died.

Smith was supposed to have her first solo album released by record label, Bella Union, before she passed away last weekend, according to the company's owner, Simon Raymonde.

Her family said in a statement Smith was "cruelly taken from us on October 5," describing her as "feisty, talented, unique, beautiful." They said they were still reeling from her death because she had so much more to experience in life.
