Jimmy Carter's milestone birthday is one worth extra celebration ... the former president's 100th birthday makes history as he becomes the longest living prez.

The longtime politician turned 100 on Tuesday ... after spending the last 19 months in hospice care. He is the only U.S. President to live to 100.

Carter served as the 39th president of the United States after previously serving as the 76th governor of Georgia. The former president has always been dedicated to service ... whether it was his time in the Navy or his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity.

6:55 PM PT -- Major League Baseball released a statement following the passing of Pete Rose ... extending their condolences to Rose's family, friends and friends "who admired his greatness, grit and determination on the field of play."

MLB legend Pete Rose has died at the age of 83, TMZ Sports has learned.

Rose, Major League Baseball's hit king, passed away earlier today at his home in Las Vegas ... where he was found by a family member.

Livvy Dunne rocked a fitting accessory to watch her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, finish off his one-of-a-kind rookie season ... a pair of one-of-a-kind boots!

The feet heat -- which Dunne sported to cheer on the Pirates ace in his 2024-25 finale against the Yankees on Saturday -- featured a white Skenes Pittsburgh jersey on a pair of white Cowboy boots ... and TMZ Sports has learned Jessica Martini made them by hand.

She first got her start in television on the Australian fantasy teen drama "H20: Just Add Water," however in 2011 she cemented herself as a worldwide star landing the role as Rebekah on "The Vampire Diaries."

From her success, she's used her platform for advocacy like raising money for Boston Children's Hospital and running the New York City Marathon.

More proof Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are totally fine despite her glaring absence from his last two NFL games ... he's never expected his girlfriend to attend every contest, and even said so himself.

Travis voiced his expectations for his girlfriend in an interview back in 2016, and now the clip is resurfacing in light of Taylor being MIA at Chiefs games for two straight NFL Sundays.

In the clip, Travis tells WhoSay ... "If you're dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games."

Sarah Hyland is cutting out her former manager from his cut of her "Modern Family" paychecks ... at least according to a new lawsuit.

The "Modern Family" star is being sued by Richard Konigsberg, who claims he served as her personal and professional manager for 15 years and helped her land her breakthrough role on the hit sitcom.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Richard says Sarah unceremoniously fired him in April in what he believes is an attempt to get out of paying him his 10% commission on a couple lucrative projects he helped Sarah land.

Diddy is once again trying to get himself released on bond, 2 weeks after he was arrested ... and we're told he's building a powerhouse legal team to try to make it a reality.

New court documents show the rap mogul's lawyer filed to appeal the most recent order denying him bond ... the appeal will be his 3rd formal attempt to secure his release from behind bars as he awaits trial.

Sources close to Diddy tell TMZ ... the rapper has added 2 more attorneys -- Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro -- to the legal team working on his highly publicized criminal case. (For those wondering, Alexandra is not related to famed defense attorney Robert Shapiro).

Rob Schneider was one of millions to share their condolences following Dikembe Mutombo's death ... but his tribute to the legend stuck out in particular -- as he used the tragic news to push his anti-vax stance.

Beverly Hills was the scene of a real-life nightmare when an alleged kidnapper tried to yank a little girl from her dad’s arms in broad daylight -- ending up stabbed in the scuffle and later dying.

Onlookers caught some of the incident on camera Saturday ... showing the injured father desperately pleading for someone to call 911 while clutching his young daughter, safe again in his arms -- as the suspect turned his fury toward a Good Samaritan who tried to intervene.

In the footage, the bloodied assailant is seen diving into the rear car window of the man who only wants to be identified as Brian. He later told L.A.'s ABC7 it was clear the attacker was experiencing a psychotic break or reacting to drugs.
