Sandy Posey -- who hit it big time in the '60s with her music career -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

The late pop singer's husband, Wade Cummins, tells us his wife passed away Saturday morning at her home in Tennessee -- this following complications from dementia, we're told.

Wade tells us Sandy had been battling dementia for a while now, with a slow decline over the past seven years. Aside from that, he says she was in relatively good health ... with no issues like high blood pressure or problems with any other organs.

Rep. Eli Crane is checking out the perch where Thomas Matthew Crooks fired at Donald Trump ... and he's questioning how the shooter slipped past the Secret Service.

The Republican Congressman from Arizona is in Butler, PA investigating the scene of the Trump rally shooting ... and he's sharing video from the infamous sloped roof where Crooks opened fire on Trump before Secret Service countersnipers killed him.

A former Navy SEAL sniper himself, Rep. Crane disputes the Secret Service claim it didn't have personnel on the roof because of its slope ... and he's wondering why there wasn't a sniper posted on a nearby water tower, which offers a clear view of the roof where Crooks took up position.

Ana Navarro is putting George Clooney on blast after he called on President Biden to exit the election ... demanding the actor now show up for the Democratic Party in a big way.

We're told Autumn passed away Saturday at a home she was living at with her kids, her mom and her stepdad in Henrico County, Virginia. Our sources say her mother and stepfather found her unresponsive in her bedroom, after a friend notified them that something was wrong. Paramedics then arrived and attempted to render CPR.

Karen Read is heading back to court for round two -- a judge just greenlit a second murder trial in the death of her BF, John O'Keefe ... weeks after declaring it a mistrial following a hung jury.

Massachusetts Judge Beverly Cannone has penciled in Read’s retrial for January 27, 2025 ... dropping the news Monday in front of both the prosecution and defense attorneys.
