Shannon Sharpe just issued a face-to-face apology to Megan Thee Stallion for the sexual comments he previously made about her ... saying he deeply regrets the negative impact his words may have had on her life.

The "Savage" rapper was the latest A-lister to join the "Club Shay Shay" podcast on Monday ... and the first thing he did was admit he was wrong for referencing her the way that he did on his "Nightcap" show with Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.

During the November 2023 episode, Sharpe verbally drooled over Meg ... saying he would have her "stretched out like a quarter to three" if he ever got the opportunity.

Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman's families are slamming O.J. Simpson's "In Memoriam" tribute at the BET Awards ... calling it entirely inappropriate.

Fred Goldman, Ron's father, tells TMZ he can't wrap his head around the O.J. tribute ... saying there was absolutely no positive spin on his inclusion in the segment, which was introduced as honoring Black excellence lost in the last year.

Fred insists, even though they probably won't, BET should issue an apology ... telling us, "I think they shouldn't include anyone of that caliber -- a wife beater, murderer … can't imagine why they would include someone like that."

Legally, some might say Diddy is up a creek without a paddle, but he's not looking the least bit panicked ... as he paddles his face off floating down a river, far from all his problems.

The embattled Bad Boy Records founder went white water rafting over the weekend in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and kinda looked like a natural.

Jonathan Owens' day job won't keep him from watching Simone Biles in her return to the Olympics ... the gymnastics star revealed Sunday the Bears are giving her husband time off to see her in France.

Owens had been slated to report for Chicago training camp on July 19 ... and then play in the team's Hall of Fame Game against the Texans on Aug. 1. But, with Biles officially qualifying for the Paris games at the U.S. Olympic Trials over the weekend, the gymnast told USA TODAY those plans are likely to change.

"The Bears are actually granting him a couple days off from training camp, so he'll be there, yes," Biles said. "For just a short little time."

12:23 PM PT -- BET is blaming an "audio malfunction" for Usher's muted speech and ponied up an apology via The Hollywood Reporter.

Usher got deep reliving hardships of his life and career during the 2024 BET Awards -- but the TV audience missed much of his Lifetime Achievement speech, because he made the censors work overtime!!!

Fans posted their frustration on social media and it was clear why they were upset -- BET was forced to mute big chunks of his speech, due to Usher dropping some colorful language.

New York City's Pride Parade ended on a sour note ... as multiple brawls broke out, which forced cops to intervene.

Washington Square Park became the center of chaos Sunday evening, as onlookers gathered to watch as several attendees exchanged punches and hurled insults at one another.

In one particularly troubling incident ... a woman in a black bra and shorts stood in a water fountain while wailing on 2 other female guests. As the brawl escalated, the woman in the bra pushed one of her rivals to the ground before redirecting her energies to another woman in a pink top -- who had her hair aggressively pulled by another person later on.

Politics and rap music collided at the BET Awards 2024 ... when Vice President Kamala Harris slyly dropped a Kendrick Lamar reference to drive home her point about the upcoming elections.

In a pre-recorded clip airing during the ceremony Sunday, Harris took a call from host Taraji P. Henson ... who was worried about freedoms, women's rights, and the Supreme Court.

Kamala agreed there was a lot at stake, adding, "The majority of us believe in freedom and equality, but these extremists, as they say, "They not like us.'"

Shekinah Garner's standing by her guy, who's getting raked over the coals for revealing his body count -- with Shekinah lamenting slut-shaming in this day and age.

We caught up with the "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way" star in L.A. ... and had to ask about her future husband Sarper revealing on air he's slept with more than 2,500 women.

Check out the clip... Garner kicks it off by saying she thinks the slut-shaming's terrible -- before adding she doesn't think sleeping with so many women was a wise choice. That said, she also gives props to Sarper for his honesty here.

Kevin Dillon's Tesla apparently took an unplanned pit stop mid-carwash ... and cops say it caused a rear-end ripple effect for some unlucky cars in line behind him.

The incident went down last Monday at an L.A.-area drive-thru car wash ... where cars are typically left in neutral as they go through the wash. But, in Kevin's case, we're told he accidentally lifted up from his seat, which triggered the brakes ... bringing his car to an unexpected halt.

Our sources say this sparked a fender bender with the 3 cars behind him. Thankfully, we're told the damage was minimal.

Country star Brantley Gilbert is bidding adieu to his Georgia abode ... and looking to pocket some serious dough in the process.

Real estate sources tell TMZ ... Brantley built the house on the 12 acres of land he purchased back in 2010 ... but recently got a hankerin' for more and snapped up 300 acres of farmland nearby.

For the uninitiated ... "fair copies" are handwritten lyrics penned by the artist after the original lyrics sheet is completed. Dan wrote this copy a few years back for a friend, and it's scribbled across 8 sheets of personalized parchment.
