O.J. Simpson spoke to many close friends and family members in his last days, but he did not make any confessions about the murders before succumbing to cancer.

Of course, almost as soon as news broke of his death, people wondered if he'd spoken at all about the slayings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. It does play like the perfect movie scene, which clearly helped fuel the rumor -- but a source with direct knowledge tells us it's just that ... a rumor.

We asked if anything like that happened, and one source called it "totally false."

"The Golden Bachelor" star Gerry Turner is officially on the path to divorce from Theresa Nist -- he wasted no time filing, doing so mere hours after announcing their split.

TMZ has obtained the divorce papers ... Gerry filed them Friday morning in his hometown of Petersburg, Indiana, and cites an "irretrievable breakdown" of the marriage as the reason for them breaking up.

Gerry says they have a prenup ... so it should be a fairly quick divorce -- plus, they've only been married since the show ended back in January.

Roberto Cavalli -- the famous Italian fashion designer -- has died ... according to a social media post by the company he founded.

Cavalli's self-titled company posted on Instagram Friday ... announcing his passing with great sadness, and shared statements from the company's CEO and its creative director.

Roberto was born in Florence, Italy in 1940 and founded his fashion company Roberto Cavalli in 1975 ... when his patented animal print styling really took off. Over the years, he's clothed myriad celebs in the style.

A group of thieves smashed up an Oakland jewelry store, stealing valuables from the broken glass cases before a man with a shotgun chased them off ... and, it was all caught on video.

Eight people ran into Phuong Jewelry in Oakland's Chinatown neighborhood Wednesday ... bashing cases with hammers and making off with a ton of the store's pieces.

Check out the vid ... the first person walks in holding what appears to be a gun and aiming it at the store's owner, Diane Trinh, and another person, forcing them to drop to the ground -- before the other assailants start to smash in the cases.

The last person known to have spoken to Riley Strain before he disappeared has finally given a statement to the cops ... and his family is hailing it as a "huge" development.

Chris Dingman, a spokesperson for Riley's devastated family, told NewsNation the new witness spoke with the family first, and then "told the detective his account of the story of what happened to Riley” -- all this 3 weeks after they found his body.

Dingman didn't say who the witness was or share the specific details they provided about what happened to Riley ... before he disappeared and was later found dead.

2:22 PM PT -- Ippei Mizuhara showed up to his court appearance with shackles around his ankles ... although the chains were ultimately removed as the hearing got underway.

During the proceedings, Mizuhara -- wearing a dark-colored suit -- learned he will be released on $25,000 bond ... but he will have to abide by a myriad of conditions in order to stay out of custody -- including no gambling whatsoever.

Mizuhara will also have to enroll in a gamblers addiction treatment program ... as well as, among other stipulations, have no communication with Shohei Ohtani.

Caitlyn Jenner is refusing to apologize for her blunt statement regarding O.J. Simpson's death, and she's calling out those who say she's just like him ... due to a deadly car wreck.

The Olympian faced a barrage of negative comments after she celebrated O.J.'s passing ... writing "Good Riddance" in a curt statement on X. In response, many slammed Caitlyn -- and compared her to Simpson by calling her a killer for her involvement in a 2015 fatal car accident.

Caitlyn responded to the criticism Friday, defending she is nothing like the controversial NFL star -- who was found liable in a 1996 civil trial for the killing of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Burglars hit the home of "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star Dr. Wendy Osefo, swiping some very expensive possessions from the Bravo star ... TMZ has learned.

We’re told the burglary took place some time last week in Finksburg, MD when Wendy and her family were on vacation in Jamaica. A spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office tells us the theft was reported to their office on Sunday ... but shared no further details as the investigation is still ongoing.

Wendy tells TMZ ... "My family and I are devastated and feel violated by this intrusion. We thank God no one was home … so for that we feel very blessed. Material things can always be replaced."

O.J. Simpson was surrounded by family in the final days before his death, and that includes all of his living children -- yes, even the 2 youngest he had with Nicole Brown Simpson.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... everyone who came to visit O.J. at his home in the days before he passed had to sign NDAs for his privacy -- that went for friends, family and even medical personnel who were coming into contact with him while he was under hospice care.

We're told on Friday, a medical professional checked on O.J. and notified those around him that he was starting to transition -- and that's when everyone came flocking to his bedside.
